A spoof is the brain-child of a person who dislikes a certain thing. In this instance, Twilight. The entire reason for a spoof is to make fun of something. Without this, there is no such thing as a parody.
That's also the reason to see the movie. If you don't like the original series, wouldn't you want to see a movie that makes fun of it? It's a smart marketing plan as well, because the producers know how much hate there is toward Twilight. So they created a movie that makes fun of it, in hopes that the haters would see the movie, simply for the fact that they don't like Twilight. That shows a smart buisness idea.
I'm not going to say that hating twilight makes Vampires Suck better, but it allows you to better appreciate the movie. For instance, we all know about the Twilight fangirls. Team Jacob, Team Edward, blah blah blah. I've always disliked the obsession that comes with Twilight. In Vampires Suck, there is a joke about Team J and Team E fighting on who is better. Team J then hits Team E with a shovel. I found that hilarious, because of the way the poke fun at the Twilight junkies. If you were a hard-core twilight fan, you wouldn't find that as funny, or funny at all.
You need to understand the basis of a spoof. It is created by haters, watched by haters, and most enjoyed by haters. That is the point. You wouldn't create of mean spoof of pokemon, would you? Not if you liked it. Twilight haters aren't pathetic, they have a right to see a movie that they know will make fun of something they dislike. That's there choice. You can't call them pathetic for wanting to see a funny movie. You are more pathetic then they are, because you can't accept the reason for a spoof.
Thank you for your time.
