My Take on Revived Legends:
Vileplume at last makes his fabled return. His Poke-Body is like Spiritomb on steroids. It does cost an extra Rare Candy, but surely some combo with him on the bench can develop? Keep your eyes on this one.
Vespiquen boasts itself as the bench shield for Grass types, but the effect is so generic I'm almost liking that new 90 damage for 1 Combee more...
The new Kingdra seems decent, sniping off weakened targets from LA Kingdra's second attack. It also returns Energy to your hand, which is seemingly full of synergy.
Prime Kingdra is much more interesting, with a free Crobat G every turn. The attack is also decent, but it's the first water type that actually folds to Fire.
Prime Lanturn is practically joke material. Decent attack that gets a boost from DCE, however the type-change is way more broken than that attack will ever be, and is probably Prime Lanturn's best feature.
I love the new Rotom. Although a use for the Power has yet to have been seen, it still remains one of the most creative I've seen yet. Plasma Arrow is also great in an Energy-heavy set.
Muk has a lot going for it: bench control and 80 damage for two with DCE is probably one of the most playable Muk we've seen in a few years. With a Memory Berry, you can drag up Claydol, poison it, and then keep it from retreating. Unfortunately, Flygon already does that (minus poison) with so much more, so until it is rotated out, Muk remains underclassed.
Prime Tyranitar isn't bad at all. 20 spread to everything, an attack to get by resistance, and three Energy for 120 (with DCE), and the only cost being three cards from the top of your deck. 160 HP is also great. It can tank, it can sweep, it can spread: there will definitely be some use of Tyranitar in this format, if only for how beast its artwork is.
Skarmory is making Steel decks come back. If the translation stays the same, we can fetch Special Metals with this. Skarmory + Prime Steelix + Four Special Metals + Expert Belt is an incredibly broken combo.
Mawile is also a seemingly good starter, allowing you to mill somewhat through your deck.
Dodrio is an interesting tech for a lot of decks, taking away Flytrap's advantage of bench control.
Togekiss is an interesting tech. A 1-0-1 line in any DCE playing deck may prove decent. If you're starting to hurt, rotate the damage around by retreating. Then, when you're about to lose something, send up Togekiss and remove everything.
Each of the new Legends is broken in there own way. Entei/Raikou comes out like an Infernape without the bigger costs of its attack, spreading 90s to the active. Great opening blitz there. Then we have the second attack, which obliterates Claydols. Definitely a new archetype out there.
Suicune and Entei has little more potential than using it with the new Feraligatr Prime, but the ability to 100 to anything in play each turn puts Entei/Raikou to shame.
Raikou/Suicune at first looks like it was meant for synergy. But on second examination, it can also be a tank. With an Expert Belt attached, it's a 180 HP beast that does 70 damage and removes 50. The best tank in format, obviously.
Energy Exchange Unit will prove interesting if it lets you get Special Energy, such as the amazing DCE. Otherwise, it's even worse than Energy Search.
Legend Box gives Legends even more playability than they do already. Legends will definitely see play now.
