BW/BW2 Pokemon Black and White 2 Playthroughs Thread (Warning: Spoilers!)

I just went into Virbank Gym with:

Dewott lv 20(Modest)
Water Gun
Razor Shell
Tackle
Something

Lucario lv 20(Adamant)
Force Palm
Quick Attack
Copy Cat
Counter

Magnemite lv 20(Timid)
ThunderShock
SonicBoom
Magnet Bomb
Something

I reset for all the natures, and I've been kinda half EV training them. Lucario has a ton of Attack EVs, and Dewott has a ton of SpAttk EVs. :)

I gotta say, Audino makes level grinding ridiculously easy. I finally caught that good Magnemite (I swear they are rarer than 25%...) after many resets (I figure, why waste the great ball when you can reset?), and in like 5 minutes he was level 20.

However, Audino DOES encourage the use of more pokemon, and not 2 or three for the whole game, so I guess it's a good thing.

EDIT: I'm reading where people are playing through the game in challenge mode. How do you do that? I know what it is, and how to get it, I was just wondering how you do it if you haven't beaten the E4. I'm on White 2.

I was training in the ranch for the first gym that was how I found it. I ended up catching two. I ended up raising one that is a Lonely nature. The other is Sassy nature, but if someone wants it I'm willing to trade it.

King arceus, I'm glad to see you had a team similar to mine! But I'm guessing you have Magneton Eviolute instead of evolving him? :)
 
Yes I did. Eviolite helps a lot. It is one of the best holders of Eviolite. Surprisingly Marshal was pretty easy for my team considering half of my team is weak to fighting. Iris is who I struggled the most against. I only used 1 Max Revive which I thought was pretty good.

I did put the game on challenge mode after beating the elite 4 and defeated N and his level 75 Zekrom while none of my team was even at level 70. I used Magneton first to paralyze it with Thunder Wave. Then I used Flash a lot to destroy its accuracy. It helped a lot. Fusion Bolt was a 3HKO move so I could easily heal as well.
 
I actually believe that. I had evolved to magneton right when I was fighting Skyla, and figured WTH, I'll go straight to chargestone and get magnezone... Then I ended up finding eviolite later on and slapped myself for it. Dude, I had a REALLY hard time with E4... Especially Marshall and Iris. Freaking Haxorus w/ dragon dance + dual chop + X - Scissor + E-quake = ate my team apart. I had to use ALL my max revives. I bought 20 too... lol. I still can't figure out how to use the key system... Or where to access it more like. :p

EDIT: and is it possible to finish your Pokedex (completely) with both BW2? The national one... And can we get Thundurus/Landorus/Tornadus T forme without a 3DS?
 
To access the key system you have to pick that option that says Unova Link in the main menu. I want to say I used a combination of Zoroark and Samurott to take out her Haxorus. Zoroark was able to get its HP way down with just one Night Daze, although I'm sure Foul Play also would considering Haxorus' high attack.

EDIT: and is it possible to finish your Pokedex (completely) with both BW2? The national one... And can we get Thundurus/Landorus/Tornadus T forme without a 3DS?

Ok, cool. Now I do believe I read something one Serebii that said that if you want to restart after using the key (Say restart with challenge mode) that it will lose the key affect. So should I trade the key to white 2, then restart, and then play challenge? Or better yet (Since I haven't started white 2), I can do that game on the challenge mode. Sounds fun. xD Dude, my highest Lv before the E4, was a 64... And it was Magnezone... lol. I had to use a combo of Virizion (Swords dance + Sacred Sword with good speed), and magnezone was useless ($#@! mold breaker ruining my sturdy...), and pretty much ONLY my virizion could hit it. By the time it used up DD, I was hosed with ALL my other guys.
 
Starting B2 today. I'm going to pick Snivy, but other than that, I have no clue what I want.
Any suggestions? I need 6 good Pokes with a variety of atk types. (I don't care if I drop Snivy for something)
 
Dude, Magnemite, Growlithe (if want fast fire guy), Riolu (Sp. Att train), and get the musketeer guys later on, so wait until you get them.
 
I am going to agree with Magnemite and Riolu for use in the beginning. I'd say Sewaddle is good to use in the beginning until you can get Virizion. Once Magby evolves at level 30 it can get a variety of moves through TMs and Move Tutors. It does get Clear Smog also which is helpful if the opponent has used some moves to alter its stats. Faint Attack is great as well against people who use Minimize. There really isn't much for a good water type you can get in the beginning.
 
I've been busy with this game. First of all, I beat up the Team Plasma Frigate both times. Then, I navigated to the Kyurem room. As the white beast attacked me, I thought it was the end... Oh, who am I kidding, Aggron 2HKOed it. Ghetsis was actually really easy. Hydreigon fell to an Expert Belt-boosted Aura Sphere. The only thing I really had trouble with was Cofagrigus, which was only because I didn't have any effective counters. Moving on, I took Victory Road by storm. No real challenges there. Lastly, I got the team up to level 58, then bought 30 Max Repels and cycled around in Reversal Mountain until I got Shards by the truckload. New moves were then taught.
