Seviper (19+5+22+9+16+5+18)

Gengar (7+5+14+7+1+18)
52 is meowth which is closely assoc. with Team Rocket (Jessie and James)

RE: Trivia of DNA I

I changed the picture, but oyeah already listed them.

RE: Trivia of DNA I

That's correct. I suppose I should hurry up the quiz already, seeing as Oyeah has already filled in the correct answer. As I said before, making them up as I go along is really really fun.

The answer is Jessie and James, although I would have accepted Team Rocket. However, Oyeah listed both acceptable answers, so he gets the points.

As I'm sure you're well aware, the DNA-Dex is active on the Pokebeach chatroom. And I know that, while most of you use it for the people, Pokemon have their own entries too. Heck, some of Xous' Fakemon have entries also, if you know what their names are and know where to look.

But, not counting the main Pokemon entries and Xous' Fakemon, which of my other DNA-Dex entries actually starts with a number, instead of #???
Can you riddle me this?

RE: Trivia of DNA I

#1weavile, 27772...
Your profile is lucrative... No idea if I'm missing something...

RE: Trivia of DNA I

No - both of those entries start with #??? and then the name, i.e. #??? #1weavile. This extra entry actually has a number before it gives the name.

RE: Trivia of DNA I

Missingno. IS a main Pokemon entry. Your answer is incorrect.

RE: Trivia of DNA I

You guys have until Tuesday night to try and find out the magical Dex entry. Should you fail I'll keep moving on with the quiz.
Or if there's further confusion, I'll fast-forward earlier.

RE: Trivia of DNA I

That's weird. I was not aware that Victini was not a main Pokemon entry.

...of course it's a main Pokemon entry; Victini's a Pokemon. You just wasted your one and only guess for this question.

RE: Trivia of DNA I

...moving on, since no one got this question...

What DNA-Dex entry is the following?
"Revered in many ancient cultures because of its impeccable beauty, it has been the subject of countless paintings and sculptures."

And it is a Pokemon, by the way.
By the way, going on chat and using DNA-Dex yourself IS fair game.

RE: Trivia of DNA I

No, and no.

Hatman, I was tempted to put Claydol's entry as the first question, but then I thought against it because that would be way too easy.

RE: Trivia of DNA I

It's true. He was checking so many entries in my dex on the chat just now.

Protip: If you want a leg-up in this trivia, I suggest you do the same. However, look for context clues in the entry itself. For example - Milotic's name was based on the Venus de Milo, a very famous sculpture. It's stuff like that you need to look for.

This DNA-Dex entry states the following:

"Its horn is used to break through large ice packs that form in the polar waters where it resides. It thrives best in extreme cold."
