I made Top-Cut with FluffyChomp lol

Props to Gistica for placing 6-1 in Seniors today. He is in the Quinceanera Cover Girl Date Sweepstakes ! As a side perk he also made Top Cut.
As for me, I finished 5-3. We were 3 people short to have a Top 64 in Master's . If we had Top 64 I would have been in the Top Cut. I guess those 3 people l were waylaid by the "Kiss Me Dirty" event. Bummer.
Fluffychomp was a good call for NorCal regionals because there were a lot of Mewtwo-Terrakion-Darkrai variants.

oopsSet up a Darkrai, 90 damage OHKOs Accelgor. And keep some Sableye ready to Junk Hunt for Max Potions and Catchers.
Make sure to try to get rid of the Piplup/Prinplup/Empoleon quickly, they use that abitity a lot and without it...

Wow. That's really tough. You will need to take down all Shelmets or Accelgors in the bench. So use your Pokemon Catchers wisely. But it is a really bad match-up.

Another note on Empoleon/Accelgor: DO NOT DROP EVIOLITE ON DARKRAI. It makes Darkrai loopable . Without Eviolite, they can't KO it going into their turn. Unless there's some crazy situation where you just need to deny prizes, don't use Eviolite. Don't max potion either, it also makes you loopable.
The only situation where you might want to use either of things is if time is about to be called and you need to stall (or, as I mentioned, some other weird situation where Empoleon might have hit you for some damage anyway. Just keep an eye on the damage calculations to stop yourself from getting looped.)

Empo/Accel seems like it would be a BIG problem for Hydreigon, a deck that does not typically run Switch. Catcher is your friend- abuse it.
Speaking of, they will probably make an effort to catcher/loop your Hydras.
They may also run Terrakion as several Empoleon builds do as a tech.
EDIT just looked and Zach's facing Emily Cheng, who qualified for worlds last year.
I remember talking to Emily yesterday. She said she was 3-4 so it couldn't be her.
It must be a different Emily. Im guessing she might be the girl from Vancouver. I beleive Empo-Accelgor is big in Vancouver. Btw Blargh can you post updates for the knock-out rounds as they happen?
