If Ash leaves the show (which he wont) id just stop watching, you cant get rid of the main character people have been watching from the beginning and expect to keep viewers, its just a dumb idea, Ash will not leave, ever.

If Ash leaves, confetti and clowns will fall from my ceiling and I'll have a party. I'll play games like:
~Pin the tail on Ash
~Pinata: Ash version
~Destroy the Ash cake
Why would I do this: I HATE ASH! He is annoying, is a crybaby, doesn't respect his mother like he should, has the most annoying voice, doesn't get what he wants, wastes his life, doesn't have a life for that matter, doesn't respect women, dresses like a woman:
Totally ruined Misty, Brock, Tracey, May, Max, and Dawn's life. His Pikachu should be Lv. 100, but it can't stand up to some things :/, Doesn't treat his pokemon with respect, and much... much more

If Ash leaves the show then a lot of people will stop watching the show because they know that the main character who had been on the show for so long has left. Pokemon ratings would go down and many people will stop watching it. So there is no way that Ash is going to leave the show. Some people wish that he would leave, but they aren't understanding that the reviews would go down and the popular Pokemon (Pikachu) who had accompanied Ash since the beginning has left then people would start getting mad and stop watching the series.

Yeah many people would get mad they would destroy everything.
But yeah the series would go downhill and a lot of people would stop watching it. People say that they hate Ash and all and that they should get rid of him, but they aren't understanding that without Ash there is no point of the series. Ash has been there since episode 1. They aren't going to scrap him and put a whole new character to fill his place.

I dont mind Ash, he doesn't piss me off but im not in love with him. And when Ash is battling in tight situations you gotta love it.

Ash does respect his mum and girls for that matter. He wont leave because he is awesome. (Though he does cry a lot because well he isn't an adult and he isn't mature)

Sorry to hear that. Also i'm saying ash is allowed ti cry because his dreams are being crushed, he came all that way and he keeps losing.
ya but if they were to replace ash who would he get replaced with, another trainer aspiring to be the best, gets all the gym badges, goes to the pokemon league, and loses so he can travel to a new area. it would basically be the same guy just with different looks.

I don't think Ash is going to be replaced, neither will Pikachu. They're the "bread and butter" of Pokemon, without them, they would lose so any viewers. Also, about Brock, I think it will highly depend on Iris.
I'm not trying to be racist or anything, but both Iris and Brock are of darker skin, and I honestly don't think Pokemon will have 2 dark-skinned characters, unless they have four main characters, similar to the Advanced Generation.
So I think, if Iris is to become a travelling companion with the main characters, then Brock will most likely not return. But if Iris was a rival of Ash, then Brock should stay.

ya the space between what badge 7 and 8 in dp was like 50 episodes or something crazy, not all were bad but the ones that focus on team rocket, well they all suck.
If he won a gym badge every week, the series would last two months. Also, there'd be no plot/character/Pokémon develoment.
