I feel like Sablelock and Dialgachomp are the only safe options. Anything else just doesn't have a good enough match-up to Lostgar.
 
I think I'm gonna be using Absol G Blaziken FB Umbreon.
Pros of Absol:
Looks pretty rad (for an Absol)
Lostgar's weakness
Lost world tech can be handy
Same type of NRG as Umbreon
I like using it (I don't like using Garchomp)

The only problem is that the list is way too tight, can't hardly fit everything I want to, mainly because I put a to of Honchkrows as starters.

DialgaChomp has a real good matchup against LostGar, and against a bunch of the other popular decks out there with the Trainer Lock ability. I think it's the best matchup out there against LostGar.
 
[tangent]So guys. If I can get a hold of SW PR sleeves should I break down and use 'em for States or wait till Regs/Nats?
Do you think I can keep them in good condition and use them for states and regs provided I'm careful and use them strictly for tourneys?
Does anyone know anything about the quality of weavile sleeves?[/tangent]
 
They are pretty terribad. You can make them last for a tourny, just be carful, and keep an extra pack at all time.
 
I've come to the conclusion that even with Umbreon, Sablelock just doesn't have a good enough late game against Lostgar. The problem is having to draw Pokemon from your prize cards.

The next thing I'm going to test is Dialgachomp. Do guys think that a 2-2 DGX would be good against Lostgar? I would hate to have my only DGX LZ'd if I ran the 3-1.

And a note on sleeves: Buy player's choice. They shuffle perfectly and last forever.
 
Okay, my absol thing just lost against a kingdra/donphan.
That wasn't using Kingdra LA.
I really need to practice with SP more.

I'll try Player's choice.

Someone should play me in redshark.
 
No probs. Man, I can't wait for Nats. I'm so excited. It may pull me through the next 4 months of school.

I've been considering Promogon again, because it's favorable against lostgar, it's fun, I'm good with it, and my list is perfect (IMO). I know I should be afraid of Deafen, but the NM meta is pathetic so I prolly won't see much of it. How about you?

EDIT: NVM. Sablock with Umbreon.
EDIT 2: My Sablock list needs some help. I hope some of you guys have 6P accounts. if you don't, get some, it's a wonderful website. Much less n00bs.

EDIT 4: On the next day! Added top cut to my wins/losses.
 
What do you guys think about Absol G? I think it is a fantastic Lostgar counter, cause it can OHKO every Pokemon in their deck. I need to test it, but I don't know what with. Any suggestions?
