RE: Pokedex 2.0 - Region Thread!
Route B11
Resembles: Kalos Route 19
West Side
The west side of this cliff-laden route is extremely small, consisting of only one patch of flowers. Beside it is the entrance to the Broken Bridge.
Broken Bridge
This bridge has been broken for as long as anyone can remember; despite numerous requests to fix it, ultimately no crew ever comes out to repair it. When approaching this from the west side, you cannot do anything here; it is a dead end.
When approaching from the east side, Stephen appears here, and asks you to look very closely at the bridge, stating that not everything is always as it appears. He then walks out off the edge of the bridge, and continues walking in midair - the bridge isn't out at all, it just appears to be broken. You can continue on it into the Secret Garden. Once you have viewed this scene, the bridge on both sides (west and east) now connects to the Secret Garden.
East Side
The east side of the route is much larger and more complicated. The path from the Zalem City gate to the Broken Bridge is fairly straightforward, but there are also a number of other paths to explore, including the marshlands below the bridge, which provide additional trainers and items. The area directly under the bridge is blocked off by rocks; a man there comments that it's strange no one's thought to remove the rocks. He then immediately forgets he thought that, and repeats the same process every time you talk to him.

Secret Garden
Resembles: Pokémon Village (Kalos)
This secret spot was hidden from the world by a pair of Hypnozeat and a pair of Maraunt, setting aside their blood feud in order to protect some of Baloncé's most fragile Pokémon. While no one can see it from the outside, only a select few are capable of entering it, even if they know it exists.
The Hypnozeats stand guard over the eastern entrance, and the Maraunts over the western. One of the Hypnozeats will give you a Jaboca Berry if it is daytime, and one of the Maraunts will give you a Rowap Berry if it is nighttime.
There are several small trees in the garden; they do not block anything, but can be removed using Incinerate. If you do, one of the Hypnozeats or Maraunts will immediately remove you from the Garden. You can immediately return, though the tree will have grown back.

Wishing Well
Inside the Garden's cave is a large pool fed by waterfalls. Next to it is a plaque instructing that in order to receive the well's blessings, you must throw in two things of great worth: gold, and a gemstone. If you throw a Gold Nugget and any type Gem other than a Normal Gem, you receive a Plate of the corresponding type. You may do this multiple times to receive multiple Plates of the same type.
If you go to the Wishing Well with all 17 Plates in your Bag, instead of being asked to throw something into the well, something will jump out:

Route B22
Resembles: Marvelous Bridge. Background instead resembles Kalos Frost Cavern exterior.
Victory Roads are fairly tricky; since they are sculpted from the earth to provide as difficult of a challenge for trainers as possible, they rarely last long once they are no longer used, and go to seed. When the original Victory Road collapsed here, the Route B22 Bridge was built over where it used to be, providing a surprisingly modern and hip way to reach an aging city.
Halfway across the bridge is a salesman who stops you and asks if you'd like to purchase a unique Biweak for 50,000P. If you say no, he lets you progress, but you can change your mind and buy it later. The Biweak is level 15, in a Luxury Ball, bears the OT of the salesman (Joren, 55513) instead of your own, and knows Present in addition to its standard moves. If you visit him again after evolving it into Malevolice, he will offer to teach it Ice Burn at no extra cost. If the Biweak/Malevolice has a Happiness of 220+, he will offer to teach it Freeze Shock.
Snow will sometimes pile up on the edge of the bridge. If you examine it, you may find a Snow Ball, or encounter a Pokémon:

Stephen wouldn't be a member of Team Shadow, the reason why he'd tell the player about them is because, out of all the NPCs in the region who are not part of the Team, he'd probably have the most information about them. Though, part of the idea was that Stephen's extensively researched from-the-outside perspective would be immensely different from the inside perspective the Shadow Grunts have. Much like how N's ideal Team Plasma and Ghetsis's true Team Plasma have different beliefs and goals, yet are still the same group (eventually splitting for B2W2), the intent was also to show two opposing viewpoints on Team Shadow - for example, the evil Team Shadow, who terrorizes Baloncé purely for their own gain, and the necessary Team Shadow, who needs to exist to balance out the order created by the police and government.
But, considering that BW gave two sides to their Team's story (making the Team more interesting and advancing the paired themes of the game) without resorting to weird, divided plot arcs, I can see why the feature is unnecessary. From the beginning I only proposed it as a means to simulate a game pair within a single entity.
Anyway, onto some areas that are on the map, but I never got around to completing. Florolord shows up in one of them, but since you have to have 8 badges to do the event, anyway, that seems fair. I think that should be Aerolord/Florolord/Terralord's thing: you can get them as soon as you complete Zalem City (which probably means one of them is at <29> and the other one is somewhere you have to Dive to), but you have to complete some complicated task to get them (in this case, getting all 17 Plates). They're roughly like the Regis of this game, so making them weird to obtain would be in-character for that.
Finally got around to reading the big Ancient Shrine plot stuff. I'm glad that's all in there, I was starting to get really worried we completely forgot to put in a big dramatic plot section of the game! Definitely a big thumbs up on it from my end.
For Steffenka, I'm glad you're finally touching on the Safari Zone, since that was another missing piece of the puzzle...I think we should go ahead and make [17] a full-service Safari Zone fly spot, like in HGSS, but I was wondering, since Tulip Field has a Pokémon Center, and all the ingredients for a town, can we upgrade its status to a town? I like Tulove Town, but you can choose something less hokey. Obviously the encounters and Trainers can stay, because plenty of towns have those things anyway.
