So, you´re assuming that there won´t be any techs at all. I´m not pretty sure about that. Besides, if the opponent is also using Spiritomb, then they won´t be that fast, meaning that I will be able to setup anyways. And IF they are faster, I have Blaziken/Luxray to keep up.

Uh I'd quit this game if every deck had to setup four Stage 2's and that set the standard for speed. And the key word is tech. Tech means an optional card. If I knew the strategy I wouldn't play any of my techs down. I've done that before against Flydeck and it's very possible.

I guess it will be a bit complicated to do that under a constant trainer lock. Wait, are you running Spiritomb too? Then that´s the Pokémon I´ll lock. Anyway, this is just theory, we´ll see what happens when RL is released.

How are you gonna lock Spiritomb in the same place? With Spiritomb out, you cant play memory berry, thus making your strategy null and void. Your gonna lock with Haunter? Be my guest, I will gladly let a Spiritomb die at the hands of Haunter to bring out MY attacker and beat your face in. Lol.

Spiritomb WON´T die, as I can move the damage with Curse (and you won´t have a Pokémon on your bench to evolve always, unless you play your techs...)

Right, but if MY Spiritomb is active, how are you going to get out Curse to spread the damage? You cant get memory berry going, so you would need to bench one. Getting a benched Vileplume AND a benched Crapgar under an enemy Spiritomb lock isn't the easiest thing to do...

Celebi23 said it, a deck playing Spiritomb isn´t disrupted by it. Besides, I run BTS to evolve even faster. And there´s always a way to play around a Spiritomb (sending it to the bench and then Acitve again to attach Memory Berry) if needed.

Good luck with it I guess. I have developed a deck to fight this kinda thing, and your idea inspired me to make this list. So thanks! Lol.

It´s always good to inspire someone. Anyway, I don´t believe we´re going to play anytime soon so...
Also, I didn´t say the deck was counter proof, I was just pointing that the strategies that you said don´t counter it completely.

But how are you GONNA set up ANOTHER Crapgar under a consistent lock? You have to get a Haunter, a Claydol, and now a full line of Crapgar out. A smart Spiritomb player would go Claydol then queen while your going for your Crapgar. If your playing SPs, you can wish this combo good bye lol, cause SPs will eat your face in.

EDIT: Once your Spiritomb goes away of course.

Claydol???? This deck is meant for a Pt-On format, so no Claydol.

Oh right. Haha. Well whats your draw power going to be for Crapgar? Its gonna need SOME sort of draw power...

I´m still testing what works better for draw power. But don´t forget that all decks will have to found a new draw power, not just Cursegar.

If you mean that nidoqueen would break the curse lock of keeping spiritomb then how are they going to get queen out? Most decks I know run nidoqueen as a tech meaning a 1-0-1. Since you're trying to lock their spiritomb active then they couldn't candy their queen so they couldn't block the curse lock.

A lot of players run 1-1-1 to SPECIFICALLY get out queen under a spiritomb lock, and just have Nidorina for that specific purpose. More often than not they just candy to the queen, but in that situation, its good to have.

I'm out from the Group for one night thanks to a party and I miss all of this -_-.

Well, right now this Vilegar discussion is going to be rather, difficult. We are already talking about possibly-metagame-decks when we don't even know the set order or anything that will be rotated out.

@CyndaquilMaster: I often times to see 1-1-1 Nidoqueen. Usually it's to play around a Spiritomb, but every now and then someone uses Nidorina's attack to take two Pokemon from the discard.

Huh, were I live barely anybody uses nidoqueen and when they do they always use a 1-0-1. That's probably because my meta-game isn't that competitive, I have to go one or two states over to actually get some competition.

Like I said, smart players know of the Spiritomb threat, so 1-1-1 is a much smarter idea. Just in case. Its what I do as a precautionary measure, because I am not going to always be able to grab that candy when I need it.
