o.o I've never had to take anything out, believe it or not. Then again, Photoshop CS3 scales EVERYTHING in the picture, including text size, so it's a major convinience and probably explains why I have never had to take anything out before. And yeah.. your Trainer Passes are STILL huge for just displaying your team, IMO. lol Shoot me if you want. xD

There a little big, but I do offer a various range of styles and sizes. The size most are familiar with is the Medium but there is also a Small and a Extra Small as well as a large which is the original. I just use the Medium because the Smaller sizes arent Custom enough for me....the Medium lets me do some things.

Wow I made it? I was for sure I was out! Good job infernape, you did great!

Also, it may be interesting to see me finish this challenege lol. Wont be home till about 7 today but have a project to do, tommarow wont be home till 10:30 because of a v ball game, and friday the whole 7 thing but I dont have a project...

O well I shall still work hard cause I think I used my 24 hrs on my first entrie lol

4th place....I don't think I could have asked for more. Thank you so much BR. I've had alot of fun during this contest. I will be checking this thread every day, for new posts.

Well If I remember correctly you have a little experence with this type of challenge.....as far as the time, it shouldnt be an issue if you knock it out in one night. Just get an idea and go with it. Remember it dosent have to be a beginning....it could be a middle chapter or the ending or whatever you wanna do.

INFERNAPE-You deserved it.....most times you put in worthy work. Im glad you'll be checking the thread....theres definately a trophy for you in the Awards Show after the Finals.

Whoops, I just gave away the awards show didnt I? Ah well.

Ohhh I got an idea! If I have time after I finish kmy project tonight Ill start writing. Its knida col because the only real reason I got into this contest was the fan fic contest lol. Too bad I wont be planning on continuing this fic becaue I have one that is currently biong wirtten and one that needs to be continued after I finish the current one...

YES! FINALS! AND FAN FIC CHALLENGE! Although I am sad to see INFERNAPE go, I'm incredibly glad he made it this far! Nice job INFERNAPE!

Ok sorry for being inactive in this thread, I have been at my grandmas for the past...2 days and will be there tonight. But I can still work on my stuff. I am going to kansas city for the weekend (leaving friday returning sunday) and since I am in the finals I KNOW i can't use my vacation week, but I think I can muttle through! Thanks for everything, this should be a fun round! No more then 1000 words, hmmm I hope I can do that, when it comes to writing, I tend to be a little wordy. But I think I can do that!

Thanks MK63! I'm glad I lost to 3 great artists, and make it this far with my friends. It was alot of fun competing with you guys. Usally I'm judging you...but It was nice for a change to compete with you.

Back on the off-topic topic of wes's banners: :p (I defy your on topic-ness BR! jk, lol)

I really like the fact that you make your BG's yourself. I try to do as much stuff myself as possible. I wouldn't get locked into the text format you're using though. It's not really fitting for much but contest banners... for those though it's really cool.

I've always made my banners at thier finished size, I can't really see the benefit of resizing down in a banner situation. Obviously stuff like drawings, ect. is different. And then if you have the text layer simplified for some reason it shrinks to much...

Anyway, back on topic:

And MUCKSTER, I'll be honest and tell you I voted for you to be out, but I'm kinda glad you arent since fan-fics are the whole reason you were invited. Looking forward to something good!

I like to make my own backrounds too, but for certain themed pieces I just work with whats out there....as it looks better. But all of the pieces in my Avvy/Sig I made myself....sept for the Detroit mini-banner....that I just recolored/edited/cropped.

Hopefully MK can finish.....the judging will probably end Saturday Night-Sunday so the Finals should start Sunday-Monday depending. You will have at least 5 days for the Finals, but there may be some unexpected twists. :]

Oh BTW AS-I found some cool trophys :] There a little bigger than usual, but there like really high-quality pics of real ones...which is pretty sweet. I may need them cutout if you can do that...theres about 5-6 different styles I have saved that I'll use for certain awards. I think using the small sprite ones is a bit clishé [sp.] if you ask me. This will be alot more Custom :] Just ballparking an estimate here, but there should be around 30-40 total awards. Im trying to come up with a wide range of catogories. All the judges will fill out the form (the judging awards you cant vote for yourself) and PM it to me. From there, I'll count them up and announce them with the awards in the show which will be where I announce the winner. You may vote for anyone who was in Project Custom even if they dropped out or were eliminated....there might also be a Biggest Fan award :]

One last idea....I was thinking of holding the awards show on a Chatbox or some kind of instant messageing chat thing, so that it'll be like a live thing.....that'd be really cool I think. I'd like to hear some comments on that, like where we could do it, if you would participate, etc etc. Of coarse I'd post all the results in a post here afterwords, but it'd be cool to have it live so that there'd be some suspence. So lemme know what ya think.

Well there's major spoilers for everyone... :p 30+ awards?! Wow.

I don't mind helping you with cutouts, they don't take a lot of time.

A live thing doesn't sound like a bad idea, exept that some people might not make it because of time zones or other stuff, but they could always see after. Would we be able to do that sort of thing in the PB chatroom? As you know, I'm probably not about to go and get an IM. I've never been in the chatroom either so excuse any ignorance I may have about that.

I don't blame you for occasionaly not making your own BG's. I do it sometimes too, it ultimtley comes down to how good it can make the banner look.

The Beach Chatroom is filled with Mods and Noobs....its hard to even get good discussion there. A chatbox might be allright if I can set it up and give everyone a link. I'll set it for a time that everyone can make it, hopefully.

Is it just me or was that completly hypocritical......like I said, even if you cant be on you can still catch the results right after its over. Hopefully we can get 80% of the people there and then the idea would work.

Hey guys, sorry I wasn't able to get the scores in on time. Stuff came up, so... yeah. Life goes on.

But!

It's the fanfic challenge now. Ohhhhhh yeah. This is what I've been waiting for. I most definitely will not miss scoring these. I am going to be tough in my scores... this is the one area where I know I know what I'm talking about ;)

[plug]If you want some examples of flawless grammar and what a totally awesome story looks like, check my story found in my signature.[/plug] Just remember, 800-1000 words, and I know I'll be checking the length myself.

I'm psyched. Let's see some good stories. :D

Yep....everyone can attend. The chatbox will be public so hopefully I can find a time where most people can make it.....even if most dont show, It will be cool for the people that do.

I think this challenge will appeal to more judges as most are fanfic writers. Im not sure if Im going to let Max judge this challenge if he does make a return....I think hes let us all down :/
