In reference to the Gamestop order bonuses, I researched the timeline poster a bit more and apparently that print will be available on the day of release (if you preordered both X and Y). Its demensions are supposed to be 36" X 8". Hope this clears that up for everyone wondering.

I'm just going to quote myself since I got BP'd and I'm seeing the question about why the timeline poster isn't available still floating around.

No problem, hon. I was confused about it just as much as everyone else, but I was lucky enough to talk to a manager who was filling in at my nearby GS on Friday who confirmed it for me.

I preordered my X and Y about a month ago at Gamestop, and got my poster. I had been talking to my friend and he said walmart should have X and Y on sale at midnight on October 12th. I had gone to Walmart earlier to see if they were doing preorders, since I could cancel my Y at gamestop and get it at Walmart at midnight, but they apparently aren't doing preorders.

So I went to the Gamestop next door to ask if they were doing a midnight release for X and Y - as that would solve my troubles, but they had no idea if they were. So, since Walmart isn't doing preorders (according to the manager for Electronics), I should be able to go in and just get it on Oct. 12th? If so, I'll just cancel my Y at Gamestop and get it at Walmart.

I Pre-ordered both,(thanks to my partner and the little money i have saved up).

I went to GameStop the other day to get my shiny Palkia and i asked if they had the poster of X and Y or, The time line one. The guy told me he had no idea if they would have it or not. So, hopefully i will get something when i go get the games.

Wait, what? I thought I could get the poster for pre-ordering both too. I'm slightly deterred by how it has the GSC art for the Johto starters and Suicune but not for the Kanot starters and Pikachu...

I dont think the game shows the old art for Johto pokemon ._.
I thought it was rather obvious i was talking about the poster..

I got a Poster when I pre-ordered Pokemon Y at GameStop. It has Xernas/Yveltal on one side, and the map of Kalos on the other.

It's on my wall with the Xernas/Yveltal side.

The timeline one is supposed to only be available if you pre-order both games and not available until October 12th.

They have the double sided posters available now for pre-ordering either game. If you pre-ordered before the posters were available, our store at least is providing them if you bring in your receipt/proof of pre-order.

My fiancee, the lovely woman she is surprised me yesterday by pre-ordering Pokemon X for me at the Gamestop by our home. She asked the clerk for 2 posters....he gave her 5, haha. I was so in shocked when she told me over the phone. Btw this is in Texas.

Save your receipt and go to them and ask for it. you are entitled, I got one! go to a different Game Stop if you can't get it from the first.

I usually preorder and had never really downloaded a game before but I'm so hyped that I really want to get it as soon as it is available. Any recommendations on which option is the most favorable? What are the pros and cons?

Any reason in particular? I mean, is there any disadvantage in having a digital copy? I'd like to be as informed as I can before making my decision but I have no idea on where to get the [comparative] info about that

I preordered both from gamestop online, along with the X and Y blue 3DS. It said that my games will come in separate shipments though, will I still get a poster?
