I tested the Cursegar Plume idea, and it found that it works the best with a Spiritomb starter, no Candies, no Gengar LV.X, and Blaziken FB to counter Dialga G. Also, Luring Flame is very useful, as a can drag a pokémon with a 1< retreat (no WP) and then retreat for Haunter/Gengar.

So without any Rare Candy and using Spiritomb as a starter, should it be something like 4-4-4 Cursegar, 2-2-2 Vileplume, and maybe 2-1 Blaziken FB Lv.X? I might have to try this out too.

I used 2-2 Blaziken and 2-2 Luxray (won´t risk because of the Azelf lack). I can PM you the list, as it still needs improvement (eg. no Blaziken if Dialga G isn´t played).

I'm getting a box of HGSS on Sunday. At the moment I'm just really looking for DCE. Is true that there is 5-6 Prime pokemon in a box?

Yes. At my pre release, our table of 6 shared a whole box. We ended up with 7 primes in total. 1 Shiny. 1 Alph lit.

That's what people have bee saying. It is possible to pull all six Primes in a single box.

It's OK. I'm probably not going to really test it until we are getting closer to the release of RL.

I don't really see why. I mean, the best cards in the set are DCE, the T/S/ST, the Primes (excluding Meganium and Donphan), and just a few Pokemon. That's only about 1/4 of the set. Unless you getting two for collection, it might not be worth another 100 dollars. Besides, you can trade for anything else you need.

welll....I got my first hgss pack yesterday :D, and failed at getting a dce. and I disagree there is alot of good cards other then dce in hgss (that dark energy with umbreon on it is like a boss), donphan, and some of the trainer's are very good as well. point is dce is not the best (unless you play unlimited in which case dce is needed, alot). cya

I agree here. This set will become the new Core set in our Trainers and Supporters lines, but thats about all. So if you get lots of T/S/S in the first box, there is little need for a second.

However, I myself need more then 1 box because im trying to complete a master set of this along with a RH of each.
The RH part is a PAIN.

I'm just gonna win 3 boxes from states/Regs to complete my set. =]

But yea I'm gonna try and complete my sets from HGSS on so I have a master set for the next bit.

DCE is Double Colorless Energy.

@Shadoworganoid: I heard some people in my area were trading to complete an a set in the RH. They said it was a complete PAIN. That's why I only trade just to complete the set. If I do RH, then it is just luck ;D

Yeah, the RH part isnt a big deal to me, but I would like to have that complete as well.

I also agree on that HGSS didn't have alot of good pokemon. And if you wanted to buy a box, it would probably just be to collect the whole set, and stock up one some of the Trainers and DCE... Oh and I agree wholeheartedly about the Umbreon sillohete in the Darkness energy. I'm also happy they did that for Espeon too!!!

So, what would you rate this set, and the...uhh RL set? Well, based on the amount of cards that're in that set.

I don't know, HGSS had pokemon other than primes that were good like Jumpluff, Sunflora (As a tech in a grass deck), and ninetails. I think this is a pretty good set for cards because it has the possibility to change the meta-game so much. I'd give it a 7/10 as sets go.

I'd Give It A 8/10 because of Cards There Bringing Back Like Proffesser Elm's Training Method,BIll,and Copy Cat

And we will basically have a format with only three sets active? I'm sorry, but there is really no way PUSA would ever do that. It limits the amount of deck choices players have, and that ruins the fun and creativity.
