The Collector's Showcase: Post Pictures of Any Type of Pokémon Collection!

That's good news to me! For the close relationship between Chinese and Japanese, I know nearly nothing about the Pokémon's names in English. So Japanese ones would be easier for me to recognize, while English ones are equally understandable on the cards' description. Anyway, it would be glad for myself to know more PTCG
collectors like you guys.

Do not forget , I am a collector of Japanese cards also! I live in the USA. I started with Japanese cards, since they were not yet available in English. Over the years I have bought many Japanese cards, packs, and boxes : as well as Japanese items such as plush, blankets, DVD's and deck boxes. Now, I mainly go for Japanese exclusives (promos we never get or VS set etc). As well as some Japanese versions that are slightly different (sandstorm jolteon with the white border, recent Magmortar unedited, etc).

Siuwong Chan where do you live?

Well, I live in mainland China and I only collect Japanese cards. Compared to your Pokémon theme items, my little collection would be so negligible to mention. But anyway, I will post pictures of some of my little collection. Hope to see your collections.

Have some of you guys got a Japanese "N" SR? I'm interested in this card.

There are only traditional Chinese sets available, but they're only available in Taiwan. Cards in simplified Chinese are all fake ones. So I only collect Japanese cards now.

Hi there everyone! It's my first time posting here so I do hope I havn't messed this up aha.

I recently read Viper.fox's post about other Japanese collectors within the UK so I thought I would join in the fun. I do live in the UK and recently got back a fairly large PSA order so I would like to share it with everyone here. I was going to include just what I got but if I'm showing you that I might as well just show most of my PSA collection.

Sorry if the images aren't a great fit, too large/too small. It's difficult to get that happy medium.

Enjoy.

Very nice collection of slabbed cards, indeed.

Just so nobody asks me, I have about 70% of them

Kasumi! Did you recently buy that super secret showdown- mewtwo trainer from ebay? There was 1 in Dec, I want that like burning as it is 1 of only 2 missing mewtwo tcg cards for my mewtwo collection. If you didnt buy from ebay (I think it was priced at about $7000), how did you obtain it? I hope 1 day I can get one, even if it is not mint and I don't care for graded cards. I am also after the full lucky stadium 9 card set, mcdonalds ereader mew, and mew victory orb for my collections. Some day. *sighs*

@theducktamer: Thank you very much, I really appreciate it.

@omahanime: Thanks, I have yet to see what your collection holds.

@Binx345: No, that wasn't the one that I bought. I purchased mine in December 2011. The one last December went to a collector in Australia and since then has moved hands again. I'm afraid if you are truly after one then your time is running out. If the estimated 6 copies of the SSB is true then five are currently known and stored with serious collectors. So that leaves only one copy left but it may too be with a serious collector.

Those are definitely some high end cards that you're after. Good luck obtaining them though. I too am after a Mew Victory Orb but prices have jumped considerably as Mew is very sought after. If you would like to know any more information on the SSB, feel free to message me.

@salamencetrainer34: I shall take that as a complement, so thanks. You won't find these scans any place else other than my Photobucket. Well, some of my older ones are but none of my new cards. :)

Well I tend to believe there are more then 6, if only including prototypes, test prints, and copies the creators at the Pokemon card design lab get to keep. I think I will try to get some very high quality booties made of the mewtwo super secret battle and victory orb mew. Since I may never get the real ones, orica type proxies may have to do. I would still like to know how much you paid for your 1 mewtwo super secret battle card.

But you do your entire audience a favor and make a video of yourself (show your body and face) and these cards, so we can see them in your hands? Or even some pictures of you, your whole body in pic, and holding these cards? I have learned the hard way that you can not believe everything you read and this would prove to the world they are indeed real cards in your possesion.

FYI a member on this site recently claimed to have a prelease raichu, the fabled original one. However, they were actually fibbing.

I can back Kasumi up if necessary. I know those cards are actually in their possession :p

@Binx345: I would have to urge you to please not get proxies/fakes made of these cards.

Although players do make proxies of cards all the time that is purely to get used to and make strategies based on cards they have not gotten yet. These tend to be cards which are more expensive cards that not everyone can afford straight away. However, making a fake of a card like the SSB Trainer could have major consequences. If you were to make a fake of this card it could potentially sabotage the cards reputation and value not to mention peoples own collections. Whilst most collectors can tell straight away if a card is fake or not a lot of people will believe they are real, thus more copies of this card exist, decreasing the cards value.

Bringing me on to my next topic. No, if there are more than 6 copies out there it would be along the lines of around 7, available to the public. Creatures, Inc. we believe store at least one copy of every card they have produced, and destroy every other print made. There will always be speculation as we know not everyone plays by the rules and test sheets do exist out side of the companies but we haven't seen anything like these Trophy sheets. And most likely we never will.

Taking pictures of myself with the cards may 'prove' I do have these cards, how would you know it was me in the picture? I would personally not show myself on camera for obvious reasons but if you research these cards and who has them, then you will know I am legitimate. As for the price, again if you research, you will find information out there.

@Daelum: Thanks buddy :)

@DrunkSpinda: Thank you very much. I really appreciate the kind words.

I'm sorry for hijacking this thread a bit and going off topic. Someone post a picture quick!

You're fine Kasumi. Pictures are encouraged but by no means required to post here. :)

On the topic of SSB, I can vouch for everything that Kasumi said (most people wouldn't bother to fake it).

Now if I had a dollar for every time I have heard about someone who "owns" a Prerelease Raichu.. :p
