BW/BW2 Pokemon Black and White 2 Playthroughs Thread (Warning: Spoilers!)

Just beat the champion last night.
Final team:
Batman (Crobat) Lv. 61
Pin Head (Krookodile) Lv.63
Salazar (Serperior) Lv. 62
Oscar (Lucario) Lv. 63
Ronald (Golduck) Lv. 64
PopcornBoy (Magnezone) Lv. 61

Seriously considering restarting to do the challenge mode..

Just wondering, how many of you actually try to catch all/alot of pokemon on a route before moving on? I've got all of the catchable pokemon available so far besides Dunsparce.

Since nobody decided to help me with my team choice, I went with Aron. I figured that I wouldn't want another Ice weakness from Axew and that Tynamo would just be a pain in the butt to train. So, after a little bit of grinding, I was ready for the gym.
...The extremely dangerous wind-tunnel gym.
After finally getting past the danger, I defeated Skyla with a combination of Rock Tombs from a Lairon and Thunderpunches from a Lucario. Then I stepped right aboard the plane to Lentimas Town. So, I then went through Reversal Mountain, and stopped to rest in Undella Town.
...Or at least I would have, had I not forgotten to save after healing. So now I am back at the beginning of Reversal Mountain.

...I'm about to unleash my rage.

The team:
Venusaur
Nidoqueen
Lucario
Genesect
Braviary
Lairon

^Ouch. I try to save whenever I finish crossing an important place.
Anyway, I´m about to face Drayden. Team is as follows...

Emboar Lv. 46
Electivire Lv. 46
Aggron Lv. 46
Espeon Lv. 46
Roserade Lv. 46
Floatzel Lv. 46

I like to make their Levels all the same. : P
By the way, does anybody who has their Pokémon Levels around mine wants to battle?

I assume B/W can battle b/w 2? I think i have pokemon around that level in B/W. black 2 are 60's already. I beat the game a few days ago. Thursday at 2 AMish if I remember correctly. Rounding up the legendary pokemon. Would like to share key stuff with someone who has white, assuming someone's also at that point, Icicle key needed.

Missed your post sorry. The first rule to being a successful trainer..Save early and save often.

Well, either way, I fought tooth and nail back through Reversal Mountain. Actually, not really tooth and nail, since I used 3 Max Repels and was good most of the way. After that, I cleared the trainers out of the routes surrounding Undella Town (I remembered to save this time!) and Lairon evolved into Aggron.

The team:
Venusaur
Lucario
Nidoqueen
Genesect
Braviary
Aggron

So, for Drayden's upcoming gym, I was thinking of replacing Braviary with something else, since Braviary hasn't really been helpful. But the question is, what should I choose:
Choice 1: Axew - Hits extremely hard, but gets hit extremely hard right back.
Choice 2: Tynamo - High attacking stats, could learn Dragon Claw if I were to trade it over to White, but veeeeeeeeeeeery slow.
Choice 3: Seel - Gets STAB Ice Type moves and even learns Ice Beam by level-up, but stats aren't that great. Never mind this one, it turns out I can't get Seel until after Drayden
Choice 4: Buizel - Fast, strong, and learns Ice Punch, but a major glass cannon.

I hope to see some suggestions on this soon.

I beat the Champion yesterday and my team was like this. These versions are great, the cutscenes were amazing, and I still have a lot more to do. I just want to know what exactly happened to kindaspoilersghetsiskindaspoilers, though.

Emboar Lv. 60
Electivire Lv. 60
Aggron Lv. 60
Espeon Lv. 60
Roserade Lv.60
Floatzel Lv.60

Oh, and from above...I recommend either Buizel or Axew. My Floatzel was very helpful for that fight, and you could trade Buizel over to White so it can learn Ice Beam.

Thanks! I still think I'm going to teach Buizel Ice Punch, as its attack is much higher than its special attack though.

In other news, I caught a Sap Sipper Marill from the Floccesy Ranch Hidden Grotto.

Currently In Mistralton City. Now at the Gym.
Oshawott Lv. 42
Keldeo Lv. 57
Genesect Lv. 35
Victini Lv. 100
Swanna Lv. 75

I'm about to battle Clay and I have....

Smug the Servine

Martin the Magnemite

May the Magby

Abigale the Trapinch

Carl the Psyduck

Metallica the Lucario

All around the 27~30 Level. You guys think I should be good? I'm probably going to level grind a bit anyways, but I don't want to do it too much. Otherwise I'll just be wasting time away in one area grinding whenever going further would be better. :p

I would suggest getting everybody between 30-35, since his Excadrill is 33 and can be a major pain if you are under leveled.

He does have a really nice core of Servine, Psyduck, and Lucario though. Anything over 31 is excessive when you have super effective moves on half your team IMO (I had a similar core of types around 30-32 and it was pretty easy).

dmaster out.

He should be fine, the only types that arent super are magnemite and Trapinch, everything kills something else one way or another.

Playing it in challenge mode:

Currently at Nimbasa

Marill - 22
Pignite - 26
Magnemite - 22
Drilbur - 22
Lucario - 25
Trapinch - 21

After catching the first Buizel I found, I noticed one thing.

It was Adamant.

Yeah, definitely keeping this thing.
Anyway, after clearing out all the accessible trainers and some other, unrelated grinding, I was ready for Drayden. His Druddigon fell relatively fast to my Nidoqueen's Blizzards. Floatzel would have destroyed Flygon, had it not survived and hit with an Earth Power that just happened to be critical. Lucario finished the job with a quick Shadow Claw. Haxorus was the one I was really afraid of, but an Ice Gem boosted super effective Blizzard from a Genesect isn't something one easily survives. After that, I did all the plotty Team Plasma stuff, and continued through Seaside cave to Humilau City. For the water gym, Petal Dances, ThunderPunches and the occasional Crunch for those pesky Jellicents did wonders. Once I had obtained my final badge, I worked towards a Brick Break TM, and my efforts paid off.

The team:
Venusaur
Lucario
Nidoqueen
Genesect
Aggron
Floatzel
I don't quite remember what level they are, but they're somewhere in the 45-47 range. Man I'm underleveled.

EDIT: I seriously regret not using a Gligar at this point. Why, you may ask?

It learns Sky Uppercut at level 45.

Sky Uppercut.

Pignite is such a useless starter that I haven't used it in a battle since Elesa. Magnezone, Lucario, Excadrill and Flygon are carrying me. Staryu soon will too.

Just defeated the E4 - ridiculously easy. Without doing any grinding for a couple of gyms (and even then, only 20 minutes worth for all six of my team members) every member of my team was above the level of the Champion's highest Pokemon (62 was my lowest going on).

Bit disappointed in the lack of challenge.
