Pokemon Pokemon Plotholes Discussion Thread

RE: Pokemon Plotholes!

@ Lord Zapdos - Look back a few pages on this thread, and you'll see why (we've discussed this before). XD

RE: Pokemon Plotholes!

Actually, Latios died in the 5th movie :p so LordZapdos' statement is somewhat incorrect

^^ Oh snap; nice one Nefarious!

How does a Mankey grow those punk-wristbands when it evolves into a Primeape? (Turning emo, huh?) XD

They're markings.. o:

RE: Pokemon Plotholes!

I know, but it's just that they look like shackles or wristbands also, lol.

*EDIT*

This is from Bulbapedia:
Physiology
Primeape has a round body covered in whitish, messy fur. Primeape's arms and legs are colored brown. Primeape has metal shackles on its wrists and ankles; this is probably indicative of a method of training with weights. The forepaws seem to resemble boxing gloves, alluding to its nature as a Fighting-type Pokémon.

Aha, I was right; they are shackles! ^_^

What? Roasted Dusk is good!

When you catch more than 6 Pokémon, the ball is immediately transported to either the PC (game) or Prof. Oak/Birch/Rowan/Elm (tv)

RE: Pokemon Plotholes!

How do you put Pokemon in the PC, anyway? Surely you don't smash the screen and put them in?

Ash uses the PC.
Skip to 5:43, and watch till 6:18. Ash uses the PC like any normal trainer would.

RE: Pokemon Plotholes!

Nice PPM! Cool.
Also when your aurfing how come you end up battling on the pokemon that is using surf. Beacuse when your surfing and you send out a pokemo you don't throw it in the water, do you?

Remember that Pokemon can mysteriously turn into a magical red beam of light with the click of a button (pokeball)? This probably means that they're converting into some strange unknown energy, thus being "electronically compatible" if that makes any sense. Anyone who can explain the science behind the pokeball could surely answer the question. Then again, who can do that? XD

Lol, and speaking of such captivity, how can a Pokemon be stuck inside their Pokeball for huge amounts of time. It is such a small area of space, and they can somehow manage like this. In real life, animals nor humans could deal with such limited space... unless the Pokeball is really bigger inside? :p I have no idea.

RE: Pokemon Plotholes!

Maybe Pokeballs have a very tiny waterproof hole on the front that sends out a minimizer beam out that touches the Pokemon and brings it back into the tiny hole in the Pokeball.

Guess the only reasonable answer to this is that the world of Pokemon exists in the future, where this might be possible. XD

In the future, the phones wouldn't have cords.

When did I ever say anything about "phones"? Oh, and BTW, you won't even need phones at all in the future. XD

It surely doesn't exist in the past or the present when you think about it.
