Is this for us or the Japanese players? Also how will we put our Pokemon to sleep and do the DW while it is down XD. That is going to suck XD. Unless they have a backup site while they update XD. They really should have a backup like Neoseeker does. Neoseeker is NEVER down for maintenance. They have backup for situations like this XD. I am surprised the PGL is not set that way as busy as it is XD.
EDIT: Guys you might want to check the PGL again. The site Maintenance is 3/27/12-3/29/12. Nowhere does it say June. Must be for Japan or it would be in the updates XD. Where did you guys see this XD?

On the Global Link website it says that the Battle Union will undergo a pause up until June, and the entire website being down for some duration due to the inclusion of Black and White 2 in Japan, which are being released in the same month.

So this means none of the American players will be able to access the PGL right? If so that sucks. They need to find a way to update WITHOUT shutting down the site. If Neoseeker can do it so can the PGL XD.

While they do this they need to find a way to keep the site going because thousands of users use the PGL. They have to make it so the site still runs while they update. In other words they should be able to do their updates without closing the site down XD.

Even if it's down a whole month, I wouldn't be too upset. I use it just once a week now if that. Once the BW2 games come out Stateside, that may be a different story. If they're going to update it globally so that the next games work everywhere, I'd consider it well worth the wait (or even if not, this isn't that big of an inconvenience).

Guys. It's just a game. It can't all be that important; we can find other things to do for a month if it is down for all that time - it's no big deal.

Maybe since the games will be released this fall, they will update the English Pokemon Global Link with Japan for Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2? Even if it is under maintenance the whole month, it's not a big deal. We were without Pokemon Global Link a whole month after Pokemon lack and White's US release.

We know that there will be a downtime to accommodate for BW2. That's all there is to it.

Yes! Wasn't expecting the Piplup C-Gear skin because they skipped right to the Crogaunk C-Gear skin last year. Now that we have this, I now have hope again of the Kanto Starters C-Gear skins being released in the US. Porygon-Z too.

Oh goody. I just logged on to acquire it. And at the same time, guess what I found?
