Yeah, heroes are going to get stupid good when Escurado comes out.

I knew of this back when he was revealed a few months ago. I have a spot for him in my extra deck. But I can't wait for him. He is gonna be awesome for my deck :3 Super Poly ftw!

RE: Yugioh Thread

Great. Are they inexpensive? I've always liked the Elemental Heroes. Got a list?

its power tool for that archetype, I'm going to grab 3 of the same card.
You can't choose cards with the same name. Since the archetype already has 3 searchers that don't put limitations on what can happen before and after using it, Library is terrible.

RE: Yugioh Thread

The Hero deck I run is a Super Poly version with Royal Decree - and man, does it tick people off.

Dark World decks aren't top tier (though they're very close), but they did win the biggest tournament in the history of any trading card game, so that has some merit to it.
Was that the Regionals in Long Beach? 4200+ people or something?

YCS, but yes. That was a pretty big tournament...Fortune Lady HEROs proves themselves by getting in the top 64, at the very least, I think. I know they placed pretty darn well up there, considering that the tournament had over four thousand people.

RE: Yugioh Thread

I heard from my friend about how it went. Swiss rounds didn't start until 4pm, so he just left and came to league.

RE: Yugioh Thread

Well, a pamphlet of the card list of Return of the Duelist has been leaked, revealing the names of the rest of the TCG exclusives.
The 4 remaining TCG exclusives will be named...
Lightray Madoor (A Lightray equivalent of...Aqua Madoor? What the flying fluff?)
Imairuka (Similar name to Umiruka; might have something to do with that)
Resurrection Golem (Just by the name, I'm gonna take a guess and say that it's a rock monster that can revive/recycle itself.)
Noble Arms - Gallatin (Probably has something to do with the Noble Knight "archetype")

...I'm sorry, I cannot get over even the POSSIBILITY of there being a Light counterpart to AQUA MADOOR. Don't get me wrong, it was an amazing card back in the day...until the game shifted to a more offensively-based game *coughgravekeeperscough* when nearly every monster in any given set had an effect. You could have chosen dozens of different things. Maybe a Lightray Nephthys? Simorgh? Infernal Flame Emperor? Dark Eradicator Warlock? Why not something significant?

RE: Yugioh Thread

Depends on how you build heroes:

Fusion Gate Heroes
Bubblebeat
herobeat
Rainbowneos
Fortune Lady Heroes
Super Poly Heroes
Little city
Big City
Electrum

Here's a Skeleton of things every hero Build SHOULD have

Extra Deck:
2 E-Hero The SHining
1-2 E-Hero Absolute Zero
1 E-Hero Nova Master
1 E-Hero Gaia
2 E-Hero Escurado [When it comes out]
1 E-Hero Great Tornado

Monsters:
1 Elemental Hero Stratos
2 Elemental Hero Prisma
1 Sangan
2 Elemental Hero Neos Alius

Spells:
2-3 Super Polymerization
1 Monster Reborn
1 Heavy Storm
2-3 MST
1-2 Pot of Duality
1 Book of Moon
1 Reinforcement of the army
3 E-Emergency Call

Traps:
3 Hero Blast

RE: Yugioh Thread

You forgot 3 Miracle Fusion, hehe

I don't think Prisma is an absolute necessity unless you run some of the older E-Heros, since you need to reveal a fusion monster that requires at least one specific material; you can't reveal The Shining and send a Neos Alius to the graveyard.

RE: Yugioh Thread

Is that really how Prisma works? I thought you technically could reveal Shining and and send Neos Alius for the E-Hero part of its fusion. The more you know, I guess.

...then send 1 of the Fusion Material Monsters listed on that card from your Main Deck to the Graveyard

RE: Yugioh Thread

That's what a lot of people thought. Neither of its required fusion material monsters are specific monsters, so Prisma doesn't fit into a lot of decks. Ironically, it works much better in Gladiator Beasts than in Heros, in my honest opinion.

Hm... so I may wanna take my pair out? That kinda sucks. Oh well, I'll find replacements for them.

RE: Yugioh Thread

Prisma can only change its name to a Fusion Material monster that is specifically named. With the advent of Absolute Zero, The Shining, and all the others, Prisma isn't even all that good.

I can share my HERO list with you guys if you want to take a look at it.

I'd like that actually. Can you share it?

RE: Yugioh Thread

http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Card_Rulings:Elemental_HERO_Prisma

Elemental Hero Prisma [sic] can only be used for Fusion Mosnters [sic] that have at least 1 Fusion Material Monster that is specifically named, and can only be used to change its name to a specifically named Fusion Material Monster. You cannot reveal a monster like Five-Headed Dragon and send any Dragon-Type monster from your Deck to the Graveyard.[1]

When using "Elemental Hero Prisma's" [sic] effect, if you reveal "Rainbow Neos" you can only send "Elemental Hero Neos" to the Graveyard. You cannot send "Rainbow Dragon" or "Rainbow Dark Dragon" to the Graveyard.[7]

And it goes on and on and on.

RE: Yugioh Thread

Well, I have a Troll Hero deck...it's basically Hero Beat but with 3 Photon Thrasher for more Blade Armor Ninja nonsense.

RE: Yugioh Thread

I love Heroes so much, I'm glad to see that they're still a great deck in the Meta. Here's a pretty cool build that isn't Bubbleman-heavy.
