I have some questions.
Are you not doing trade evos?

Since it requires interaction outside the bounds of the Wonderlocke, I had planned not to. I'm not sure if it would actually count as cheating, but it seems against the spirit of the restriction.

Are you going to be doing any in-game trades (assuming you get the right pokemon from WT)?

I'm not opposed to it in theory; if I have the requested Pokémon when I come across the traders I may or may not. Post-Game trades I'll probably do since they don't require a specific Pokémon and I do plan on doing some Post-Game content (like catching Mewtwo at the very least, probably the other legendaries, too)

RE: Team Rocket's Revenge! A Wonderlocke - Chapter 2

I don't see it as cheating. :p
Maybe if you could only evolve them after they reached a certain level?

"(...)
(yeah, right, as if that brat could ever actually accomplish anything) (...)
Congratulations, twerp, you've now caught a dumb rodent (...)
the more money I'd have available for new clothes once I reached Lumiose City."

That's the spirit!!!!!! Oh Athena I really must thank you, your writing is filling my "mature & serious T.Rocket" needs!

"a cute little Ralts"
The bright side is that Riolu and Ralts won't rebel (since thay can't!) after sensing your aura and emotions! XD

"The all-female team continues "
Well, it does fit you since your former nickname was Artemis and now it's Athena so having an Amazon gang isn't farfetched. :p

PS: I can't "like" you posts because It would appear that yesterday I've exceeded the limits of how many of them I can do per day.

I guess that's something to consider. According to online Nuzlocke rules, trading evolutions are something of a "grey" area to users.

Alright, I'll allow it, but since it makes things easier, I'm going to add another "restriction" to myself as well to counter-balance it a bit. Rules Updated! :D It's mostly just making "official" what I was more or less going to do anyway, but still, it's now official. :p

Also, a wild update appears!

Chapter 3: Viola and the Santalune City Gym

I awoke the next morning, refreshed and rested after a long night's sleep. After checking on my Pokémon, I decided to investigate the city for a bit before I resumed my travels.

Right outside the Pokémon Center, however, I already had to make a detour. A Kalos Boutique, right here! I know my funds are limited, but I couldn't help but try on each and every hat and accessory. Although it pained me, I restricted myself to only buying a single hat, a lovely large white cap, and a large pink flower to grace it.

Dressed in my new couture, I resumed my wanders around the city, marveling at the sites and taking lunch in a small café. Kalos is such a wonderful region, the people so friendly and charming. Of course, it helps that I can spend some time away from James and Meowth. Don't get me wrong, I love them like brothers, but a girl can get tired of being constantly surrounded by buffoons. It was also nice to simply... live normally for a bit. While sitting on a terras outside, sipping a cup of tea, I could almost forget my hectic life as part of Team Rocketm and truly imagine myself living as a regular trainer.

My dreams were quickly dashed when I came across another building in the city: the Santalune Gym.Despite temporarily running a Gym once, I'd never challenged one, and the thought filled me with dread. Sure, I'd beaten up a few trainers on my way here, but they were just schoolkids, young enough that they didn't even deserve to have Pokémon of their own, let alone training them. Even Giovanni didn't believe James and I would actually be able to succeed in challenging the gyms, but... I have to try.

Rather than rush in blindly, I decided to spend the rest of the day training. To the east of the city was a short, grassy route, and there were some trainers idly about that seemed like they would at least give me a bit more of a challenge than the preschools. I managed to beat one before my transporter started buzzing. Another Pokémon from HQ! With 5 Pokémon at my disposal, I figured that I might even have a shot at facing the gym, and I eagerly open the Pokéball as soon as it was sent to me, a Starly.

I'll admit, I wasn't impressed with the little bird Pokémon at first, but Starly was a trooper. He quickly began learning from the other Pokémon, and by the time I was done with all the challengers on the route, he was holding his own, easily taking down Pokémon all by himself. Well done, Starly, you've proved yourself.

I decided we should all rest up and get an early start at the Gym first thing in the morning, so I spent a relaxing evening at the Pokémon Center, finding out what I could about the Gym and learning more about Pokémon in general. The fat twerp had shown his face earlier at the Center, but I hadn't seen any of the others, not even James. I expected Ash at least to challenge the Gym, but if he was here, he was keeping his distance. Thoughts of beating Ash head to head in a fair Pokémon battle were flitting through my head as I drifted off to bed.

