BW/BW2 The Nuzlocke Challenge Thread

ilovemypikachu's Pokemon LeafGreen Nuzlocke Challenge!

The Team:
Flower (Bulbasaur) lv. 13 {starter}
Cute Bug (Beedrill) lv. 12 {Viridian Forest}
Chirp (Pidgey) lv. 12 {Route 3}

The Deceased:
NONE :D (hopefully I can keep it that way)

The News:
Beat Brock so easily, it's not even funny. The battle went exactly like this:
BROCK sent out GEODUDE!
Go, Flower!
Flower used VINE WHIP!
GEODUDE fainted!
BROCK sent out ONIX!
ONIX used TACKLE!
Flower used VINE WHIP!
ONIX fainted!
Leaf defeated BROCK!

So now I'm entering the route before Mt. Moon, getting attacked by trainers. I'm hoping to run into a Nidoran (whatever gender) before Mt. Moon.

Vulpix are in Mt. Pyre, but I'm pretty sure they're really rare, so good luck getting that on your first try. Same deal with Breloom in Petalburg Woods.

Ninetales isn't that good, anyway. I don't suggest using it unless you're desperate for a fire-type.

^ Ninetales is faster than Camerupt and Magcargo. I tried them both, and they really annoyed me with how slow they are. >.>

But if I had to choose between Camerupt and Magcargo, i'd choose Camerupt.

I haven't updated in a while, so...

THEY'RE ALL GROWN UP *tears* I'm still kicking myself for having really useful things die, but thankfully all these guys can mostly stand on their own. We're not quite done though, not even close. :D 6th Gym, really not scared with three of my guys being able to handle Flying types very easily. Bring it, Skyla. Carracosta easily takes down Swoobat with Crunch as he raises his Sp.Def HA. Then comes Swanna so Galvantula easily KO's it with Electro Ball. Last is Unfezant and I bring in Vanillish to finish it with Ice Beam. Piece of cake (plus I was kind of over-leveled :p). I just didn't want any of these to die. ;[

dmaster out.

Yay new Nuzkocke Challenger!

My Rules:

- You may only catch or recieve ONE Pokemon in each area, BUT you may choose which one to catch

-You may catch shinies and Legendaries, but they must be PERMENETLY BOXED.

-Any Pokemon that has fainted is considered dead and must be PERMENETLY BOXED.

-You may only use each Pokecenter/Healing House TWICE.

-All other standard Nuzlocke Rules

-This is on Pokemon Black

I will post my progress along the way, but I have not started yet. I will start later today.

What are you thinking about starting with? (It's funny, this first choice usually sets the tone of the Nuzlocke because certain Pokemon are harder to go through in-game than others. I'm looking at you Patrat. ._.)

dmaster out.

I'm probably going to start with Oshawott. I was thinking Tepig at first, but I didn't start it yet, so I still have to time to think.

Think about the decision long and hard. No do overs! (Unless you're a coward lol.)

I need to get going on my own Nuzlocke. I've only gotten the 7th Gym Badge since my last update. I barely grinded at all for the fight as well. Scrafty is just a boss, sweeping the Leader.

dmaster out.

I wound up picking Oshawott. I named him Razor. I also caught a Lillipup and named it LOLdog. I am actually not doing this anymore. I lost more than 3 times BEFORE the first gym. I guess Nuzlockes just aren't my thing.

Boddy's White Version Nuzlocke Challenge!

I'm starting a new nuzlocke challenge in White Version, and I'll just continuously update my progress here. These will be my rules.

1. Can only catch the first Pokemon in every area, route, and city.
2. Once a Pokemon is fainted it is considered dead, and must be released or permanently stored in the Graveyard box.
3. In order to keep variety in gameplay, there will be a No Duplicate Clause, stating that if I already own the first Pokemon I encounter, I may pass it up for the next one.
4. I have integrated a Repel Clause, stating that I may use Repels in order to get better Pokemon in certain areas. This aids in the capture of Legendaries.
5. All Pokemon must be named.

I chose Tepig for this Challenge.

Miss Piggy the Tepig, Lv. 6

The Tepig came out as a girl, and I didn't know what other good names there were for female pigs, but I thought that this one worked nice.

Bianca and Cheren were a breeze, no real troubles here, so I won't go out of my way to mention them.

Route 1

504.png

Scout the Patrat, Lv. 4

Was really hoping for a Lillipup, as they are 10x easier to deal with, but I guess it can't be helped. Scout comes from the novel To Kill a Mockingbird, one of my absolute favorite novels. The Patrat was a girl, so why not?

I'm going to do some grinding before I get into Accumula to face N's scary Purrloin.

I am starting a Nuzlocke challenge on my Sapphire version with the twist that I may only catch the first Female pokemon on each route and the male ones are completely irrelevant. otherwise its just the original rules
EDIT: I am using the Special gift jirachi as my pokemon for the first THREE routes in order to make it a little less hard

Hi I just joined this forum, so you'll have to excuse my noobiness. Anyway I just started my first nuzlocke yesterday (I'm not very far) and I drew this little (crappy) mini-comic to go with it. :) http://i.imgur.com/iCPI9.jpg
