This is probably rather unlikely and just fancy imagination on my part, but is there a chance that TDL could actually have a malgin ability that activates on lynch? The last thing we need is lynching an indie and getting the town cursed on Day One.

Let's go along and say TDL simply only has a lynchproof ability. In that case, I think it should last at least three days, so there's really no rush to just roll the dice.

RE: Werewolf XIII - Gunfire at Dusty Gulch - Day 1 ends Saturday, July 7th, 11.59pm PDT

The whole Arsenic is not Teal thing is pretty confusing,So I'm just going for No lynch Today because we aren't sure how likely it is that someone has an ability that can tell the allegiance of two people night 0 and tell the whole town. On a side note: Can someone explain to me how Cinesra is tied into this whole thing because I'm just not getting it maybe because I'm tired I'm not thinking straight?

RE: Werewolf XIII - Gunfire at Dusty Gulch - Day 1 ends Saturday, July 7th, 11.59pm PDT

Cinesra is arsenic spelled backwards.

Arsenic backwards is Cinesra. I should I have known when he explained his name change...

Cinesra is Arsenic spelled backwards. Arsenic was mentioned in the note, so he's suspected.

I wouldn't think too much of it though.

Double Ninja. >3

Even if the note is real, all that it seems to say is that Cinesra and Teal have different allegiences.

Which is useful information, but we don't know which one is from town (or maybe neither are o_O)... I looked at the last werewolf to see if the Indie is in grey, and it is, but so is all the town.

Both of you guys are utilizing Gambler's fallacy. RB got wolf role every time he played Werewolf. The past role assignment doesn't influence current role assignments.

To be specific, I was wolf 3/4 times. The other time I got a bad townie role and the game didn't finish so f that.

Anyway, all I can say right now is, DNA just got back at me when I hosted WW11. Whether you take that as something is up to you guys. I have exams for the next few days so yeah.

Okay, TDL likes stirring things up a bit. There are a few possibilities. 1) TDL has a role that allows him to come back to life/not be lynched and so wants us to kill him so that he can activate his role, proving himself innocent while not putting the town count lower. More likely however, at least in my opinion, is that 2) TDL has some indie win condition. There's the simple "If you get lynched you win" role but this seems highly overpowered and way too easy to win with. More likely is that TDL comes back to life/isn't lynched and when this happens his win condition changes. Perhaps something like Ice Arceus's role last game: he dies as a townie, comes back as an indie with everyone thinking he's still town, then gets an easier win condition-except we've got no guarantees this time that TDL's role is against the wolves once he is resurrected, it could be against the town. The chances of this being TDL's role or something like it seems very high to me. For this reason, I don't think we should lynch TDL today.

It looks like the majority wants to go with the No Lynch here, with PMJ wanting to lynch safariblade and a couple others considering it as well. Perhaps we can set up a tally of who wants to lynch what?

RE: Werewolf XIII - Gunfire at Dusty Gulch - Day 1 ends Saturday, July 7th, 11.59pm PDT

I'm actually considering safariblade, but he won us the last game so yeah, there is still SOME gratitude. :p

Peace safariblade, just joking.

3) TDL is spicing the game up, is not a wolf, and enjoys trolling everyone.

I still say no lynch.

RE: Werewolf XIII - Gunfire at Dusty Gulch - Day 1 ends Saturday, July 7th, 11.59pm PDT

What bad could happen if we lynch ComfortEagle?

He wants to be lynched, so he might have the following:
1) An indie role which kills someone who votes for him
This doesn't seem likely, because going down so early makes no sense for him.
2) A Wolf role which kills someone who votes for him.
Again, if the wolves want him to do this they are stupid... This makes no sense.
3) He is a townie who cannot be lynched before the following:
Day 2, X people die, etc.
This is good for us
4) He is a WOLF who cannot be lynched before another wolf dies (Wasn't this a role last game?)
This is bad for us... Makes it seem like he's innocent.
5) He is using reverse psychology so we don't lynch him.
Then he would be a wolf imho.
6) He's being a troll.

Forgive me if I missed any (I probably did) and feel free to add your own.

I don't see a downside, at this point, to lynching TDL.

Nengeni, did you read DV's speculation? Like IA's role last game, there are indie roles that benefit from getting killed (by getting closer to their win condition or getting an easier win condition).

So let me get this straight: You can think of 6 possibilities, 4 of which result in negative outcomes for the town, and you don't see a downside to lynching him. That's kinda weird...

Where does it mention allegiance? I'm not seeing it there.

The color thing, and the color peoples' names come up in when killed.

RE: Werewolf XIII - Gunfire at Dusty Gulch - Day 1 ends Saturday, July 7th, 11.59pm PDT

Like Glace and other people have pointed out Gray could mean an indie. In which cause it would read Cinesra is an indie ..Teal is not.

Good day my fellow "Dusty Gulch"ers!

For starters I would like to share an interesting observation... DNA made kind of a slip-up before the game even started...:

Yeah, I haven't gotten Argetlam's yet, but he probably has gotten it.

In the meantime, I still haven't been able to get the vigilantes access to their hidden forum, so I am going to send you all a PM so you know who's in the group. Until I can get it up and running for you guys, you will have to rely on PMs to communicate with one another. Sorry. =/

I really think it is better to avoid using a hidden forum for game discussion for wolves. That ended up being my downfall last time because I ended up finding out without intending to. Usergroups also don't work because when I approve sellers I end up seeing what usergroups a person is in. I'd say stick to PM and Skype.
Now, this MIGHT be clever bluff on Arceus' part, but I would say that the fact that Arceus seemed to worry about this makes him look like a townie/indie in my eyes. At least a bit more than everyone else atm. ;P

Next, lets move to the night update. And lol I seem to get mentioned in it, am I so famous here now? 8)

Anyway, I would say that:
1) DNA is giving us some vague hint.
2) DNA is screwing with us.
3) Some person is giving us a vague hint - a night role? I don't really think so because:

4) Some person is screwing with us (with their night role) - maybe testing what kind of reactions they can get with such kind of hint?
5) ???

I would say that 1) & 4) (and maybe even 5) - something completely different) sound the most probable for me, as I think that it would be weird if someone knew enough at night 0 to give a hint about two people. On the other hand, it really could be just DNA screwing with us so... *shrug*

TDL... I can't really trust him after what he did last game. He was all "THIS TIME AROUND I'M NOT BLUFFING, I'M HELPING YOU :))))) " and then he was bluffing. And he's saying the same thing again. I think that lynching him is just too risky.
I don't really support lynching safariblade either, because if he is a townie, he still adds to the townie count. But PMJ, I kind of agree that if we lynch someone, the best option could be safariblade for the reasons you stated.
With no lynch we are not going to hit a townie which is good, so it seems like the best option for me though. Hitting a wolf at random at this point is very unprobable.

RE: Werewolf XIII - Gunfire at Dusty Gulch - Day 1 ends Saturday, July 7th, 11.59pm PDT

The reason DNA was having trouble getting the wolf groups to work is because neither me nor de set the group up. He asked CMP to do it because after the roles were passed out, neither I nor de got the wolf card

I obviously know how to set up the wolf group because I made it, and de knows the Admin CP like the back of his hand. I'm pretty sure he would not be defeated by a simple usergroup addition.

If that doesn't clear me (us) as town, I don't know what will.

I don't get it. What slip up, and how does it affect us?