The next morning, I showed up at the Santalune City Gym first thing in the morning after a quick breakfast of coffee and a croissant. I nervously entered the doors, giving a terse nod to the greeter, and sliding down the pole to the darkened depths of the Gym, landing on a sticky spider web. Ugh, what is this stuff going to do to my shoes?! On top of my nerves, I was no also forced to fight against bug goo getting all over my clothing. Worst Gym ever.

I started out with Fennekin against the first trainer, hoping her Fire attacks would be useful against the bugs. They were, but she began to get injured herself, so I soon switched her out, relying on Onix to barrel through the rest of the trainers' Pokémon to the Leader, Viola, a cheerful, obnoxious woman.

Between the humidity of the room and my own anxiety, I was sweating bullets by the time the battle started, and anxious for this whole experience to be done. She started out with a Surskit and I opened with Starly, who was fresh from his resting overnight. Surskit got in a few quick moves, but Starly beat it soundly with its Wing Attack. Next was her powerful Vivillon, a level higher than any of my Pokémon. I swapped back to Onix for her defenses and took the Vivillon out with a Critical Rock Tomb.

My first Gym Battle, and I was already a winner!

Viola congratulated me on my win, giving me both a badge and a TM for my efforts. Thanking her kindly, and glad to be done, I ran up the stairs as fast I could, getting away from the dank basement full of bugs and back to the Pokémon Center where I could heal my Pokémon up and relax before starting back out on my journey.

Fennekin - Lv. 10
Riolu - Lv. 11
Onix - Lv. 13
Ralts - Lv. 10
Starly - Lv. 11

Highlights/Notes/Thoughts:

Awwww, Starly's a male. :< Jessie's thoughts on first receiving it mirrored my own; I didn't expect it to be much use, but on the contrary, it leveled quickly and was a viable attacker earlier on. It also managed to learn Wing Attack right before I entered the Gym.

I was a bit nervous entering the Gym, since I knew I was underleveled compared to Viola's Pokémon, but I really didn't want to spend more time leveling because boring, and I knew I had a good type advantage with Fire-, Rock-, and Flying-type moves on 3 of my 5 Pokémon. Fennekin did get hurt early on, but other than that, the rest of the Gym was a breeze.

EDIT: Forgot to mention this when I first posted this up, but Starly was actually originally my first double. Before I got him, I'd received another Fennekin, which would have been nice since it had Magician, but OH WELL.

RE: Team Rocket's Revenge! A Wonderlocke - Chapter 3

Hey, I need to take the time to play and post when I get it. :p I didn't actually think I'd have any time to play in the evening, but hubby was coding, so I just grabbed the 3DS.

RE: Team Rocket's Revenge! A Wonderlocke - Chapter 3

I'm having so much fun with this playthrough that I can't help but work on it faster than I'd originally intended, hope you guys don't mind. :p

The road to Lumiose City and Kalos's Professor
A heal up and quick snack and then I was back on the road, ready for anything. My win against Viola really had me pumped, and I excitedly roller skated through the City with the skates I managed to snag from a trainer earlier. I was been more successful the past couple days than I've ever felt before in my life, and I was eager to move on.

At the gate, I was stopped by a woman who claimed to be a sister of the Gym leader. She seemed impressed with what I've accomplished for my age, so my disguise must be working well, and she also gave me some complicated machine. I didn't know what to do with it, so I just thanked her and shoved it in the bottom of my purse. Soon she was gone, and I continued on my way.

I'd barely left the city when I felt my transmitter begin to buzz. I ducked into the flowers next to the path and pulled it out, excited to see my new Pokémon, a Froakie who only seemed to respond to the name Keromatsu. Huh, weird. I'm not used to calling Pokémon by a different name, but I supposed I would get used to it with time. With Keromastu in my team, I finally had a full compliment of 6 Pokémon, and I felt like I could take on anything!

The route to the next town was lovely, filled with flowers and sculptured hedges. Fro- er, Keromatsu took to the team easily, and I took out the trainers and wild Pokémon that we came across on the path. The trainers were beginning to be older and tougher, but none were able to take me down. With each battle, my confidence grew. And soon, so would my Pokémon.

I had just taken down another dumb schoolkid when my Starly began to glow. Could it be... an evolution? Indeed, Starly had evolved into Staravia! Of course, I've had Pokémon evolve before, but bug Pokémon evolve rather quickly, and Ekans's evolution required a lot of time and effort. All the battling and care that I'd shown for my Pokémon these last few days... does this really help Pokémon to evolve so much?

