Adding Kam and Blui29 as subs. I believe we're waiting on Argetlam.

I don't really get why there is a confirm phase anyway. How does it help anyone? ;P

It makes sure that people know that they're playing and active.

And it makes sure that everyone got a role and that the game creators didn't fail.

RE: Werewolf XIII - Gunfire at Dusty Gulch - Signups closed - Confirm your role PMs!

How could you not know what you are playing if you got the PM?
You can see if you sent the role to everybody if you look at your PM sent box. :> (If you sent the roles, that is.)

Yeah, I haven't gotten Argetlam's yet, but he probably has gotten it.

In the meantime, I still haven't been able to get the vigilantes access to their hidden forum, so I am going to send you all a PM so you know who's in the group. Until I can get it up and running for you guys, you will have to rely on PMs to communicate with one another. Sorry. =/

RE: Werewolf XIII - Gunfire at Dusty Gulch - Signups closed - Confirm your role PMs!

I really think it is better to avoid using a hidden forum for game discussion for wolves. That ended up being my downfall last time because I ended up finding out without intending to. Usergroups also don't work because when I approve sellers I end up seeing what usergroups a person is in. I'd say stick to PM and Skype.

Whatever works best for the wolves out there. Use whatever communication method you wish.

KA, if PMJ made it so that it was a specific usergroup that would be able to see the wolf forum, as long as you weren't in that specific group wouldn't it be impossible for you to find our who the wolves are?

And then he could just name the usergroup something that wouldn't be obvious?

You're correct in assuming that only a specific usergroup can see the wolf forum. But I am not going to answer your question any further than that on the suspicion that I might unintentionally reveal sensitive information.

RE: Werewolf XIII - Gunfire at Dusty Gulch - Signups closed - Confirm your role PMs!

I don't see what you could reveal, but see if this makes any sense.

If the normal member group is called "member" , couldn't PMJ make it so that the wolf group is called "members" that way when King Arceus goes to add verified sellers and whatever he does, he wouldn't be able to tell immediately if he ends up adding a wolf to the verified seller group.

It works a bit differently than I believe you think it does, but I will say that there won't be any mistakes adding anyone to that usergroup.

It's kinda hard for PMJ to do so, as he's playing too.

You thought you did but you were wrong, which goes to show you should never assume anything

The werewolf usergroup also works just fine because Werewolf is at the very bottom of the list. As long as you don't scroll down all the way like a genius, you won't see if it's selected (and you shouldn't need to since neither of the verified sellers groups are near the wolf group in the list)

Also just have omahanime approve sellers. Shouldn't he be doing that anyway? I'm sure he'll understand if you told him why you were temporarily unable to do so.

The wolf group works just fine. I used it to great success last game and there's no reason why these guys can't use it too. I sent a PM to CMP with instructions on how to add/remove people from the wolf group, so there should not be any more problems.

Leave for a few days, new WW gets posted. Sad times :[

Add me as a sub. Please and thank you.

RE: Werewolf XIII - Gunfire at Dusty Gulch - Signups closed - Confirm your role PMs!

Well, since we only need to wait for Argetlam and do a few other things, I reckon this game is as good as started.

Night 0 begins now!! It will end on Wednesday, June 27th, at 11.59PM Pacific Daylight Time (UTC -7).
It's currently Sunday the 24th at 5.39PM as of the time I write this post, so you can calculate time zones from there if you have trouble.

Some of you have night roles. These can be used on Night 0, with two exceptions:
  • Any role that involves killing a player. This includes the vigilante kill.
  • Any role that says it can't be used on Night 0

Please send your night role PMs to me. Do not send them to Chillarmy. I have an unlimited inbox and he doesn't. If I do not receive your night role, it will not count. This will apply for the entire game.

By the way, if you have a night role and you don't want to use it tonight, please PM me and say "No Action" or something similar, so I know you're at least playing.

Let the deathmatch begin!

Note: You may not post during the night for ANY reason. If you have questions, take it to PM.

RE: Werewolf XIII - Gunfire at Dusty Gulch - Signups closed - Confirm your role PMs!

First I would like to thank you all for being very punctual about your role PMs and sending them all in well ahead of time! Now I can start the next day.

Day 1

As the sun rose over the town of Dusty Gulch, it brought with it a storm of dust, billowing through every corridor of every street. The next few days were going to have very rough weather, and it would make visibility even at close range seem like a chore.

They all awoke and began to go about their daily business and saw a note tacked onto the front door of the saloon: "We have arrived. Resist or die. - The Vigilantes". On the opposite side of the front wall, another note lay hanging, with markedly different handwriting. It said "Arsenic is grey not teal".

"Great," someone spoke up. "They're here already."

"But no one's died yet, which is fortunate," another said.

"That doesn't mean no one's ever going to die. We need to find who these scumbags are and get 'em!"

"You think that note means anything?"

"Pah, just some scumbag trick trying to catch us off our guard!"

Day 1 is going to end on Saturday, July 7th, at 11.59pm PDT (UTC -7). You have until then to make your decision. 17 votes are required to end the day.
You can either vote for one person to be lynched, or you can reach a "No Lynch" consensus. If there is no simple majority, one of you will be lynched at random.

Yeah, kind of a lame day update. Don't worry; I'll get better at this.
