GAME FREEZE

Day 1

With no possible leads, and unwilling to lynch an innocent, the Ashes retired for the day and let Team Rocket decide who dies first.


There will be no extension for the night since the day ended so quickly - April 29, 2012 at 5:30 AM CST / 6:30 PM RST.

The following people must PM me some time during the night or risk being replaced at the beginning of the next day (provided they're still alive):

Chillarmy

Because it is night 1--the first "real" night--all restrictions on ability usage have been removed. If you have an ability you can only use a limited amount of times, however, you may want to consider holding off.

Night 1

The Rockets sat and talked over tea about who to kill. They had many targets to choose from. Someone suggested they should kill Rusticks, and that was met with a rousing "hear hear," so a Rocket went out and slaughtered Rusticks in his sleep.

Then all the Rockets went to bed.

Meanwhile, Ash sat in his bed awake. He slipped a hand into his pocket and pulled out a picture of his former partners. "I promise you, Jess. I'll do whatever I can to stop Team Rocket." He returned the picture and stared at the ceiling. "Come on, James. You've gotta know who those Rockets are. Who's acting weird? Figure it out..."

And then, an idea.

"I've got it. I know who one of them is. But I can't leave it to Ash. Before anyone else is hurt, I have to take the reins of justice into my own hands." With renewed confidence, Ash slipped out of his bed and made his way towards Chillarmy's room. Ash silently slipped inside and quietly cut Chillarmy's throat, killing him. Chillarmy was:

Role: Butch Sahagian
Alignment: Team Rocket

You are Biff Botch Butch. You recently escaped from prison and became Cassidy's second-in-command in the new Team Rocket. You get really irate when people get your name wrong, and you think those Team Aqua guys are tools. You heard through the grapevine that Officer Jenny is hunting you down, and you can only hope that isn't true.

Ability: Irate
You may use this ability once per game. PM me the name of any player who misspelled your username in a post. That player will be killed.

Ability: One Perfect Girl
Officer Jenny is looking for you... if she reveals herself to you, you will kill her.

Ability: Rocket Support Network
You have access to Rocket Hideout and may use it to communicate freely with your other Rockets.

Ash stealthily made his way back to his room, and made a vow not to kill again.

The next morning, the rest of the Ashes found Chillarmy and Rusticks's dead bodies.

As the town tried to figure out what is left by the mysterious identity of Rusticks, the Rockets tried not to show any care for the loss of one of their own.


And the Rockets lose a member on night one! Holy kittens! Is this going to be a trend? Will Team Rocket be blasting off at the speed of light, or can they mount a comeback and pull through? Only time will tell. Day two starts now! There are thirty players left in the game - 16 votes to lynch. You all have until Thursday, May 3, 2012, at 9 AM CST / 10 PM RST to make a decision.

A reminder: You may also choose to vote No Lynch to end the day without a lynch.

Wow, a rather interesting way to start the day. First of all, Biff Botch Butch Sahagian is dead (I couldn't help but lol at the name), and that means that there is either 1) a townie that can kill people under certain criteria, or 2) an indie. There's also the chance 3) the Rockets are turning on each other, but I really doubt they're going to pull a hipoke like they did in WW10.

As for Rusticks...someone or something has made his role impossible to read. No idea what that could mean.

Awesome, we got a Rocket night one!

The whole thing with Rusticks is... strange, to say the least. It seems like the Rockets were the guys who attacked him, so perhaps there is a role on their side that destroys the role alongside the person, basically like a Mafia Janitor.

Ah cool, the night already ended~. (Why hasn't anyone else than DNA posted yet?)

Ok, let's see what happened:
- TR killed Rusticks
- We didn't get a readable profile from Rusticks
- Someone killed a Rocket (Chillarmy)

Looks like the killing of Chillarmy was an ability from someone? I mean, TR already had their kill.

The killer seems to be James of (ex?) team Rocket. (He says "Jess", like Jessie.) It also says "former" partner, so I don't think that James is in TR anymore. If I understood right, this is based on PMJ:s fanfic. Has anybody read it? What happened to Jessie and James?

But why would they kill Chillarmy, if it was because of inactivity? :/ I mean, (s)he could have been a townie too? Did they know the identity of Chillarmy?

And what's up with that profile. >:O As there are some real words and shortened words there, maybe the name "ayok" is a hint of the identity? Maybe it is shortened too? (Like the real name is Parayomak - lol don't ask me about that that's 100% random. xD) Does any Pokémon character have a name that could be shortened ayok? Is there an "ayok" character in the PMJ fanfic maybe?
And why is it like that anyway? Does a rocket have an ability that can make the profile of the victim like that or was it maybe Rustick's own ability? (I kinda doubt that, I mean why would there be something like that?)

DNA, what's this "hipoke"? Was a werewolf with the nick hipoke killed by the werewolves? And if, why?

Anyway, do we have any hints now? As I didn't see any there... how are we supposed to vote with still no hints? ;_; (This speculation didn't really take me anywhere anyway...)

I hope it wasn't a bad idea to speculate a bit, I have never played this before... ^^; (Remember that everything here is 100% speculation. ;3)

Lolninjas.If it wasn't a mod-kill, it likely to be a one-time use ability activated really early. Well, it's a good start.

Actually, I noticed something interesting:

Given the dialogue, isn't this James that kills Chillarmy?

Chillarmy was killed by another player, not due to inactivity. Had he survived the night, he would not have been replaced. I never updated the thread after Chillarmy PMed me, so that's why I'm confirming this now.

However, since it's a new day, remember that all of you must post at least once before the day's end or risk being replaced (and now that we have a substantial waiting list [yay], it might just happen)!

In WW10, hipoke (now Purpose) was a member part of the Werewolf faction, and in a surprise move, he killed his partner then allowed himself to be killed. It was an odd move, to be sure, but after that the game became a whole lot more frustrating to win, due to a second wolf faction.

Or he never had a role to begin with and that's what was sent to him in a PM. Unlikely, but possible.
That's true, but somehow I doubt it. After all, why have no role, or even a role that makes more sense? Most likely it's some sort of ability, either his own or someone else's, that makes his role illegible upon being revealed (or upon death).

Just something worth noting; KA hasn't posted yet today either, yet he must have PM'ed PMJ during the night in order to still be alive.


So either he doesn't want to post, or he's relying on a night role to keep him alive.

He is probably referring to the fact that ESP hasn't posted in the thread since signing up.

He PMed me during the night, so his activity was not a concern.

Also, if anyone is modkilled, I will flat out say so. Modkills supersede player kills.

DNA hath been ninja'd! Sorry just had to point that out.

Moving on, it seems likely to me that Rusticks has a role that activates after he dies. Due to this, his role is hidden to prevent us from knowing what's going to happen.

I agree with others that James is probably a good guy (read 27772 already, he joins Ash at the end to defeat Giovanni) who can, once per game, kill a Rocket. Either way, this tells us little since the role implies that James can no longer kill. Also note that their is an Officer Jenny who is searching for Biff-er, Botch-wait no Butch. Perhaps an inspector?

Given the destroyed role of Rusticks, I can only guess the following:
