New Ban Policy - PokeBeach Forum Jail

Please hold your opinions of someones case to yourself unless you have important information the staff needs to know. If that is the case, PM one of us.
 
Honestly I never had any trouble with him. That is all I am going to say. Don't worry once you are in jail and you get out you can't be banned or else you are dead. In this case live in jail. LOLz.:)

But how will we know to send a staff member this information, when we, as members, can't see who is appealing their case.
 
He was talking about how we shouldn't be speaking badly about a certain member unless it could benefit the mods' decision of whether the person should be unbanned or not.

If you have relevant information about any banned member contact a S Mod.
 
I have a question. Let's say that a member gets banned for the same offense they had gotten banned for before, will the member have to face trail once more or will they be banned without trial since it is evident that they did not learn anything from their last ban?
 
it probably depends on the offence. if it's an instaban offence, then that's obvious. if it's something like posting bad advice, that might be a little more forgiving since it takes a while for someone to get good in the game to give good advice. they'll probably get a warning and a PM saying not to do it again. then a ban if it happens again. but they've also said that getting re-banned makes it far less likely to get re-unbanned.
 
Actually I was talking about how the green mods are not responsible enough to run the Jail and only the Super Mods should run it. If it is a green mod that did the banning etc then the green mod should contact a Super mod discuss why he/she was banned then the Super mod would handle it from there. The green mods would still be able to ban but the Super mods need to be notified of why the person was banned once the person is in jail Sort of like how a real prison is run where a regular cop contacts prison official of a persons crime etc.:)
 
For now it is only WPM and supermods that are handling the Forum Jail. Also, we are able to view ban reasons so that isn't an issue.

Haha I'm guessing not, maybe some of the banned members will roll doubles though. Do any of the S-Mods have an estimate on how long the average trail will take?
 
LOLz. No you go directly to jail and stay there until you can prove yourself worthy and never do it again or you can stay banned FOREVER XD.:)
 
Okay, if all of the above that you guys said is true, then that means that it is theoretically possible that you can bribe a mod to get out of the Forum Jail and back onto the forums, but it'll cost $50 (transmitted via PayPal) to do so.

And with that little note, I suggest we stop the derailing and get back on topic.
 
Why would we pay to get out when a simple paragraph with detailed intelligence is all you need to get out of the jail. I was banned i 06 for my weird posts and I stopped after I got banned with those posts. When I did do it I did not realize at the time that it was bad to do that. I have not done anything like that since that I can remember anyway. At the time I did not see any harm in doing that though but I learned quickly XD.:)

I hope the wrong message does not get out and the wrong banned member gets out and runs ramped here. I hope those that did the most serious crimes like stealing Pokemon from people or lying stay banned. I have had to fight to get them banned from these forums and I hope they don't come back. I hope the mods know who I am talking about. Thanks.:(