In front of a gatehouse at the end of the path, I was stopped by a pair of weirdo trainers. They may have been strange, but they did give me some information on the new Fairy-type and a TM, both of which were useful, and offered to show me to Professor Sycamore's lab. I would get to meet him soon after all! I quickly allowed them to show me to the Lab and followed them into the gatehouse...

... and then out into the city of my dreams, Lumiose City! The shopping, the fashion, the restaurants, the shopping! I couldn't believe I was finally here. I must have looked like a silly tourist, gazing up at the tall buildings in front of me. But then the girl, Sino, was leading me off towards the lab and I followed behind her, marveling at the sites as I skated down the path towards the large lab building. Sino said the Professor couldn't wait to see me and I swooned. As the elevator rose towards the third floor, I quickly checked my make-up and exited out onto the third floor like a princess.

In front of me was the shockingly handsome complete with his dashing hair, cute whiskers, and... tail sewed onto the back of his lab coat? He led me into his office, thanked me for coming, and introduced himself... as Professor Dedenne.

"Oh, well, but," I stammered, trying to catch my voice, "I thought you were called Sycamore?"

"Oh, yes, Augustine Sycamore is my name, but I prefer to be called Dedenne," he explained, shaking his tail. "I just love that cute little Pokémon!"

My dreams, immediately dashed. The man I'd been yearning towards, and had a crush on for so long... was a furry obsessed with Dedenne. I resisted the urge to facepalm and put on a wide, smiling face. if I ignored the tail, at least he was still cute. He inspected my Pokédex and told me about how he decided to give me a Pokémon because he'd heard about my mother moving here. Good, that meant our cover story was circulating properly and I let out a sigh of relief.

Soon, Ash and James also arrived, and I was hit with my second surprise of the day. Professor Syc... Professor Dedenne wanted to have a Pokémon battle, with me? I hesitatingly agreed, and the battle was on. At first I was nervous fighting a Professor, but even in just a few days, battle instincts were already beginning to take over in my mind and soon all I was seeing were the Pokémon before me and the strategies flowing through my mind. I recognized all of his Pokémon as being popular starter Pokémon in Kanto, and couldn't help but be jealous of the Bulbasaur, a Pokémon I'd always wanted.

Regardless, I beat him soundly, and as a reward for my victory... he offered me one of the Pokémon! I was so surprised and happy, I eagerly reached for the Bulbasaur Pokéball. Finally, I would be able to have a Bulbasaur of my own! Because I already have 6 Pokémon in my party, I was forced to send one into storage, so I waved goodbye to Onix; she was a strong, defensive member of my team, but I just had to have the Bulbasaur.

Prof. Dedenne also gave me a strange item to go with my Bulbasaur, a Venusaurite. As the other twerp trainers joined us, he started talking about Mega Evolutions and I quickly flipped on the hidden recording device I had been provided with and listened intently. Apparently Dedenne himself knew very little about it, but he did admit that the stone I had been given was, indeed, one of the very Mega Stones that Giovanni had asked me to acquire! He also said that Camphrier Town might hold some additional clues, so I made a mental note to go there as soon as possible.

After that, he gave some speech about differences and toleration and friendship, but I kind of tuned him out, instead inspecting his fine body while making plans for for what kind of shopping I wanted to do next. Soon, we were free to go, and I ran off to quickly put my shopping plans into action!

Fennekin - Lv. 13
Riolu - Lv. 13
Ralts - Lv. 13
Staravia - Lv. 14
Keromatsu (Froakie) - Lv. 13
Bulbasaur - Lv. 10

Highlights/Notes/Thoughts:

First of all.... my apologies to Dedenne for turning you into a furry professor. :p When you first mentioned that you'd like to be Professor Sycamore my first thought was "Professor Dedenne, eh?" and I immediately pictured Sycamore dressed in a Dedenne suit; of course, he already has those whiskers! I ended up trimming down the outfit to just adding the tail to his labcoat, but the entire idea was so hilarious to me that I just had to run with it. :D I hope you're amused by it at least.

I kind of have the feeling that Jessie would have no problem sending a Pokémon partner to the PC, especially at this early stage of the mission where she hasn't had much time to grow attached to them as sees them more like cute tools. On the other hand, it was a hard choice for me, but I ended up choosing Onix because I felt she would lose her effectiveness quicker than the others, even evolving her would require me to wait until I reached the Pokéball Factory. So, have fun keeping that PC box warm, Onix. <3

RE: Team Rocket's Revenge! A Wonderlocke - Chapter 3

I just wanna got to a shop and buy one of the games! :p
Furries also deserve the spotlight. At least he didn't ended up as Bill, in the body of a Clefairy.
The name Keromatsu always takes me to Ash's Froakie and those shut "Brock eyes" of his.

