I've beaten the E4 twice now but I still can't get into the Sushi High Roller place, nor have I been contacted by Looker in Lumiose City, and he's not in the building across the alley from the sushi place. What more do I need to do?

Beat the 1,2 and 3 star restaurants.
No. that's not it. I haven't beat the 3 star and I can enter. I believe it has more to do with style, coupled with having already beat the elite 4 (since the owner mentions that when you finally get let in).

Well, I think you have to complete the jobs at Hotel Rissichime at North Boulervard. If not, make lots of Trainer PR videos.

Those both boost style. Another alternative is buy 100 of any pokeball one at a time in the specialty shop in Lumiose (I recommend Timer or Quick Balls since they're useful, but Premier balls work too if you're low on cash). Each transaction there gives you a small style increase.

Wait, you mean, I can buy 99 (since that's the limit per purchase) of the Quick Balls and Timer Balls and it'll increase my style for each one I buy? <Insert balls joke here>

RE: Pokémon X / Y : Playthrough Questions & Answers

no. you need to buy each pokeball individually. The style increase is on a per-transaction basis. You could buy 99 pokeballs in one transaction and get the same style increase as if you only bought 1 (so it's best to do them 1 by 1).

PokeBank Question

Can I transfer all the Pokemon I have from X and Y to PokeBank and start all over? I would to like to do the campaign again and I feel like I missed out on a lot.

RE: PokeBank Question

Yes, you can. It is confirmed you can swap Pokemon from one game to another, even if it's X to X or Y to Y.

RE: PokeBank Question

But you can't store items. If you put in a pokemon holding an item, the item will return to your bag.

RE: Pokémon X / Y : Playthrough Questions & Answers

I'm gonna restart my X soon (my Greninja is evolved and my Flabebe is level 8 and Charmander 10 and I'm about to challenge Korrina wtf i need to stop) and was wondering if it's safe to make my party consist of my favorite 2 types (Fire and Water) or if I should catch pokemon like crazy and train them like I did on Y (where I have all Kalos pokemon registered).

RE: Pokémon X / Y : Playthrough Questions & Answers

What is the easiest way to beat the puzzle mode in the Ame thing is? What do I need on normal to get 3 stars and what do I need on hard for 3 stars? Also what do I need in Unlimited to get 3 stars? Thanks XD.:)

Edit: I guess I already beat normal XD. What do I need on Hard and Unlimited? Thanks XD.:)

RE: Pokémon X / Y : Playthrough Questions & Answers

Anyone know how to get a lot of money fast? I know doing the elite 4 is pretty good but I was wondering if there is any other places just as good or better. Thanks!

RE: Pokémon X / Y : Playthrough Questions & Answers

Yes go to the Battle Chateau and use the Black Writ or the gold writ + a Pokemon with the Amulet Coin+Prize Money O Power XD. This combanation will deal in the dough big time XD.:)

RE: Pokémon X / Y : Playthrough Questions & Answers

Why is it that I used 4 times the amount if pokeballs just trying to catch Articuno than Mewtwo and Zygarde combined?

Because the RNG hates you.

RE: Pokémon X / Y : Playthrough Questions & Answers

It is all up to chance. Mewtwo and Articuno both have a catch rate of 3. I'm not sure about Zygarde's catch rate, although I didn't have much difficulty with it.

The what? Why is it that I'm having this problem with all Kanto pokemon now. Q A Q

RE: Pokémon X / Y : Playthrough Questions & Answers

The catch rate on Legendaries is random when you first encounter them. I found this out back in FR/LG I was able to catch Zapdos in a Poke ball and it only took 6 of those. I think that was in LG. In my X Mewtwo only took 4 Ultra Balls But Zygarde too about 43 Ultra Balls. I have not caught my Zapdos though.

*[mod]Drohn[/mod]:I removed part of your post. Keep in mind that trade requests belong in the Wi-Fi Central.*

RE: Pokémon X / Y : Playthrough Questions & Answers

xxashxx, please don't say things like that when you have no clue what you are talking about... A low catch rate does NOT mean it will always take forever to catch and a high catch rate does not mean you won't fail to catch a mon numerous times. You can get lucky early on low catch rate pokemon and unlucky on high catch rate pokemon (which, additionally, does NOT mean the catch rate is random).

Name questions about Pokémon from different regions.

I'm wondering if I evolve a Pokémon from another region with the name it has in french/Japanese etc, will it turn to English? Once it has evolved. If not is there anyway to get the names to change for the region it is in? Not including nicknames, I know you can't change traded Pokémon nicknames.

RE: Name questions about Pokémon from different regions.

Yep, once the Pokemon has evolved (if it can) it's name will change to English.
(I kno this cos it happened to a Braixen I traded and then evolved into a Delphox)
