RE: PokéBeach Technological Help Thread

Yeah the phone type tablets like the Android's and the IPhones seem to be the best ones to have if you want all the good stuff. Thanks to those that help with my Wi-Fi as it is now back up. I just had to enter the new DNS numbers and it is now working again.:)

RE: PokéBeach Technological Help Thread

EA is giving away Apple and Android games everyday for Christmas.

RE: PokéBeach Technological Help Thread

How can they afford to do that in this economy? I am asking because it must cost them a fortune to do it. There must be a catch to do it or they would not offer them at all. Trust me with every cell phone out there that there is always a catch. If you don't see anything chances are they are charging you secretly which is known as hidden charges. They have to get their money somehow. They would not just do it for free. If they are giving them for free I bet they are charging you to play them by draining your minutes. Usually to play a game on your phone they charge you by draining your monthly minutes nowadays. When the game Snake came out it did not charge minutes to play but the ones they have now do charge you minutes and they drain very rapidly so watch yourself when you play them on your phone XD.:)

RE: PokéBeach Technological Help Thread

They could be doing it to gain popularity to get an edge in the market. At least, that's my theory.

RE: PokéBeach Technological Help Thread

True but they always find a way to make you pay and draining your minutes is one of the ways. The other ways of doing it is charging for any data used while you play among other charges too.:)

That would go to your cell provider and not to them.

RE: PokéBeach Technological Help Thread

I meant Cell provider but I did not say it LOLz. Anyway yeah the online games kill your minutes big time. For example if you have a plan that is a Family plan and you plan minutes is 700 you better keep a close eye on the time but if you have it on a separate line then you just have to worry about your own minutes XD.:)

That is your cell provider making a profit, not EA. Your original statement was casting aspersions on EA.

RE: PokéBeach Technological Help Thread

Ah that's weird. I thought I made for the Cell provider. Well I meant to anyway. I knew EA would not be able to make a profit but the Cell providers always find a way to make you pay. It is called skimming in my book. They always find a way to take the fun out of fun. They always try to make money off of something fun. People do it all they time. There is never a time to have fun without giving money to do it anymore.:(

RE: PokéBeach Technological Help Thread

You want free fun? Online web flash games are available. ;3

While not free, MineCraft can drain your time if you have the imagination to use it.

What the heck? Minecraft is on Cellphones too? What is the point of having it on a cellphone when you can get it on your computer for a bit of dough and then play it for free after you buy it. Man I never knew Minecraft was on cellphones too. That to me would be pointless XD.:)

EDIT: Is anyone able to get on Wi-Fi with their DS? I can't seem to log on at all so was just wondering if anyone else can. I am getting the 52100 error again and everything on my router and DS is correct so I was just wondering if you guys could check. If you guys can't then that means Nintendo's network is down or it is hosed right now. Please PM me if you can or can't get on. Thanks XD.:)

Ya, I have wifi as we speak on my DS.
And I'm telling you, you don't need to spend money on minecraft. I know where you can get it for free.

RE: PokéBeach Technological Help Thread

On Computer or Cellphone for free?

Nintendo must have fixed their network by the time you posted man. I know it was down until 1 AM when I got 3 different error codes. 52100 61010 and 20100. After the 3rd one appeared I knew their network was down.:)

RE: PokéBeach Technological Help Thread

On computer. And I guess that's possible. You just always need to keep trying.

RE: PokéBeach Technological Help Thread

What? My sisters boyfriend bought hers for her and she plays it most of the time.

My Wi-Fi is fine now. Thanks for the help XD.:)

RE: PokéBeach Technological Help Thread

EVERY time I try to watch a video on Youtube, I get a message saying:

"Stop running this script?

There is a script causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, it may become unresponsive."

Okay people, I know Internet Explorer isn't the best browser out there(or isn't as good as Fire Fox or Google Chrome), but I'm wondering A) how do you solve this, and B) have any of you ever had this problem?

RE: PokéBeach Technological Help Thread

Which o/s, ie do you have?

RE: PokéBeach Technological Help Thread

I don't know what version of Internet Explorer I have. This isn't actually my comp., however, I'm the one that uses it the most often.
