Figured I'd make this after I finished my "I haz carrot" pic. [link]

I think I got some of the wording off, specifically on the second attack, but I can't be bothered to fix it (I already merged the layers, anyway). Also, the male symbol that appears in the smaller text is a bit off. Gill Sans doesn't seem to have a male symbol and the default unicode one looked even worse, so I tried to make one by splicing together the letters o, X, and B.

I'm not really sure why I decided to make it like this - all I knew is that I wanted to use my new PokeBall pic on a card. I had made a PokeBall card before (which can still be found as the 5th result on a Google search for "pokeball card"), so I guess that inspired me to swish it up a bit. The general idea came from the LEGEND and FA concepts, though I also threw in a little bit of an idea I came up with during my early days of faking - horizontal cards. Hopefully it doesn't seem too weird and some of you like it. :)

The top card was the original and the bottom was made with updated artwork. Alone, the new artwork looks best, but I've yet to decide which one looks best on the card, so I included both. Opinions?

Oh, and if any of you are interested in this template, I can upload it. Just let me know.

This looks kind of like the MTG full art cards which is cool. The 2nd picture looks better as it seems as if the pokemon is Coming out of the ball, the first one just looks like the ball is on fire XD

I've played very, very few games of MTG, but I've never seen a FA card. I just looked 'em up on Google. Pretty cool stuff. I think Pokemon stole their idea. :p

I agree that the second looks better....as mlouden said, it looks the the Pokémon is ready to come out.

The artwork for the Pokeball card is AMAZING... not a big fan of it being sideways though.

I'm glad you like it. It's my best PokeBall artwork to date. :D

Yeah, the horizontal position is kind'a... odd. I guess I just didn't want it to be as plain as normal Trainer cards. Besides, like I said, I had made a PokeBall card before with an older illustration, so I decided to swish it up a bit.

Not the most useful card ever. Of course, to most, Dunsparce doesn't seem to be very useful. In reality, Dunsparce is an amazing Pokemon, even in competitive battling, if you know how to use it. Expect to see some cards in the future that will help this card unlock its full potential. ;)

I was going to make it non-holo, but my illustration didn't have much going on in the background, so I opted to fill up the empty space with the pretty sparkles.

Indeed, it probably should. It's 50/50 either way, so I guess it doesn't really matter.

I'm not really happy with the illustration on this one - I kind'a rushed it and neglected the shading - but it gets the job done, I suppose. And yes, this was strongly inspired by the Millennium Ring (Yu-Gi-Oh). I feel that Bakura and Dunsparce have a lot in common.

The wording might be off. The effect was originally longer, but I had to shorten it to make it all fit on the card.

Expect at least 2 more Dunsparce support cards!

Looks truly awesome, bro. Personally, I think the illustration is fantastic! I like the effect as well...as you said, the wording may be off, but I like the way it was done regardless.