PS: I'm not sorry for Onix right now. Jessie is posing as a rookie trainer and in the anime only strong women have an Onix (I can't say the same about actual vgame players because I don't know). Either as Jessie or as a trainer, Onix doesn't fit, unlike Steelix (being a metal snake) but even then it wouldn't be that much.

Same here! :D I'm getting to know the Japanese names for a lot of Pokémon now that I'm watching XY in subs, ans Ash's Keromatsu was the first thing I thought when I saw the Froakie I'd gotten was Japanese. :p

I don't think I mentioned this anywhere in the write-up, but he's Protean, too, which is pretty cool.

Yeah, this was something I also kept in mind when I was thinking which Pokémon to box. According to summaries of her character, even though she seems to be associated in the fanbase with Poison-types and snake Pokémon, she herself has shown a strong desire for "adorable" and feminine Pokémon, so I try to remember this when thinking about how she approaches which Pokémon she likes. As much as I, personally, love Onix, it's not particularly cute or feminine, or fit her tastes in other ways. :p

Where are you Dedenne? You so need to see this.
Love your writing! And it's good to see that up until now, you haven't cried. Too bad your Ralts is female though; Shadow Sneak Gallade is awesome.

RE: Team Rocket's Revenge! A Wonderlocke - Chapter 3

Yeah, I'm sure at some point I'll lose a Pokémon to a lucky crit or unexpected move, but I've managed to luck out so far. I've had a few close calls, but nothing's been knocked down (or even gotten low enough to give me evil music, thankfully; I would probably panic if that happened).

RE: Team Rocket's Revenge! A Wonderlocke - Chapter 3

I'm too scared to color it. RAW-RAW-RAW is the best!!!

Oh well. It'll be waiting until you reach the factory I suppose. Steel is awesome typing for nuzlockes.

RE: Team Rocket's Revenge! A Wonderlocke - Chapter 4

Gah, I keep forgetting to update the OP; you guys ought to remind me if I post a new chapter and I forgot to link it and update the title. >___>

Fletch/James and I had a practice battle earlier today; I'll post that up as an Omake chapter tomorrow. :p

RE: Team Rocket's Revenge! A Wonderlocke - Chapter 3

A couple days ago, Fletch/James and I had a "practice" battle, so I thought I would write it up as an Omake chapter. :D Due to the nature of the Wonderlocke, and the fact that our characters are different people in other games, these battles aren't canon, but we thought it would be a fun thing to do regardless. :p

Wish I would have recorded our teams. Mine are still at the levels listed in my last chapter, but I don't remember his levels, aside from the Lv. 19 Starly. I'll try and record them in the future. I went into this knowing that I would be at a distinct level disadvantage, but had fun nonetheless. :)

EDIT: Fletch provided the levels for me (at least most), so I've edited them in:

Fennekin - Lv. 13
Riolu - Lv. 13
Ralts - Lv. 13
Staravia - Lv. 14
Keromatsu (Froakie) - Lv. 13
Bulbasaur - Lv. 10

Chespin - Lv. 15
Fletchling - Lv. 13?
Ferroseed - Lv. 15
Azurill - Lv. 12
Starly - Lv. 19
Illumise - Lv. 13

James is issuing a challenge!

I laughed as I faced James across the battlefield, eyes glinting. "Are you sure you want to do this? I've been steaming everyone we've fought so far on this journey." Despite my bluster, I was actually a bit nervous. I knew James had trained longer than I had for his gym battle, and I also had just received my Bulbasaur, who was currently untrained and untested, and not as strong as my others yet.

Whether he saw through my bluff or was simply confident himself, James simply smirked and held up his first Pokéball. "I'm ready whenever you are."

We both through our first Pokémon. I started with Fennekin and he started with his Fletchling. With its fire resistance I didn't have any particularly strong attacks and Fletchling started with the initial advantage, pummeling Fennekin with tackles into the red. However, Fennekin managed to get off a critical Ember, knocking out the Fletchling and putting me into a very slight lead

For his second Pokémon, James chosen Azurill and I quickly withdrew Fennekin, not trusting its remaining 3 HP to a potential water attack. Instead, I sent out my Bulbasaur who absorbed the coming Water Gun like a refreshing shower. James withdrew against and sent out his super powerful Starly, though Bulbasaur still managed to Leech Seed it and regain the few HP he had lost from the Water Gun attack. However, Starly knocked out Bulbasaur the very next round with a strong Wing Attack.

