"Prof. it!":The Ultimate Pokemon TCG Show! Episode 53!

RE: "Prof. it!": a bi-weekly youtube show on the pokemon TCG!shooting for 100 subscibers!

Once again, great videos. It's nice to have someone speaking out like this in videos. A lot of times, videos can be more effective than articles. I really enjoy your work, I can definitely see you becoming big as you're one of the few vlogging TCG players out there. When I say big, I don't only mean on YouTube possibly, haha.

So yeah, great stuff. Looking forward to the next deck analysis!

Gliscor/Spiritomb, please.

I wouldn't mind Flychamp or Gengar.

dmaster out.

RE: "Prof. it!": a bi-weekly youtube show on the pokemon TCG!shooting for 100 subscibers!

You should analyze something recognized as good (aka, not Spiritomb/Gliscor just because a standard list is best used).

It be great if you tackled one of the common Sp Decks, as people seem to be steering away from them despite being a good option. Like Luxiken or Legos.

JWittz HAS been showing things recognized as good. His first show was Gyrados. I don't see why you may think this is bad. And more common SP decks arent Luxiken or Legos. In fact those are steering away from the common metagame. More common SPs are something like Luxape, SP Toolbox, and Blazeray (This is going out too).

I believe those are the same deck.

Anyway, I would mind seeing an SP deck featured.

thanks for all of the input, guys! I think I've decided I'm going to talk about whatever deck I take to my next tournament. I'm spending all thanksgiving with the family to pick out the deck I feel the best with. Anybody have any suggestions there? Illinois has a very balanced metagame--making it hard to pick any kind of counter deck. I'm looking for things either unexpected or very balanced.

Thanks again to all who watch and subscribe!

Where exactly did I say anything about Gyarados? He did a great video on Gyarados, and I'd like to have him continue doing his videos on decks that are high flux in the meta, hence my comment to steer clear of the sugested Gliscor/Tomb until it becomes something that you have to write in your match-ups for front page articles.

And Toolbox really can't be made into a video, because the entire point is that despite a focus on the earlier Galactic Pokemon trend they have, Toolboxes are supposed to be able to change, sometimes drastically, in a hurry. Listing Luxape and Blazeray (after stating the later as an uncommon metadeck) is nearly pointless, as most players who played Luxape now play Blazeray, because Nidoqueen's increased popularity makes Ape 4 a lot less useful, and Gyarados, Flygon, Beedrill and Gengar are all handled better by Blazekin. Final note, Legos and the increasingly popular DPL (same thing but with Luxray) is still one of the best Sp options and the most versitile lock option in competitve play.

Sorry to get a little off topic, but as I said before an article on something everyone can expect to see at cities would be great. Enjoy the show.

RE: "Prof. it!": a bi-weekly youtube show on the pokemon TCG!shooting for 100 subscibers!

an idea for a future deck review could be scizor/cherrim it did well for a small window of time and i think arceus has given it new life and a different strategy while keeping the same lines,
also on the latest vid loving how you included L's theme towards the end keep up the awesome work, this was either going to be hit or miss, in my opinion this is a hit. keep it consistent i wanna see you hit the bulls eye with this

RE: "Prof. it!": a bi-weekly youtube show on the pokemon TCG!shooting for 100 subscibers!

I just watched your Gyrados deck review, and I must admit, the depth is excellent.
However, I noticed you neglected to add Floatzel GL LV.X + BTS (unless I'm blind) for a consistent recovery as a choice. Any particular reason for this?

RE: "Prof. it!": a bi-weekly youtube show on the pokemon TCG!shooting for 100 subscibers!

^Floatzel is recognized as a bad card in Gyarados. Why? Simply put:

Luxray Gl Lv.X, Dialga G lv.X and Flygon Lv.X decimate it, as does anything that plays said Luxray or Palkia Lv.X/Poke Blowers. No to mention it won't rescue itself if sniped. You can't afford to run less Pokemon Rescue because of those chances, so why put in a 2 Cards that fufill a role you already have have 4-8 spots in your deck fufilling? Also, Gengar's Fainting Spell doesn't trigger water Rescue, nor does any other forms of knock outs that aren't direct damage.

RE: "Prof. it!": a bi-weekly youtube show on the pokemon TCG!shooting for 100 subscibers!

Ah, I see. Thanks.

RE: "Prof. it!": a bi-weekly youtube show on the pokemon TCG!shooting for 100 subscibers!

--The floatzel GL option isn't actually horrible, I just forgot about it. I've seen Clinton Chan use it to a good amount of success.

Thanks again for all your commentary! I decided to take a week off from episodes, but I'll put a short tournament report up today for you all on my CC! I'm doing full fledged CC reports for the rest of the CC season, so be sure to check em out!

Thats why it was neglected in a kingdra build. :p

Anyway great videos, I would like you to do a review/Analysis on either Flychamp or speedrill.

Keep it up ;)

Solid epsidoe man, looking forward to your next report! Though you use Unown G in your Shuppet Varient. Personallly, i dislike it, but whatever works.

The only real reason I use it is vs. the machamp matchup. Put unnown G on crobat G so they can't take you out, and then you have fighting resistance as well

I checked it out. Really great show you put together. I recently subscribed to your channel also. I'm trying my hand at a poke-rap also but it's a little difficult.
