All of a sudden my touchpad stopped working. My mouse works though. I use an HP Laptop. How can I fix it?

Never mind. I got it.

Mmm, does your touchpad maybe have a button that turns it off, in order to assist people constantly brushing over it while using the keyboard? I have one on mine. The light beside is normally white when working, and red when turned off.

The site was down for me yesterday morning for about 4 hours.

I believe I got a 503 error. What would the cause of this be?

Yeah, everyone had the error. As for the cause, just some odd server error, as far as I know.

Does anyone know if you can resize multiple pictures to the same size at the same time in Microsoft Office Word 2007?

Not if they're different, but if you're trying to make multiples of proxies or something, you can just copy and paste after you've resized it. You're probably trying to resize different things but I'm pretty sure there's no way to do it.

Okay. Thanks.

I found this on-line. I laughed till I cried.

I don't know if this belongs here or if I can revive the thread. It's not stickied, so...

How can I scan a drawing, and then transfer to a Mac computer? The scanner I'm using is Photosmart C5280 All-in-One. I've tried Googling for it, but there's not much information. :(

One thing that you could do is import the scan into paint, save it as a PNG and then transfer it to your mac.

I have an LG Envy 3, it's a hand-me-down phone from about a year and a half ago. It's been turning off randomly (usually only at night) and just started not receiving text messages. You know how when you boot up your phone after it's off for a while, and it receives texts about a minute after it turns on? Well, my phone has been doing that but while it's powered on. It won't the receive the texts until about fifteen minutes after they're sent. Anyone know what to do about this? It's really ticking me off, since I just changed to this phone about a month and a half ago. (Dropped my last one in the toilet. 0.o)

Turning off randomly can be something like a bad seated battery, a bad battery, or bad electronics inside the phone. There's no way to fix those aside from getting a new phone. If you just have a battery that isn't seated right them you can McGuyver something up. As for text messages, that's a matter between the phone and it's connection to the network. Contact your local phone center to have them correct that problem.

Or you may want to try http://support.verizonwireless.com/clc/devices/knowledge_base.html?id=23363

Alright, thanks the both of you. I'm in some real hot water here, because if I don't get this fixed, my phone's gonna be broken and i'm not getting a new one.

I'm having a problem with my Windows Media Player that just started occurring today. Whenever I insert a CD (all English CDs) that I haven't ripped yet, the entire CD data appears in Japanese characters. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I've tried googling it and have only found a few other cases where this has happened, but no solutions.

Your best solution is to use a 3rd party piece of software like WinAMP or Media Player Classic. Anyone who tries to offer you any other suggestion is a troll.

I need help with my speakers. Whenever I play them at first, they play sound really slow, and sounds all scratchy and distorted. Can anyone help me?

P.S. - The effects go away after about 30 min. of continuous use, till I turn them or my computer off.

Going on past experience with crackly speakers, there's pretty much nothing to do but live with it. I've noticed it happens a lot with cheap speakers.
