I'm pretty sure that the Fighting Energies are used to retreat Claydol AND attack with Trapinch (I don't play Flygon, so it's IMO)

@Gliscor: How does Jumpluff go against Plox (your variant)?

Okay, I understand, and it sounds interesting. Can you guess what I run in Unlimited? xP

I would <3 if they made a Ninetales for every Energy type. It would make the game... well... idk I guess a little more flavorful :p

And np about the deck. Posts are nice to get!

I feel Nidoqueen is quite splashable, and can be included in anything needing a tech line.

You need at least 2 psychic energy in your flygon: free retreat on queen and if she needs to attack, then that as well. You always run a few energy for every type for free retreat coverage.

DCE seems to help Plox alot. I didn't pull any at the prerelease, but pulled a Typhlosion Prime. For states I don't really know what I'm running, but it might be Shuppet Donk.

if he's going straight flygon he might not just be going 4 RR/RR LV.X, he might toss in some SW for extra dmg, but I agree putting in at least 1 or 2 {P} energy could help out your nidoqueen line helps substantially, you can always get cornered at the least opportune moment's. other then that u might wanna toss in 1 or 2 more nidoqueen for that just awesome looking donphan t1 assault card. cya

P.S. not a clue, I can guess from your shuppet donk deck but being as crazy as I am I wouldn't come close.

Got back from the prerelease, went 4-1 and ended up with many cards I wanted. Many little irritating things though, like pulling a Meganium prime and Chikorita but no Bayleef, Butterfree line with no ctaerpie,a nd pulling the top of Ho-Oh LEGEND with the person next to me pulling the bottom. :p Still was a blast, and I've got another coming up next week.

I was sad not to see Ray Vin there though. :(

K I am back from the pre yay

this is what I saw and got

I pulled 3 megainuium prime I think that is the most commen prime that I saw at the pre

I pulled 2 RH DCE oh yeah
I got lots of stuff for my set
I pulled ampy prime
I entered the draft and my brother won(just split the packs)
THE WHOLE DAY I SAW THREE_FOUR JUMPLUFF and no more I hate that nobody got any
I hate meg prime I am tired of seeing so many
I won a raffle poster
It wasn't a bad day except for seeing all the car crashes from Gasparilla 3 I think

My pre-releases aren't until next week, mainly hoping for ninetails, jumpluff, dce, and many others. I have no clue what I'm playing for states, I'm thinking of playing Charizard or Plox.

It would be awesome to go to every pre-release date, giving you 4 chances to get the cards you want and getting you 4x8=32 packs, thats 320 cards!!!

no PR's for me this weekend. however out of all the stuff i heard primes are abundant and plentiful. 6 per box? and then possible 4 legend halves also. with shiny gyarados and maybe alph litho?? thats 12 amazing cards possible per box. heres my theory. by 3 packs get 1 of these. if anything it may go to 4 packs for that because of the gyara and litho but thats amazing ratios. 1:3 and 1:3.??? in this case donphan will be easy to get. so will amphy. those are going to be meta decks so this is just great.

and im not going to try and get ty, gatr, and meganium as they are in tins.

although i don't get why gatr will be good. luxray kills it. power spray kills it somewhat. and the most lethal mesprit LA. no powers for a turn. meaning gatr cant use rain dance at all. get 50 on it with that in and then next turn KO.

Legends arent great. my friend seems dead set on ho-oh being good because it can go in any deck. he doesnt get the fact that it takes for energies and a discard. doesnt pair well with anything. but the good thing is is that the little kids at PR's and leagues will want them very badly. since they are so abundant then peopel who need donphan/other primes can simply trade away a useless deck card for a good prime. IMO its a better deal for them than the persoin trading away the legend.

Interesting theory, that definitely would make HGSS the packs I'll try to get until the new set comes out, because it also has so many good cards in it unlike Supreme Victors. Also power spray doesn't block feraligatr at all because you can use it as many times as you want during your turn. Cards like Mespirit and gardevoir who blocked all pokepowers for that turn are the only ones that block gatr's power.

I can't wait until I buy a box when it comes out of HGSS. Sounds so good because of the chances of getting pokemon prime. Also today at Target I found cool HGSS small binders for $9.99. I bought two.

Someone at my PR said the day before they went to 3 different ones, to get cards & sleeves but dropped after a round to go to 3... O_O Greedy and cheap, much?

I oughta go to Target and snatch one of those binders... :cool:

Lol I just noticed going to 4 pre's is a worse deal than buying one box, as it gives you 360 cards for $80 instead of 320 cards for $140 :O

Well one PR is a better deal than buying 8 released packs at a store. 8 packs would cost like 35$ or so, so you save like 10$ on the packs, plus the set's not released yet and then you get awesome sleeves and a promo. Not to mention the fun of deck-building and playing!

tuche, I don't have to worry much about anything, as soon as it come's out my friend is gonna spend around 200-300$'s on pack's (just like she did with arceus) and then i'll just steal her extra's (to bad the other collector's I know have first dib's on them and take good deck's cards and never play, ever). but to get roughly around 320+ cards before set release would be awesome and great for deck building(I did that for SF, a week before SF I was playing my gengar sf deck at the time at sentery box, free play Thursday's!!!!!!, this guy was running a gengar dp deck and I pulled out my gengar sf on my haunter, he had a angry fit and walked off). cya

P.S. she doesn't know that buying the bulk would be cheaper, but whatev (plus I don't think anyone in my town would sell it like that for a fair price)
