Have a suggestion for PokeBeach.com? A comment? Anything concerning the website that is your opinion? Ideas for projects for the main website? Ideas for the forum? Kind comments? Suggestions for WPM, or a kind hint to improve something he does wrong? Post it here.

I Have a question. I don't want it to look bad though and sound bad. Why are you strict with your rules now? I am just wondering because I make mistakes when I am typing sometimes and I don't notice them right away and I am a bit slow on noticing things sometimes?:)

For a long time, I have not been happy with how this forum has become more "noobish." Writing is a skill you NEED in life - if you are excellent at it, you will go far. If you are going to write a post for Pokemon, use it to practice for school so you can improve your writing while doing your hobby. It just doesn't make any sense to not take 2 more seconds to make your sentences correct. It makes you sound stupid, too. If you take time to correct your sentences (it really does not take long), it will begin to come naturally, and you will be so far ahead of everyone else in your grade from practicing everyday that their writing will look junky to you (not to pick on Serebii, but come on, he must type without looking at the keyboard or reading what he says - is THAT how you want to sound when you submit a paper IRL?)

Also, I don't like how people are afraid to express their opinions here. Why are you all afraid of telling what's on your mind? Do I look like the kind of person who would ban you for disagreeing or saying something I don't believe in? I'm not like Serebii and some other people. :p You only need to be afraid if you are going to say something offensive and not constructive.

I know you are not. but I am a bit slow and it takes me longer to catch the mistake and I just edited one of my posts I made last week. I do the best that I can. Please don't be hard on me if I do make a mistake. Thank you.:)

You're refering to me. Well, I was afraid that you would ban me, since someone commented on the site's layout and you tempo banned him. But, you did not ban me, since I did elaborate on what I wanted to say, unlike the person who only said that the layout sucks, and did not say how it sucked. Well, IMO, there should be some sort of word editor, something that MS Word has, like those in-built machines that checks one's spelling, sentence structure, etc. Maybe at every new reply page, there is a button which once we click, all our typo errors and identified? This way, it helps PokéBeach Forums look more 'mature'in the sense that everyone who wants to speak properly can express his thoughts well.

I use Firefox as an internet browser and it has that basically inbuilt into it. It tells me when I make a spelling mistake and I can easily fix it but it doesn't seem to do anything about grammar. Now apart from that I really don't see why Pokebeach should go out of its way for members by installing spell-checkers when the members can just do that themselves. All that is being asked is for people to pay more attention to spelling and grammar instead of just rushing a messy post.

I just thought that it would be a great idea, since it gives newbies no excuse to have bad spelling and grammar. Well, if WPM can find something like this, I see no reason why to prevent from installing it into PokéBeach Forums.

Or you could know i the spelling wrong by using Microsoft Word..
You just made a spelling error there: i supposed to be capital.

Argh! I'm mini-modding. So here's a suggestion: Edit the rule on spelling and grammar a little to clarify that members would not be banned for making errors.

WPM: Why don't you add the forum "Statistics" too. And also I still see many people being "noobish". Why, when they register, send them an e-mail with the Noobnerd's Newbie Guide. I think that will help.

WPM I think I found some of typos in the "PokeBeach.com Forum Rules - Everyone Must Read and Understand Before Posting" thread in your first post. Some of your sentences didn't start with capital letters and some of them ended with a question mark even though I think you intended them to have a period like:

  • If you are a child, please review the below rules with your parents before proceeding to post. There are no excuses for not understanding the below rules ? if you have a question, ask in this thread
  • 8. Post only in relevant forums. Do not devote entire posts or threads asking Diamond and Pearl questions in the Wi-Fi forum ? use the Diamond and Pearl forum. The same logic applies for all posts. There are forums for different categories and descriptions of what you should be discussing in forums ? read them and learn them. Multiple infractions will result in a temporary ban.
  • 10. If you are new to our forums, it is HIGHLY suggested and recommended that you read the "Information for Newbies & FAQ" guide now or if you ever have any questions about these forums. It contains the most common questions people ask on PokeBeach?s forums. Oh, and did we forget to mention that if you ask one of the questions already answered in the thread more than once, you will be temporarily banned? Read it.

I hope you don't take this offensively, I just want to help, and just tell me if my corrections are wrong okay?:D

The character encoding for the forums are messed up. I used commas where those question marks are now. Hopefully that can be fixed, soon.

What about the page stretching rule? Is there one? If not will there be one? I can see the page stretching down but not sideways.:)

Well...I have one or two suggestions for this site. Im curious, why did you make the forum "Other Games" when there is already a "Game Corner" I'm just asking I don't mean for you to remove it if that forum was requested. Anyway, I think you did a great job on making the banner.

About the spelling, I got a cool suggestion. Everybody download Google Toolbar and use the spellcheck. Like me and Abhorsen are using spellcheck.
