That Deoxys is amazing! Where do you get these Japanese cards, and why are you not trading me your Japanese Electrodes and Voltorbs??? lol

Mostly eBay and a few sellers that will sell privately to me from Japan. Not to mention awhile back, my girlfriend and I opened a few boxes to get started on the Japanese TCG. If you're looking to buy boxes, HeatRotomFTW97 takes pre-orders for the latest sets. I'll keep an eye out for those Japanese Voltorbs and Electrodes though.

We need to get [smod]omahanime[/smod] to take some more pictures. :p

Haha, I figured you would have let me know if you had extra ones :p
I'm trying really hard to find websites that sell Japanese singles. I found one a long time ago when I wasn't trying to collect them, and now that I am, I cant find it anymore!

It is hard to find anyone selling Japanese singles. I tried to get a Foreign trading group started here with help from [member]NarcoticHobo[/member], but we could not get enough interest. The last attempt at a group is at http://www.pokebeach.com/forums/thread-non-english-card-traders-please-read-if-you-have-foreign-cards

My only suggestions are here, eBay, and for older cards Collectors Cache( they stopped opening boosters about a decade ago)

You can use Yahoo! Japan to buy all sorts of Japanese cards, but that requires a middleman service, which is something you should seriously research before jumping into.

Yeah, I'm just working on Ebay at the moment. I thought Japan would be fairly easy because I assumed they had a website similar to Troll and Toad where they sold singles. Guess I'm wrong haha

Wow, all of these collections are so amazing! So many cards... My collection (I used to think it was big...) seems so small now D: I might post pictures if I have time later, but there's not much to see :(

Irony of ironies that last shot was just with my phone (iPhone 4S) but otherwise I'm using a Sony STL-A35 with a DT 16-105mm lens.

That is good for singles, he has C/U unlisted and a lot of rare/holo. The promos and SR/UR cards are overpriced as usual though.

Thank you so much! Just what I was looking for :)

I had a major clean out of things in preparation for some friends coming to stay with me later today and I found one of my card suitcases (the JP card cases with the latches -- very handy) that I had struggled to find since I'd misplaced it in the personal chaos of last august. So I was delighted when I found it tonight with a nice handful of BW-P promos nestled in the top ready to sleeve for my archival folder. Including two I totally don't remember buying in the slightest but there they were.

This meant an excuse to take photos for the sake of taking photos. Just three, but of me enjoying the holo all too much.

Wow congratulations! That is a *huge* accomplishment.

I would love to complete that set one day but it really takes a lot of patience.

Is it really that hard? I can imagine the Holo's would be, but I have like most of the rest and I'm not sure how I got them lol

Generally speaking, it is difficult to find Base set in well-preserved, Mint condition.

Since the UK Print looks exactly like the 3rd Print (which is incomparable in value), it is difficult to find them, let alone in Mint condition.

RE: The Collector's Showcase: Post pictures of any type of Pokémon Collection! - *Updated 1/19/13*

I suppose I see what you mean about Mint condition. Did they only run this print for European English release?

Yea that is correct.

I believe it's technically the 8th (and final) print of the Base set printed only in the UK.

Mint condition is insanely hard to find and complete. I have some extra holos but they're not anywhere near gradable condition.

Thanks so much! I got really lucky with my set. :)
