Ok, so when my friend and I dueled, I destroyed his Dark Necrofear, then Special Summoned Night's End Sorcerer to Banish it...DN's effect is then negated correct?

Yes

Eratta:

Dark Necrofear

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play 3 Fiend-Type monsters in your Graveyard. If this card is destroyed by battle, or by your opponent's card effect while it is a Monster Card, equip it to a monster your opponent controls during the End Phase of this turn. Take control of the equipped monster.

Dark Necrofear's effect activates in the graveyard during the end phase of that turn. Though in this case, its effect doesn't work because it needs to be in the graveyard to activate. So yes, your correct ^^

Where does it say that?

Its usually how I use the card myself.

Dark Necrofear becomes a equip spell card once destroyed. So I don't believe it can come back from the banished zone.

game mechanic.

Curses - something that's implied and not written on the card.
This is actually one of those few instances where the new YGO card wording would actually come in handy.

RE: Yugioh Thread

Well, two Return of the Duelist TCG exclusives were revealed last night.
BlueDragonNinja-REDU-EN-OP.jpg

Blue Dragon Ninja
Level 5/Sea Serpent/Water
2100/1200
Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can discard 1 "Ninja" monster and 1 "Ninjitsu Art" card to target 1 monster your opponent controls; this turn, that monster's effects are negated, also that monster cannot attack.

NinjitsuArtofShadowSealing-REDU-EN-OP.jpg

Ninjitsu Art of Shadow Sealing
Continuous Trap
Tribute 1 "Ninja" monster to target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish that target. While that card is banished, its Monster Card Zone cannot be used. When this face-up card leaves the field: Return the card banished by this effect to the same Monster Card Zone in the same battle position.

Certainly...interesting cards, to say the least. Blue Dragon Ninja is just a 2100 ATK Fiendish Chain that has a much heavier activation cost, but this card can target normal monsters while Fiendish Chain cannot. With a cost this steep, this guy won't see much play, but since it's a level 5 Ninja, Hanzo and any of your opponent's monsters that they normal summon on turn 1 are targets for Super-Transformation. There are already a couple level 5 Ninjas, so this guy won't see a lot of play.

Shadow Sealing, however, is interesting. It's basically a Different Dimension Gate in trap card form. It can be extremely difficult to get rid of in White Dragon Ninja decks, so you can tribute your weaker ninjas to permanently get rid of a bigger threat. Not amazing, but decent.

^ If it didn't have that it would see a lot more play.

RE: Yugioh Thread

Well, Brionac is basically the only meta card that bounces spells and traps. Everything else destroys them, thus rendering them useless against White Dragon Ninja.

RE: Yugioh Thread

I'm already running Space-Time Police, so I don't need to worry too much about it. Personally, I think Police is strictly better, but the effect only activates when it's Special Summoned. Then again, he's a Psychic, and they Special Summon easily.

White Dragon Ninja annoys me.

Dark Simorgh = Best lock ever.

one of my friends plays Dark Simorgh + Jinzo + Spell Canceller with triple Veiler and Triple Crow.
omg yes

I ran Dark Simorgh in Blackwings. It actually worked incredibly well (Mist Valley Soldier was the WIND monster of choice).

RE: Yugioh Thread

Was looking at YGO wikia, Dolkka tin is absurdly good, I get a Zenmaines, a scrap dragon and a Genex Neutron? Probably getting 3 of these.

RE: Yugioh Thread

Though I see where you're getting at, I think the Excalibur tin is better. You get Laggia, Zenmaines, and Wind-Up Rabbit, all 3 of which see a lot of play. Plus Blizzard Princess, which works in my Madolche OTK, and Excalibur because it's frickin' EXCALIBUR, it just runs over anything.
Though this statement is admittedly a bit biased due to the fact that I can use all these cards instead of just letting them sit in a binder as trade fodder, I think the Excalibur tin is better.

Speaking of tins, what do you guys and gals think are gonna be in the other 3 tins? We know they'll have at least 1 Shojen Jump promo and/or at least 1 manga promo...I think it's about time we got a reprint of Lightning Warrior and Seven Swords Warrior.

Oh, how I do wish that was the case!
...though seeing Zenmaines and Laggia/Dolkka in the same tin actually makes that plausable, hehe
