* Fabled Kushano: Not only is it a LIGHT Monster (so you can banish it and Tour Guide after the Xyz to go into BLS or something), but it's also a tuner in the scenario where you NEED to synch into something.

I remember, back when Brionac was legal and Tour Guide was at three, I ran a Tour Guide/Fabled/X-Saber deck, making use of M-X-Saber Invoker and stuff. It was actually really fun: Tour Guide + Grimro/Cerberus was an insta-Brio, using Kushano and stuff.

But now Brio's banned and Tour Guide's at two so :|

RE: Yugioh Thread

How? Tour Guide prevents the monster it summons from being used as synchro material...

1) Tour Guide into Kushano
1a) If you've got a Grimro, discard it for Cerberus.
2) Overlay for M-X-Saber Invoker
3) Detach Kushano to summon X-Saber Galahad (or Wind-up Soldier)
4) Discard Cerberus for Kushano, summon Ceberus
5a) If you brought out Galahad, sync for a level 6 - Hyunlei, Orient Dragon, Brionac, Gaia, etc.
5b) If you brought out Wind-up Soldier, sync for a level 7 - Black Rose, Ancient Sacred Wyvern, etc.

Oh, that makes more sense.

RE: Yugioh Thread

Wow I kinda like that card and it seems really easy to set up. When's that getting released?

RE: Yugioh Thread

What are some cards or decks that counter Six Samurais besides Kinetic Soldier? I absolutely despise them and can't seem to ever beat them if they go first.

Anything with more than 2500 ATK.
MST as a dummy spell also works; if they use Shi En to negate that, you can then use a bigger spell like Dark Hole or Mirror Force to clear the field.

RE: Yugioh Thread

Keep in mind, though, that Samurais often run Colossal, so take care with the Atk solution.
Other cards you can use are rather gimmicky, but I'll mention them for the sake of it: Warrior Elimination, War of the Elements, Ryu Kokki, Summoning Limit, Thunder King Rai-Oh, Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo (the last two aren't gimmicky).

RE: Yugioh Thread

I love Thunder King Rai-Oh. That's probably the best card to run. I also like Needle Ceiling. I agree with DNA - play a decoy Spell and then go for the kill with something huge like Dark Hole or Lightning Vortex. Colossal may be annoying, but at least this one is BTH-susceptible. You can also BLS the grand majority of your opponent's Sams away if need be.

RE: Yugioh Thread

Only thing is that smart Six Sam players don't fall for decoy spells unless their Gateway is threatened with destruction. Kinetic Soldier is honestly your best bet, though you have to watch out for Enishi (both the LSS and the Chancellor)

RE: Yugioh Thread

Keep in mind, though, that Enishis are not very famous. Chancellor is usually one per deck and LSS is one or two. There are also many cases in which they are in Side.

RE: Yugioh Thread

I don't know a single good Six Sam player who doesn't maindeck LSS Enishi. You can get it out easily with Asceticism--which is run at 3--from Irou and Kageki, so there's really no reason to NOT run LSS Enishi.

RE: Yugioh Thread

Personally, I run 2 LSS Enishi. I really like him. But there are many players who don't. I still remember some guys trying to convince me that Enishi was useless... until he sent their Synchros back to the Extra.
Just wanting to mention that Enishi isn't standard as Kizan is, for example. But he's undoubtedly a threat.

RE: Yugioh Thread

Of course, I thought that was common knowledge. Every single Six Sam deck runs 3 Kizan.
