Hey its Juliacoolo! im a bit new to these fourms but i would be a valuable strategic to this website. I go to alley cat games for my league and are one of the best there. My proffesor heather said that she met you (WPM) at worlds in florida. She is also a mod on pokegym. I have been playing pop for 7 years. And I have many startigec atributes. I also want to be a Strategists, and yes, I'm a newbie in these forums ... but I'm one of the best player in Germany, Senior Division, I attend at the World Championships ... My Ranking is atm really the best, look at the Global Ranking Senior Division, and my Name would be the second ... and I only played two Tournaments. I can build Decks with nearly every Card ... and I think, an European-Thinking-Guy is not the worst, or am I wrong?
 
I would love to try sooo bad, but I dont think I could spend to much time here, :(

I mean I could do at least probably 1 hour a week, but probably no more than that,

I think that Battle Roads, Cities, States, Regionals, Nationals, and Worlds are better to brag about. Prereleases are luck based, though it might indicate how fast you can build a good deck.

Your spelling is off actually. You make few grammar errors.

Due to the fast speed of this current format, if Garchomp is massively played, so would G/G...
It's not. Too many cards out speed Garchomp.

I still don't undestand what is wrong with my grammar. Was this sentance bad?
 
It is grammar AND spelling. Your grammar is fine, but your spelling isn't quite as good. BTW you can't even spell sentence correctly.

Also if you are accepted you will work in a group with other selected strategists to write articles about current cards and decks in the format. It is difficult work and you need to have a decent grasp on the metagame. I don't know you, but from what I've seen it doesn't look like you do.
 
Juliacoolo, I'm sorry if I sound discouraging, but I don't think you should have entered an application. Sorry if it sounds mean or off topic, but strategists need to be more well known AND have good grammar/spelling. Hukedonanime, you might want to think over what I said to Juliacoolo. I'm sorry if I am sounding harsh or mean, but it's what I and possibly others think. I think that you should have at least 100 posts and even that's a stretch. :( Once again for the last time, I hope I didn't sound too harsh.
 
Hmmm, I see a lot of rookies here..hope this has a good ending, because if everybody who applied is going to be strategist, then I guess the status of strategist won't be that special and it used to be when I and I think 6 others where strategists a year or longer ago.
There'll have to be a huge shifting I think.

Oh. Heaps of people *ALWAYS* apply. And this round of recruiting isn't much different. Only a handful are going to get picked. I wouldn't worry too much about the program becoming "not special" and "lame".

Sorry but where did it say that strategists need to be well known in order to APPLY. I hardly think whether I'm well known or not has anything to do with the quality of my work. It's sad how you assume that I shouldn't apply based on how many posts I have.

And to be perfectly honest, after reviewing some of your previous posts and threads, I don't think I'm the one that you should be worrying about...

It's not anybody's place to tell others if they have a chance or not, but seriously, if your a rookie and you have one post and we have no sense of your attitude or card skill, chances are your not going to be accepted.
 
After reading a few posts in this thread, one question comes to mind. Unless I'm interpreting completely wrong, what happened to the old group of strategists?
