The reason for your username?

This is the thread where everyone says the reason for their username. My reason for my name is because I'm lucky, I like pokemon, and I'm a girl. Combine that into a username: LuckyPokeGirl

Also, others shorten it to LPG or Lucky, so I like it.

As for my new nickname?

Why the name change now? My old name was a bit long. And there are many names that end with "poke girl" or just "girl".

And, the reason for Lucky Fire? Well, I remember when I got Mario Kart DS. What was my nickname? I thought of my old GameCube game, Mario Kart Double Dash. I remembered Mario's power-up item, Fireballs. That's how I got "Fire". I remembered that my mother told me that I was the lucky one. I took "Lucky" and combined it with "Fire", resulting in the name "LuckyFire". And for the username, I put in a space between the two words.

I was very into Sonic and Heard of Dark Sonic but it wouldn't work, so I put my initial and Dark Sonic J was born. My Short is DSJ :p
 
I'm a Guy and my favorite number is eighty-nine.

We had one of these threads more than a year ago, it was pretty good.
 
When I was 12 I wore a DNA-themed shirt for 2 weeks straight. No one could ever remember my name, but they remembered my shirt, so they called me DNA.

The name stuck. It still has.
 
My username doesn't have much of a back story. My real name is Christian but a lot of people I know and my friends call me Cris, thus my username.
 
Welll being the old-timer I am, I have had four (!) different usernames in my time here. I'll go through them all:

shaymingiratina8717: This was my username from the time I joined until July 2008. The reason I picked this name was because, at the time, Shaymin and Giratina were my favorite Pokemon, and as such just combined the two. 87 was the last two digits in Giratina's Pokedex Number, and 17 was (and is) my favorite number. Combining all four of these elements, you get this username.

The Crystal Shaymin: I had this name from July - October 2008. With Movie 11 coming out in Japan at the time, my love for Shaymin had grown, and I knew I wanted to base my new name around it. As for the Crystal part, I thought it would just sound good together, and that's how this username was born.

Yanmega Owns: This username was my least favorite, and the one I had for the least amount of time. With my fondness for Shaymin diminishing, and with Yanmega becoming my new favorite Pokemon, (probably because I was using it on my VG team and in my TCG deck at the time) I wanted yet another username, this time with Yanmega in it. It turns out the username "Yanmega" was taken, so I just decided to hastily add the "Owns" part to it, and called it a day.

Blue Thunder: By the end of 2008, I was really starting to hate my username, and when it was announced name changes would no longer be allowed at the start of 2009, I knew I needed to come up with something quick. This time, I wanted to eliminate the Pokemon references, and I was also looking for a username that didn't quite sound so...childish. I thought about it for a few days, and then the idea of "Blue Lightning" crossed my mind. I liked how that sounded, and it gave everything I wanted in a new username. With just one slight change to "Blue Thunder", I made this my new username, and it still is to this day.

If name changes are ever brought back, the only thing I would change is to shorten my name to "BT", much like many other users have had their names shortened. I wouldn't go for something totally new because, honestly, I have had this name for too long, and it's grown on me quite a bit. I really would not want to deal with all the trouble and confusion of me having a new username.
 
Well I have only had 2 usernames my whole time on pokebeach and well Rotom-Cut has been the one for very long time.

My first username when I joined Pokebeach was Lucario100. I liked Lucario alot back then and though 100 was a awesome number to go along with a awesome pokemon. Hence the username was born.

Not far to long after I got my name changed to Rotom-Cut. I like all the rotom forms alot but, Rotom-Cut was the best and sounded better than the rest too so then it stuck. I agree with Bt if I could I would shorten it to R-C.

Well, you might wonder about the zero in my username, so I'll explain.
I started off Pokemon using another username. I then decided to make my own YouTube channel after being inspired by FoxNoctom and the likes that open packs.
I tried many names, but they were either taken or sounded stupid. I tried PokeVortex, since I was aiming to make a 'vortex' of Pokémon videos since there would be a lot of them. It was free, but I went wrong in the process, sending it to the wrong place for activation. I didn't have the option to change, so I decided to make another, correct user with a 0. The name P0keVortex looked weird to me, so I made it all in capitals.
 
This is also my xbox live gamertag, my psn name, and an email.

first initial, last name, and I've had to make 3 emails so..mlouden03 lol.

My username is usually the same for everything so yeah i just thought 'why not use it again'.
 
My favorite type is the Dark-type, and Lucario is my favorite Pokemon. So much has changed since I created this account. :/

Most everyone calls me TDL, which sounds twice as better imo.
 
why? well it used to be my guinea pigs name...well how did it turn into catutie? well i used to call him cutie then my friend accidentally said caturdie once....and then i just turned it to catutie....ill let you guys scrap your brains off the wall from the mind blowing story ;D
 
Ugh. I have to explain myself now. Okay my old username on a bunch of other forums was SsAaVv for a while. Then one day I was laddering on the old Shoddy Battle server where everyone used a counter to Dragon Dance Salamence and I realized my account was stuck at ~1400. To remedy this, I had to make a moste epik alt for all eternity to shine on the leaderboard (which it didn't, the Shoddy rating system was so much better than PO is now). I saw a bunch of people named after moves like "Hydrocannon" and stuff, but I was like meh. These sound so LAME. So then I realized if you take Hyperbeam and switch the "a" with an "e" it sounds the same, and looks cooler written. Hence...

Hyperbeem

...was born from the depths of the SU Shoddy server.
 
Easy Explanation: Part of my last name.

Harder Explanation: My favorite Pokemon used to be Froslass. The prevo of that is Snorunt. Snorunt is the Snow Hat Pokemon. Ta-da!
 
On my first Pokemon game, Ruby, I had a Lv100 Swampert (who is know on Black) named Muddy, and as for the number, the it was available and I liked the ring of it. It is not my year of birth...
