Off the topic of SSE, can you unlock Mewtwo in Melee the "Play for 20 hours straight in VS mode" way by starting a VS game and pause for 20 hours?

Nope. Doesn't work like that, it has to be continuous play.

However, the time is divided by the number of controllers you have plugged in, so if you have 2 controllers it's only 10 hours, 3 controllers means about 7, and four controllers means you only need to wait for five hours. Note that this doesn't refer to the number of players (you can't put on 3 CPUs and say OKAY FIVE HOURS LOL), it refers to the number of controllers you have plugged in. If you're one guy with 3 controllers, then woot woot, time cut!

Make sure your system is well-ventilated if you're gonna do this. Just play an endless melee (timed match set to infinity) and let the computers kick you around for X hours. Then do the no contest and you'll face Mewtwo.

I'm at 98% SSE completion. There are a couple things we just can't find no matter how hard we look.

^Yeah, I'm at 99% and I can't seem to find what's wrong with some of those stages, like the ones on the Meta Knight ship.

You can also put the time on infinite, put in a couple controllers, and just turn off the tv, and leave the game on for ten hours XD

FFFFFUUUUUUUUU I left my Wii on, just in case. Oh well, I guess all that for nothing. But that definitely helps :D

Too bad I only have 1 controller ATM. I left my 3 others in FL...

We're going to have a fairly large topic about the future of Smash Bros, this time about SSB 3DS. Share your thoughts about this game. What formula changes do you see happening due to the portable console? What characters do you want to have playable? When do you think its going to come out? Anything relating to SSB 3DS can now be discussed.

Also, those who don't post by Sunday will be removed from the member list for inactivity, and will have to resubmit their application. There's your warning!

I think this game is also coming out for the wii u but I'm not sure. Anyways Im pretty sure this game should come out sometime next year. For portable consoles I'm sure it'll work given they did it with the two button wii remote(but I use the GC controller). I don't know if it's just me but I want to see a megaman character though that might be too close to samus.

It's coming out for both 3ds and Wii U. They're somehow able to connect to each other as well.

I really doubt that it will come out next year, they haven't started development yet. My guess would be an early or mid 2013 release.

I think they'll keep almost every character, but I agree with you that they'll replace Lucario for zoroark.

Smash Balls are probably returning. It's cool for showing off their animation skills and appeals to the kids that would want to buy this game.

ike is pretty much still the latest Fire Emblem guy, so I don't think so. Besides like Sothe and he's lame.

They replaced Roy. People got over it.

Also, if Kid Icarus 3D doesn't come before SSB3D, Pit won't be in.

Kid Icarus is definitely coming out before ssb3d. SSB isn't even in development, Kid Icarus is coming out around the holiday season.

Ike replaced Roy as the most recent Fire Emblem character. Ike's games aren't the most recent anymore.

I'd like to see King K. Rool from Donkey Kong in the game, as well as another Mario character, and maybe Paper Mario.

The newest Fire Emblem is Radiant Dawn, and Radiant Dawn still has Ike in it. I don't think they would be changing it. The main character is Sothe, but he's a thief and I think it would be kinda hard finding a moveset for him.
