Southern California Regionals (19-20 Jan 2013)

Considering the fact ages 11-12 are preteen, and Seniors is ages 11-14, only about half would actually be considered preteens. Just me nitpicking though.

Eh, while I naturally didn't consider myself at the time, I feel like 13 is still a very preteen age and 14 is borderline... It depends on the maturity of the person, but really I'm just nitpicking myself, aren't I?

Oh, and since my birthday is in January, I was 15 for a good half a year in seniors... I was getting annoyed being the oldest in the division, I like Masters so much more.

I have a few styles of the same deck that I can choose, and it's difficult.

This is my 800th post :)

I can't believe i hadn't found this :p. I will definitely be there but haven't decided on a deck yet. And osnap, DNA's judging.

I just got confirmed as a judge. If ya'll want to meet me, I'll be walking around with my judge shirt. I have long, black hair, and I'll probably be wearing a hat. Hope to see you all at regionals :)

...You're a floater? So am I.
...Oh dear.

Why are all the masters (save Meaty) judging? I would have liked to play some of you guys on the side.

And why do you people keep leaving me off of your lists of Masters?
But yeah, I get your point.

We all have our individual reasons. For me, I'm tired of the game, but I want to help others enjoy the game as I once did. Don't worry... there are plenty of masters to play against.

That being said, I have a very similar record at regionals to Rummage. I've gotten T4, T4, T8, T2, T2 at so-cal regionals...pretty good runs. Meh... I'll be having fun with what Imma be doing.

See you at the queen mary!

I have my reasons too. Here's a few of them:

~I prefer judging to playing, mostly because it takes a lot of the stress off of playing, and I can share my knowledge with others
~I get fed during the course of the day and get to leave with packs as compensation, which is always fun
~I get to interact with all of the players, rather than just my opponents
~Do you have any idea how difficult it is to do well in the Masters division around here? There is, at minimum, 200 people in the Masters Division. I just can't do it, not with the way I play the game now.

This is exactly why if I go this time around, it'll be for kicks and giggles. Just watch me bring home 1st place though. HA!

So, I am in need of a Foil Great Ball (Boundaries Crossed) for Regionals. My sister's deck is 1 card short of being all shiny and whatnot! If anyone can lend me one... it would be greatly appreciated!

Foil BCR Great Ball? I think I actually might have one of those lying around! It'll take me a while to find, but I'm 95% sure I still have it!
I'll let you know the day of the event (tomorrow) if I found it (and if I did, I'll have brought it with me).

I have one but I don't consider Great Ball playable and therefore didn't bring it.

Anybody else staying at the Weston? I'll be headed up tomorrow, and thought we might have some fun games after the tournament.

Decided not to play Ho-Oh some time ago. Was talking with my mom at the hotel room and said I hadn't decided a deck.
She said that I would "find some inspiration soon."
As she said this I looked at my tin. Darkrai and Mewtwo were facing me.
Guess what I'm playing.
