Removing Ganon is a HUGE no-no, though, why not go ahead and remove one of the most awesome final bosses in history. Giving a sword, on the other hand, is a must. Seriously, what's he doing without a sword anyway?

Replacing him with vaati is still a no, Vaati doesn't even come close to the awesomeness that is Ganondorf. And you'd really dare seperate Falcon from his father? :O

But yeah, taking Ganondorf out would be just about as bad as taking Bowser out, for those who know their Legend of Zelda.

The could have taken him out and replaced him with one of the Final Fantasy characters. That would have been cool. It would have been awesome if they had brought Shadow from FFIII into the frey.:)

Smash Bros was meant to be a series of games that consisted of ONLY 1st party characters. Snake and Sonic are only in because of popular demand. Putting in more 3rd party characters would ruin the concept further.

Plus, Ganondorf and Sephiroth don't get along. :p

Wind Waker Ganon? He'd be bottom tier for sure. If the game he appeared in is anything to go by, all you'd have to do to beat him is press "A".

Yes, but it takes a long, long time to get to that "A". :p

Having 2 swords is just too good.

It would not have been a 3rd party character because FFIII was made for the SNES back in 1993 I think.:)

3rd party means that it is made by a company other than nintendo. Metal Gear Solid was made for the Game Boy Color, but was produced by a different company.

Final Fantasy = 3rd party

Paper Mario is very easy to do (especially with the diverse range of attacks and options he's been given so far, he wouldn't have to be similar to Mario in any way). My only objection to him being in would be the similarity to Mario as far as character design goes. But if both Toon Link and Link both get to be in, I see no reason for Paper Mario to be left out.

Nah I don't thunk that they will do it, it wouldn't really work. I think he would be too much like Mario. Bowser jr would be good though (Me and my big mouth) :p

If we're making up character ideas here, how about Zant? He's my second favorite boss. He's insane, so the boss fight was enjoyable.

Nah I think that Dixy Kong would be very bad (Sorry Pokechamp I think I gave them another Idea). But when SSB are desperate I'm sure that they would make another Kong in it, I mean i thought Diddy Kong wasn't going to work, but hey he's alright.
