RE: Yugioh Thread
I hate to be "that guy", but with September coming right around the corner, I think it'd be a good time to start some discussion on the ban list, no?
I've a couple predictions myself, with explanations given if I find it necessary.
Forbidden:
* Five-Headed Dragon (Future Fusion isn't the problem with Chaos Dragons, since many decks nowadays can use Future Fusion. Banning Five-Headed Dragon will have the exact same effect on Chaos Dragons as banning Future Fusion, but will leave it open for other decks to use to its fullest potential)
Limited:
* Dark Magician of Chaos/Magician of Faith (Not saying it SHOULD be unbanned, but with Konami hyping the Prophecy monsters and their compatibility with all Spellcasters, I can see this happening.)
* Wind-Up Carrier Zenmaity (People love to spam Wind-Ups more than ever. This would make Wind-Ups a bit more balanced when it comes to the loop and would encourage people to hop onto the Hieratic Gishki bandwagon)
* Inzektor Hornet (Limiting this will weed out the stupid players who thinks Inzektors are dead with Hornet at 1. Will definitely open up more Ladybug-focused decks.)
Semi-Limited:
* Wind-Up Rat (This would have been so much more balanced if it negated the effect of the monster it summoned, but NOOOOOO.)
* The Agent of Mystery - Earth (Agents are basically dead anyway with Trishula banned)
* Rekindling (1-card Quasar isn't exactly what I would like to call balanced)
* The Transmigration Prophecy (Almost every competitive deck has some sort of a focus on the graveyard; having this at 2 as opposed to 1 would balance the game a bit. Even if nobody even plays 1, it's still there for the people who are looking for some anti-meta elements.)
