The Yu-Gi-Oh Thread

RE: Yugioh Thread

The difference between Macro Cosmos and D-Fissure (except from the spell/trap thing) is that Macro Cosmos removes all cards while D-Fissure only removes monsters. It depends on what you want to remove.

RE: Yugioh Thread

But either way, you're going to be using it to banish monsters...unless you're playing against decks that like to use Barkion.

Inzektors lost a lot when Hornet and Dragonfly bacame limited, seeing how these were their best cards.

They lost next to nothing. The combo of Centipede and Ladybug (or Hornet, naturally) searches out anything you need. Zektcalibur recycles Dragonfly when you get it. Armageddon Knight still dumps Hornet. Mystic Tomato and Howling Insect still Special Summon Dragonfly. They're slower to set up and more vulnerable to Macro and D-Fissure, but for the most part, they've been untouched.

RE: Yugioh Thread

Ok. I'm running D-Fissure right now and am not having any problems so...yeah. I'm just gonna stick with that. I don't think banishing Spells or Traps is any good or bad.

Also...I need help with my Side Deck. I'll put it up soon, but what do you guys have in mind? Is Prohibition worth running?

mermail.jpg

CBLZ-EN083
Mermail Abyssteus
Level 7
Aqua/WATER/Effect
You can discard 1 other WATER monster to the Graveyard; Special Summon this card from your hand. If you do: add 1 Level 4 or lower "Mermail" Monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only use the effect of "Mermail Abyssteus" once per turn.
1700 ATK/2400 DEF

Now I have even more of a reason to hate the game.

Its funny you say that because I honestly do think that these water decks out right now are all broken as hell lol.

RE: Yugioh Thread

suddenly, lilsparks

And I do agree that some of the new water arcehtypes are broken, especially with a lot of the cards those decks need to function being available in starter decks. The key to profit, however, is making the best cards secret rare (Abyssmegalo, Moulounglacia), lol.

I feel sorry for those poor souls who go to events with their >$200 decks only to be beaten by Threatening Roar Inzketors or something.

RE: Yugioh Thread

I play online.

Ok, since I'm running Dino Rabbit, what can I side against the mirror?

A lot of the people who have posted in this thread tend to play online, on DN, YGOPro, DevPro, you name it. If you'd ever like a game, feel free to ask through profile comments or something.

RE: Yugioh Thread

I am glad to know that this thread is still going strong. That's good ^^

RE: Yugioh Thread

So...uhhh...can someone help me with my Dino Rabbit Side Deck? I have:

2x Effect Veiler
2x Electric Virus
1x Maxx "C"
1x System Down
1x Dimensional Fissure (I run two in the Main Deck)
1x D-Prison
1x Dark Bribe
2x Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror
2x Soul Drain
1x Fiendish Chain
1x Card Destruction (for the Exodias)

What about the card "Exchange". That can also be a counter to Exodia.

RE: Yugioh Thread

I find it's easier to determine what a side deck needs when you know your bad matchups. Even if the deck is the same, personal playstyle and some of your card choices can make a world of difference when considering side deck choices. What decks are you having trouble with, even after g2?

RE: Yugioh Thread

I just want to know how to side against the Mirror haha.

EDIT: Also...should I run 3x Guaiba in my Rabbit list? I've been flaky on it. Most lists I've seen don't run it.

RE: Yugioh Thread

What's the verdict on this guy?

If you have the room, I'd run 2 or 3.

Bad. You'd almost need a gimmick deck to actually bring him out in the first place.
