BW/BW2 The Simple 5th Gen VG Questions and Answers Thread

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

Hi

I was wondering if you ev train say a chandelure and then raise it to level 100 by beating the elite four will he gain wrong ev's and I'll have to start over again?

thanks

kamil

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

If you fully EV train a Pokemon, with the EVs you want, any further training beyond that won't affect the EVs (since EVs cap at 510, and you can't receive any more than that).

Edit: ha-chachacha

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

No. Once you give it it's 510 EVs, nothing can change them, aside from the EV reducing berries. Additionally, Pokemon at level 100 can still be EV trained in this generation.

Edit: Ninja'd.

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

Regarding Deerling,

Does it change its form after it's been caught? Or does it just stay the same as when you first found it as?

And if it does change its form...then how?

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

Deerling's colour depends on the season. It should be winter now so they're going to be grey.

Strangely the ones in the battle subway seem to be perpetually in spring mode

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

I know they're gray. I'm asking if any Deerling that I've already caught are going to change color. Because so far, my Autumn one hasn't, and it's just been sitting in the box.

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

It won't change color while sitting in the box, you have to have it in your party and walk to a different area (flying doesn't work) and then it will change color

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

It's a little confusing. First, you have to have whatever Deerling you want to change in your party. Then save and SR/restart, and it should be in the correct form.

Edit: Partially ninja'd, maybe.

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

Ah, right, save with it in the party, then turn my game off and on again. It worked; thank you!

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

Is there a trainer that has a Klang and is there a trainer that has a Zweilous, and I'm looking for a Braviary, Braviary, Vollaby and a Mandibuzz.

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

Trainers with the pokemon you said can be found here:
Klang are located here: Victory Road (an Ace Trainer), P2 Lab (Scientist Dudley)

There are no trainers that own a Zweilous

Braviary, Cynthia has one, but you can't battle her in Winter.

Vullaby is like zweilous, however can be found in the wild on Pokemon Black.

Mandibuzz is like it's pre evo, but can be found in the wild on Pokemon black.
I've used serebii to find theses locations, hope it helped.

I'm unsure, but I think your first battle with her can be in any season. To my knowledge, she's normally not available for battle in Autumn, and yet she was there on my first visit.

Thanks, but I can only find one trainer at the P2 Laboratory.

You probably have, but just to make sure, you are looking in the grass south of the lab, right?

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

Cynthia's first fight is during any season. It's the rematch that is season-dependent; I think you can only rematch her once a day in spring and summer.

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

Can someone answer my question how do you Change Level and Ability on pokemon Online

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

From your Teambuilder, hit Advanced, and then Side Window. You can change them from there.

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

What should I use my masterball on? I just caught Kyurem, and I have like 1 hp left on Tornadus, so I;m not using it on him. What else should I use it on?

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

^a shiny you find.

idk that is up to you really. maybe save it for when we get keldeo or genosect

RE: The B/W Questions and Answers Thread

Or rather, a shiny that is capable of using Selfdestruct. (Oh, the stories I've heard.)
Out of principle I never use the Master Ball anymore on anything, but if you want to use it on something, a shiny would be your best bet. (I've heard countless people say to use it on a roaming Pokemon, and I can say that idea is totally ridiculous. Using it on something like Mewtwo in FRLG that could kill your whole team in nothing flat - now that I don't have a problem with.)