Hoping to take advantage of Starly's low special defenses I sent out my Ralts next, though it was out-speeded and one-hit KOed. As a desperation move, I sent out my own Staravia. It was lower leveled than the Starly, but I hoped the stat gain from its evolution might help even the board. I winced and closed my eyes, expecting the rest of my team would likely fall against this beast, but Staravia managed to pull of a OHKO of his own with Double-Edge.

James's next Pokémon was Ferroseed. I knew it would be a bitch to take down, so I let Staravia whittle down its health, though it was soon KO'ed by a Rollout. With a cross of my fingers and a small prayer, I sent out my almost-dead Fennekin and managed to knock the Ferroseed out with a single Ember.

I didn't have much time to cheer, however, as James sent Azurill back out. Instead of switching out again, I decided to get off a final Ember on it before Fennekin was KO'ed and I pulled out Riolu. James switched out to his Illumise, GUR, and so began the longest part of the entire battle.

GUR apparently had no attacking moves, and the only real attacking move Riolu had was Quick Attack. GUR kept lowering Riolu Attack, whereas Riolu kept Quick Attacking over and over. This lasted for longer than I would like to admit to, and I sat back and filed my nails while the two Pokémon went at it. When my self-manicure was done and Illumise will had over half of its health left, I finally gave up and switched to Keromatsu, hoping to bring an end to this long, derpy battle.

Rather than peacefully accept the KO, however, James swapped out to his Chespin, so I cursed and switched back to Riolu. He manages to withstand Chespin's attack with a single HP remaining and lives long enough to give out a final Quick Attack before being knocked out for good. With a sigh, I swap back to Keromatsu, my final Pokémon. I manage to get off a Pound to use Protean to change my typing before Chespin gets off an attack, and then it's simply a Rollout vs. Pound match until Kermoatsu collapses from exhaustion.

It was done, James was the winner. :<

James magnanimously came over to shake my hand after the match, but I couldn't help but pout. "You know the only reason you won was because all of your Pokémon were overleveled compared to me," I replied with a sneer, turning around on my heels and stalking off to find a Pokémon Center to heal my poor babies. James would feel the heat when we have a rematch; the next victory would be mine!

So, there we go, first battle done. :p I'll post a regular chapter up sometime later today probably. :3

For anyone interested, here's the notes that I took of the battle as it was going on:

- Fennekin vs. Fletch start
- Fletch had the upperhand with tackle, but Fennekin pulled off the win with a crit. Ember \o/
- James sent out Azurill, switch to Bulba, James switch to fudging Lv. 19 Starly, ohko on Bulbasaur with wing attack :<
- Send out Ralts, ohko'd :<
- Send out Staravia; ohko Starly with double-edge \o/
- James sent out Ferroseed, dominates with rollout, Staravia KO :<
- Send out almost-dead Fennekin, KO with Ember \o/
- James sends Azurill back out, Fennekin gets off a final Ember before being KOed with Water Gun :<
- Riolu comes out, Azurill is switched out for GUR (Illumise?)
- DERPIEST BATTLE EVER
- I give up and switch to Keromatsu
- He switches to Chespin, I switch to Riolu, WHO LIVES ON WITH 1 HP TO DELIVER A FINAL QUICK ATTACK
- Back to Keromatsu for the final Pound vs. Rollout match; Chespin wins.

JAMES IS VICTORIOUS, but only because he's a jerk with over leveled Pokémon >:| >:| >:|

RE: Team Rocket's Revenge! A Wonderlocke - Omake Battle 1

Woo, chapter 5 is here! No battling, just plot stuff and wandering around Lumiose to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Chapter 5: Exploring the Wonders of Lumiose City!

At the bottom of the stairs, that Sino was waiting by one of the counters, talking to a strange man with very large orange hair. I skirted around to try and avoid them, but I couldn't help but overhear that they were talking about me and the kids. Sino spotted me before I could sneak away and dragged me over to the man, who appeared to be an associate of the professor. He introduced himself as "Chaos Jackal"... yeah, that sure instills me with confidence. With a name like that, are you sure you really want to improve the world? I couldn't shake off "creepy crazy guy" vibes the whole time he rambled to me.

