I've watched most of the first season, and I've seen parts of the second. It is a funny show, better than that stupid reality show crap on cartoonetwork now. I'm happy that they show some of the Canadian cartoons, as I have loved 6teen and TDI. I'll probably watch bits of the first season for a refresher, then start watching season 2 and eventually start season 3. Anyone who knows where to find it, please post it here or pm me.

I think the show is not funny. It's very childish, ridiculous, and repetitive. Oh wow they added two new characters, whoop-Te-dew!
They try to make the show funny by putting them in awkward situations. This, however, comes from someone who watches Lost and Adult Swim, so, meh

Ah, Yesterdays new song reminds me of the time I jumped out of a plane and sang a song about falling.
Ah... Good times...

I like this season, despite the fact that it's a little corny. I'll be so upset if Bridgette leaves early AGAIN. She's my favorite character and possibly the most sane person on the entire show.

I remember when cartoonnetwork had good shows...this is not a good show.

Well it's not exactly bad either. -_- It's one of the best of what they're showing on CN these days....

That's like comparing dirt to poop. Dirt smells better... so obviously its good is what you're saying. What would happen if I offer you a bed of flowers only a few steps away from the dirt and poop. You would obviously walk there. Now replace the poop with all of CN's lineup, the dirt with Total Drama Whatchamacallit and the flowers with a real comedy/reality show/gameshow.

Let me ask everyone who supports this show. Why do you like it? If its for commedy, how many times have you found yourself genuinely laughing. If its for the reality concept, why wouldn't you watch a real reality show? If its for the musical portion, have you ever seen a good musical like Phantom of the Opera or Little Shop of Horrors? If its for the characters, do you honestly believe these characters have personalities? Why wouldn't you watch a show where many characters have reason to their actions instead of "IWUNTTEHMONEY"? Many more questions. I just want you to justify yourselves for "Liking" this show.

Don't tell me that this is one of the better children's animations. I've loved many AMERICAN animations. I've even enjoyed musical animated shows. Just because a show is made for children does not mean it has to be subpar. Look at the animaniacs for example. They fit many GOOD adult jokes into a kid's show and still got good ratings from little kids. That is one show that I would watch if it was still running new. Most of Disney's musicals have at least decent to good music. My favorite would probably be Hunchback of Notre Dame. That was very well recorded. My point is that this show is so subpar in everything it tries to do, and you are all are saying "well I don't know any better shows on Cartoon Network, so this is going to be my fav", or something along those lines.

I find myself laughing at it all the time. The characters are interesting. The challenges are insane ones that you can't find on a REAL reality show. Yes, the songs are horrible. And yes, i've seen real broadway musicals. They are much better than the boring songs in this show of course. Honestly, what is so BAD about this show? I don't get it. It seems like a good show to me. And I wouldn't really wanna watch the old cartoons anymore since i've seen every episode of the old ones like 1000 times. Eventually those get boring.... If you wanna watch old cartoons then go watch Boomerang. Boomerang's lineup from 5-11pm is the best lineup they've ever had. :D

Are the characters interesting? Their actions are 100% predictable and just plain dull IMO. I mean think about it! EVERY SINGLE ONE is a stereotype. They have no personality outside of that stereotype. You can see that exact same character on every other dull show with few ideas. I found an exact match up for 2/3 characters from different shows to each character in this one. I double checked... exactly the same. The speech patterns, actions, and relationships were all the same. That isn't a good show... its just lazy. And, once again, none of the characters have motives. Sometimes hatred will come in, but its primarily money. We have not once seen them even communicate outside of "LUTS GET TEH MONEH". There was that "alliance" in season 1, if you want to call it that. Have you ever seen a REAL reality show alliance? Survivor is a perfect example of this. The writers could use something like this due to the show's nature of voting players off. Instead, the closest thing they had to an alliance was "DEW WUT EY SAI".

I apparently do not have the sense of humor required for this show. I appreciate dumb humor like that of Tom & Jerry, and sophisticated humor shown in some sitcoms that run. The only type of humor (at least that I thought of) that I disapprove of is racist/sexist/overly adult humor. I don't see too much of that here (unless Mexicans speaking in Spanish is racist and humorous...). I will concede that I might not get the humor... but the fact that I've asked many KIDS who watch the show, and they don't know what's "funny" about it. They actually don't find it funny. And also, they reuse unfunny gags. I KNOW that the Ezykial gag is extremely unfunny. Why bother using unfunny gags? That shows poor writing. Funny gags can be reused a few times, but that one gag has been used way more than a funny gag should have been used.

The challenges are fine, but only if you think the characters are interesting. That is the flaw of this type of show. This show is not very high-production, so it can't really have too dynamic challenges. Think about it. Take... Naruto for example. People either love or hate the characters. No one can deny, however, that the action scenes are decent. In this show, we see nothing of the sort. The "action scenes" are all character based, and not "OH EM GEE DEES EEZ AWZUM" based. If you don't care about the characters, you won't enjoy them going up a pyramid. If the challenges are what you care about, perhaps watch an action show. I can't recommend any american (or canadian) ones... because good ones really don't exist. I'd point you right to Dubbed anime.

I can't make you not dispute, so go ahead.

Ehh.... whatever. This is a stupid argument anyway. Everyone has different opinions so let's just forget it. :)

Not everything with me is an argument. This is a common discussion. I geniunely want to know the answers to my questions. You have failed to supply reasonable answers. I actually care about this.

What? I answered you. I told you why I like it....

If you guys don't like it, why do you keep coming back? No offense, I'm just asking.

I like the show, I find it funny. I don't try to question it and compare it to other shows either. I watched TDI, and TDWT. TDA, not so much, I just skipped it. Every show has a bump in the road sometime, even if it was a small one. TDA apparently was that bump. And no, you won't find these challenges in REAL reality shows because it's a cartoon and also, they wouldn't be that mean, so drop that.

DarkLucario: If you find it childish, then you must hate spongebob. I don't watch Lost, I don't intend to either. But I watch Adult Swim too, so you aren't special at all. Do people forget about their inner kid inside or do they just think "ZOMG PUBERTY CAME SO I HATE ALL CARTOONS!!! THEY ARE STUPID AND CHILDISH!"

Total drama whatever sucks, it has no point it a bunch of idiots trying to get money by completing poorly made challenges.

Spongebob is decent. I lost my childhood when I started going to High School, you will too.

Sure, whatever. So going to high school automatically makes me lose my childhood? And the jokes on TD aren't always geared torwards kids. Its actually better when the FCC doesn't touch it.

No just for me it did. My friends were moving on and I began to realize some of these TV shows were not funny anymore. And puberty had something to do with it to... :p

And the FCC doesn't ever touch kid shows. They watch it, then approve. They only look at more important channels on TV, like Fox.

FCC touched Total Drama.

Thats Season 1. Sure its not major, but it adds up.

Dude I said that word all throughout my childhood...

So? Im just saying they still edit shows like that, which is a PARODY of reality shows, and they keep adventure time unedited.
