It´s going to use Spiritomb as a starter for sure, but I haven´t found a good drawpower for the deck (I guess it´ll use what every other deck is using). I know that the new Politoed counters it, and Dialga G (although the deck runs Blaziken to counter Dialga G and to pick heavy Pokémons with Luring Flame). As for Nidoqueen, I can either 2HKO it or prevent my opponent from taking Prizes (I have a lock) until time is called and then take an easy prize.

Edit: I forgot, Nidoqueen isn´t easily played because of no Candy, so a 1-0-1 tech doesn´t work.

Cursegar is a good deck. Please, don't go around saying that it is bad. It spreads quite well and is overall just a pain. And just like what Blaine said, with Vileplume you can now Cursegar lock.
It all depends on your opinion. Some people (hi, Seth ;p) will say it sucks. I agree with you but some people will argue.

Huh. I guess I have nothing to say currently on it. I am going to research this deck, find a counter, then I will get back to you on that ASAP. I still think Crapgar sucks. If someone is running Nidoqueen, then Crapgar cant do a dern thing. Also, what kind of draw power is it going to use? Ninetails? Or a t/s/s draw line? Cause if its t/s/s then its not gonna go so hot...
And I'm going to research Gyarados and find a flawless counter to it even though everyone else has tried and failed. Then I'll do that for the rest of the decks and have an unbeatable metagame counter. :)

The new Tyranitar will EAT CURSEGAR ALIVE. Because the new Tyranitar will use Spiritomb as its own starter, and it will run queen and healers, so Crapgar cant do a thing now. And who cares if Vileplume locks trainers? It will be spread to death anyways. Cursegar just isn't a good deck.
That's still two sets away and anything fighting with speed at all (Machamp, Donphan) will make a huge HP'd beast with 4 energy go bye-bye.

No matter what deck you talk about, negative opinions will always show. It's the well mannered ones that give their honest opinion about it with respect towards the person. Even so, some people still get offened, but that's their problem.

Anywho, Gangar is annoying, and as long as there are decks reling on Poke Powers (which deck doesnt?) will have a hard time against it... Like last night at my league, I got stomped by a motherGangar... Then I asked for a rematch, and was able to pull it off somehow. All I had were Rapidash, Blaze FB Lvl X and a Plat. Blaze. He had three Gangars out including the Lvl X, Nidoqueen, and... For some odd reason a Hypno from HG SS... Later I found the use of it lol. Point is, it's beatable. Even if you have horrible odds, these decks are still beatable.

Hmm what decks are commonly used in your town's/City's league guys? Most popular at mine are Kingdra, Speedrill and Gengar...

Yeah. Even the BDIF can still be beat. Maybe it doesn't have horrible matchups, but there is no deck in existence that can't be beat (as far as I know).

For my area's meta, I really don't know. I haven't been to my local league in a very long time, so yeah. But my meta is usually tricky. It's a little bit of everything. In the Cities, we had a little bit of SP's, a little Flygon, a little Gyarados, and little Gengar, stuff like that. It's a pain.

What I am saying is that there has GOT to be a way out of a lock, and if you break the lock that Crapgar puts on you, its weak damage output will be its downfall. If someone is running queen, its basically a stallwar, and the stall will eventually run out. By that time. Crapgar will get the CRAP beaten out of it. Lol.

IF you break the lock it puts, then I´ll bet you´ll be locked again next turn. And if against Nidoqueen it´s a stallwar, then Cursegar has the upper hand as it runs Luxray.

Uh but they can't attack your Cursegar without snipe and not everything runs that. Plus even with Queen a belted Gengar does 60 total then 80 the next turn 2HKOs everything anyway. They're lucky if they can attack at all, considering all the different damage-blocking bodies (Shuckle, Mr. Mime, Shedinja, sometimes Spritomb).

We´re talking about Gengar w/ Vileplume RL and Haunter PA w/ Shadow Bind to lock a tech and move the damage to the bench. Shadow Bind deals only 30 damage, that´s why he says it has low damage output.

Tomorrow I get my box of HGSS. Can't wait. Also, do you think it is good to put a Relicanth SV tech in to Shuppet Donk?

RE: The Storms ~ This format is ours! *Join the Revived Legends discussion!* *Members: Do you want Hamachi tournaments?*

what purpose would the Relicanth be having in the deck? What does it accomplish...

It's hard to tell my meta, there's a lot of gengars mainly gechamp, a lot of SP varients, a little shuppet, a little flygon, and lots of rouges.

@ Shadowwiidragon, IMO relicanth slows shuppet down, shuppet is meant to donk and relicanth takes up a spot and you have to run a fighting energy which can be used for more speed. Relicanth is only good in Gechamp IMO, because unown g hurts the deck a lot.

And how with Curse you can just spread that damage away. It actually looks very good on paper, really.

@SWD: Don't run Relicanth. Unown G/Expert Belt isn't a problem against Shuppet, so I don't really see why it is necessary to run Relicanth.

Sorry but there's no way that'll become meta. The only deck that can set four stage 2's up in a reasonable time limit is Beedrill. This doesn't have flutter wings and is just about the same as Flydeck or Gliscor lock. And why are you talking about a deck that almost definitely won't even be legal until after worlds?

Relicanth for Dialga G???? Or any other Sp deck for a counter.

RE: The Storms ~ This format is ours! *Join the Revived Legends discussion!* *Members: Do you want Hamachi tournaments?*

The idea is that this deck will be good AFTER the rotation (no Warp Energy / Unown G). And it´s not meant to get everything ASAP but to setup w/ Spiritomb and then lock the opponent. Once locked, the only way out is to use Politoed from the JP HGSS or Dialga G (in a Pt-On format). Dialga G is OHKOed by Blaziken, so that´s not a problem.

:/ It's still slowing down Shuppet all together. You have to tech in another energy type, find room for some Relicanth, just not worth it. Dialga G is an auto-loss matchups one way or another.

[sarcasm]Yeah, I'm sure giving up all 4 Spiritomb to finally setup my 4 State 2's to snipe the opponent's bench for 30 whole damage!11! That'll let me come back.[/sarcasm] ;p Only way out? You mean like aside from evolving, leveling up, bodies like Toxicroak G, actually attacking with what's stuck active, etc. right?

RE: The Storms ~ This format is ours! *Join the Revived Legends discussion!* *Members: Do you want Hamachi tournaments?*

It´s not as slow as you think. By starting with Spiritomb, it slows the opponent enough to setup. And I can drag a fully evolved non-attacking non-Toxicroak G pokémon to lock active.

thread is missing again.

Gliscor: I practiced against Dialga G and seems to work pretty fine.

Yeah, and what are fully evolved Pokemon in a PT-on format? They're attackers. And what appears to be, at this point, the only way for Stage 2 in a PT-on format to setup? Spiritomb. So Spiritomb won't slow them down at all if they run it.
