Wait... Regice in Shuppet? I've never really heard of it, so could you please explain to me some more? Unless it is just for bringing up basics and KO'ing them, I don't really see how much Regice can help.

RE: The Storms ~ This format is ours! *Always accepting members*

Well... I've been running it since November.

It does many good things for the deck:
1) It gives you -1's. This is pretty big because it can get ride of dead cards (extra Energy, Roseanne's, ect.) and set up a Uxie drop.
2) It moves the opponents Pokemon around, allowing for an easier KO or preventing them from getting set-up, as well as sending away Mime and Tomb's

Those are only a few reasons, but I cannot really explain them all, it's just one of those "you'll have to see it to believe it" cards =/

Today I was running Shuppet Donk at league and didn't see Gliscor. I don't run Regice LA, but it could be helpful by switching a pokemon with more retreat, like I couldn't beat Dialga G and Garchomp C because of the trainer lock and he was running Bronzong G. Also, Dusknoir SF#1's Night Spin attack just locks Shuppet for turns and plus I only run two Warp Point in the deck, so Regice could be helpful to KO the weaker and less HP bench pokemon, if any.

Unless you are SO lucky, there is no way Shuppet can beat Dialga G. If they Deafen you, and then attach and Special Metal Energy, you are just about gone seeing that you really don't have a great way of doing high damage. And then Poke Turn/Garchomp C heals any damage done to Dialga G.

@boneclub: OK, I get Regice now. So it is basically to mess up with your opponent's benched basics and to get more draw from setup? Seems good, but just watch out for Luxray GL Lv.X/Gengar ;D

Luxray/Garchomp

Tier 2
Gengar
SP varients
Machamp Varients
Amphy

^^What about Plox?

RE: The Storms ~ This format is ours! *Always accepting members* *Check to see if you are on the inactive list!*

BTW I am still a little new, what IS Pl0x?

RE: The Storms ~ This format is ours! *Always accepting members* *Check to see if you are on the inactive list!*

Plox is definitely Tier one thanks to DCE. The ever-so-dreaded constant and fast power locking is just going to ruin the meta-filled Uxie, Claydol, Unown G, and Crobat G.

I personally don't think Donphan variants will be Tier one. Donphan isn't too great, since Gatr can easily tear it down with weakness. Maybe tier two or tier 1.5, but not tier one. Machamp isn't tier two either, since HGSS has PLENTY of evolution cards. I'd stick in Feraligatr in tier 1, seeing how he can be constantly doing high damage pretty quickly. Jumpluff in tier 1.5, since it has great speed but a few bad matchups, and Charizard variants in tier two. So, I would think something like:

Tier one:
-Flygon variants
-Feraligatr variants
-Dialga G variants
-Plox

Tier 1.5:
-Donphan
-Jumpluff
-Garchomp SV (non SP)
-Porygon-Z (depends on Dialga G/Spiritomb popularity)

Tier two:
-Gengar
-Ampharos
-SP variants
-Charizard

EDIT: Plox is short for Psychic Lock, the name of Gardevoir SW's Power-locking attack.

I guess that´s a pretty accurate list. What I don´t like is that some decks will be more popular than others depending on what decks are popular. Something between the lines of Feraligatr > Donphan > Ampharos > Feraligatr > Charizard > Jumpluff > Feraligatr. Aside from that, I´m not sure if Feraligatr is a Tier 1 deck by itself. What variant are you talking about (I haven´t found a very effective one yet). Anyway, would Gyarados see play with the new cards from HGSS (specially Pokémon Collector)?

I do think that gyarados would see play because of pokemon collector speeding the deck up a lot, I'd say it would be tier 2 and maybe tier 1.5. It also has the type advantage against donphan and charizard which might make it see more play, which will make ampharos see more play, which would make donphan see more play...

Jumpluff is definitely tier 1. Aside from Dialga G, it defeats everything IN tier 1. And, Feraligatr is too easily countered to be tier 1.

RE: The Storms ~ This format is ours! *Always accepting members* *Check to see if you are on the inactive list!*

tier 1 is better

Wow a little messed up IMO, Wheres the SPs? They dominated all of CCs and there is no reason why it wont continue through states and REGS. Flygon wont be TEIR 1 beacuse of GG and luxchomp. More like 1.5-2. Garchomp isnt good and it never has been so IDK where yall are thinking that it will be good. Feraligatr is ok but IDK about teir 1. Have only played roughly 20 games with it and still not sure about who to parnter it with. DialgaChomp seems like it could still roll along with GG but both obviously have their counters. Donphan is also a beast depending on it's partner, I personally like Dumbo as it has something to handly water decks. Jumpluff is TEIR 1 no doubt. If you havent played a game with a good list I suggest that you do.

RE: The Storms ~ This format is ours! *Always accepting members* *Check to see if you are on the inactive list!*

oh then charizard would be tier 1.5 and jumpluff would be tier 1

Yea its just plain to slow for this format.

Tier 1.

On a side note: I'm still somewhat obsessing over Golem ATM... I was thinking... what if you get 2 Bronzong (Stormfront) out? That's a consistent 120 every turn for 3 Energy (or 2 Energy with DCE) and it's not 2 different Pokemon (unlike Delcatty and Sandslash), so it won't hurt consistency as much. You can even run an extra Luxury Ball because you can stick it back in the deck every turn!

RE: The Storms ~ This format is ours! *Always accepting members* *Check to see if you are on the inactive list!*

Flygon won't be tier one? So getting a major speed boost thanks to DCE prevents it from being tier one? It still does have bad matchups, but definitely tier one. I really don't see anything coming up that can truly demolish Flygon, but because I'm posting this when I am oh, so tired, please correct me if I'm wrong (I do believe Porygon-Z is one of them...) Here's my corrected list:

Tier one:
-Flygon variants
-Jumpluff
-Dialga G variants
-Plox
-Gyarados

Tier 1.5:
-SP variants
-Donphan
-Porygon-Z

Tier two:
-Charizard
-Ampharos
-Gengar

Just my two cents. I put Jumpluff in tier 1.5 in the old list just because of Spiritomb and Dialga G, which we can expect to see. It's meta predicting too, so I'm not so accurate.

EDIT: Wait, how do you get Lux Ball back in your hand every turn in Golem? Delcatty returns basic energy into your hand.

RE: The Storms ~ This format is ours! *Always accepting members* *Check to see if you are on the inactive list!*

you forgot to put feraligatr variants in tier 1.