Thankfully I wasn't actually expected to say anything since he left shortly after giving me his speech. Watching him leave, Sino expressed similar concerns to my own (seriously, a guy named Chaos Jackal trying to bring beauty to the world?!), giving her a few extra cool points in my book. Soon after, everyone else came down and James was the first out the door, running off to check out some place in Kalos. Ash expressed a desire to meet up with me at a café in town (just what I wanted.... *sigh*) and the other two twerps just stood around talking so I made my leave and went to wander around Kalos and see the sights, careful to avoid the areas where the others had gone. I was beginning to feel rather tired of having a posse constantly at my back.

Immediately in front of the lab was one of the spoke streets, Vernal Avenue. I started browsing around the shops, seeing what was available. A man in a stone shop tried to sell me another Mega Stone, but I almost choked when I heard the price! I'll have to figure out where he lives so I can rob him later and send the stone to the boss. When I stopped to take a break for lunch, I chatted with a café waitress about all the different boutiques in Kalos; such fun shopping awaits! I was especially excited to see the fashions of Lumiose City, which sounded the most glamorous. Luckily, they were right next door! However, when I went to shop there, the clerk told me I wasn't fashionable enough to shop there. How rude! I turned up my nose at her and left the shop, looking for other places to spend my money.

Unfortunately, most of the city was under a blackout and it wasn't long before I found myself heading in the same direction as the twerps. James was standing in front of the Trainer Video building making googly eyes at it. I couldn't help it; the idea of making a video of myself as a trainer strongly attracted me, too, and I ducked inside the building quick to check it out. I was quickly whisked away by one of the cute gentlemen working at the studio. I picked an "elegant" style for myself and before I knew it, I was pulled away to begin filming! The videoman and I flirted back and forth the whole time (he really thought I was very charming), and the final product turned out amazing!*

Heading out again to explore more of the, I managed to dodge the red-haired twerp by ducking into a building on the opposite side of the street. To my surprise, it was a hair salon, and a stylish one! I immediately agreed to a cut and colour, trimming down to a medium length and going for a dark honey colour. The stylist and I chatted while she worked on my hair, and I reveled in the luxury of proper care on my hair for once. When everything was done, she showed me a mirror; I looked gorgeous!

Walking along the street, exuding confidence with my new style, I literally bumped into Ash standing in front of a café. Oh, yeah, the brat wanted to meet with me about something. Putting on my best fake smile, I followed him into the café. Standing against the back wall were Chaos Jackal and a movie star named Diantha, and Ash started telling me how Chaos Jackal runs a place called "Chaos Jackal Labs" (that really, really can't be good) which is apparently the company that invented the fancy-schmancy holographic communicators everyone in this region uses. Now I began to feel terrified; are they all secretly bombs or something?

I couldn't help dropping some eaves and managed to overhear a few snatches of Chaos Jackal and Diantha's conversation. Chaos Jackal seemed to want Diantha to stay young and beautiful forever (do I smell a crush?), but Diantha insisted that growing and changing was a fun part of life. I scoffed; who wouldn't want to be young forever? Chaos Jackal seemed to agree with my perspective and talked some more about keeping the world beautiful and pristine forever. Yep, there go the creepy vibes again.

As soon as I began to visibly shudder, Chaos Jackal happened to see me and came over. He introduced me to Diantha and made his way out, totally ignoring Ash's existence. Diantha made a bit of small talk and then left, leaving me alone with the twerp again. It seems the point of him bringing me here was to assign me to be his personal rival. I shrugged and accepted; without his Pikachu, I might stand a chance at beating the brat, after all. The conversation seemed to be over, so I made my way out of the café. As I left, I couldn't help but realize that neither Jackal nor Ash had commented on my new hair. Sigh, men.

I spent a couple more hours seeing the sights in Lumiose, but it was beginning to get dark, so I grabbed a quick dinner at a café and turned in for the night with my Pokémon beside me. First thing tomorrow, I'd be heading towards Camphier Town, ready and eager to learn the secrets about Mega Evolution that Giovanni wanted so badly...

Team: The same; no battling or anything today.

Highlights/Notes/Thoughts:

Chaos Jackal seems perfect for Lysandre because Lysandre always did give me these creepy evil madman kind of vibes, and the name "Chaos Jackal" is just so fitting for that. :p I was tempted to make myself (as Athena) the role of Diantha, but since I'm already playing Jessie, so to speak, it seemed a bit too meta.

Also, I did choose the option to "share" my trainer video on the PSS, so if you'd like to see it, let me know and I'll add you to my Friends List!
