Earlier today, I faced off against the Elite Four. The only one who posed any major trouble was Shauntal, who took out Lucario, Floatzel and Aggron before I defeated her (Note: Aggron only fainted because of Drifblim's Aftermath). After that, I moved on to Iris. Honestly, I don't really like the dialogue before the battle. I mean, there was no "Surprised to see me here?" or anything like that, as if they just expected us to know she was champion. Which we did, actually, but whatever. I was planning to take out Hydreigon with Aura Sphere, but then Flamethrower happened. In order to preserve my Lucario, I switched to Floatzel, who took the Flamethrower and dealt the rest with Ice Fang. Then came Lapras. Admittedly, it was stupid of me to forget it had Thunderbolt and leave Floatzel in, but it ultimately worked out in my favor. Lapras fell without too much of a fight, with Floatzel, miraculously, still surviving. After thad, I was face to face with Druddigon. To give my main attackers a break, I switched to Aggron. Focus Blast became a complication, but Sturdy kept Aggron alive. Before I could deal the finishing blow, it Dragon Tailed me out... and ran right into Venusaur's Petal Dance. Haxorus was surprisingly easy. Nidoqueen sent it a few Blizzards, and, though fainting in the process, made way for Genesect to revenge kill. I switched to a newly healed Lucario for Aggron and Archeops, who were felled by an Aura Sphere and Thunderpunch, respectively.
