Well that's not productive. You're kind of saying that you'd rather sit back and watch scum eliminate your allies. Newsflash: the more you eliminate your enemy team, the easier job scum has. Strength in numbers people.

Because threatening to sit back and do nothing D1 was really productive, right?

And nowhere did I say I wasn't going to do anything. The only thing I'm playing for is to fulfill one of my 2 win condition: Eliminate all scum or eliminate all members of the faction I'm trying to kill. If scum helps me eliminate the other faction, cool. If the other faction helps me eliminate scum, cool.

It only hurts the teams that can't eliminate their opposing faction. Right now, Lemonade has outed himself as Physical aligned. The faction that wants to eliminate the Physical faction is now at an advantage. There's no reason for them to continue fighting scum when they can just use their time to determine who the other members of the Physical faction is.

If you investigate scum (at least with most roles, as there is always a chance that stuff like Psychic Arceus will be excluded from this), they will turn out town. Never be sure.

Wanting to avoid a random lynch is a terrible reason to cast a vote. Scumhunt more.

Also trying to get the town looking for on flavor than actually looking for scum annoys me more though.

Like sure, Arceus Dragon may be in the Dragon faction. Doesn't do us any good if we don't know who Arceus Dragon is. All it's done is waste our time.

Sure, I'll scum hunt. Tomorrow, when there is time. We are reaching our deadline and have no leads still. Yes, we gained information today, but since no one wants to go after other factions, and we don't know who scum is, there isn't much to do.
And I ether lose somebody who isn't contributing (i.e. you) then somebody adding to the conversation (which, granted, aren't many right now).

^To be fair, it IS thanksgiving... I mean if he doesn't say anything by tomorrow I can see voting him, but give the guy a break; it's a holiday.

You don't usually want to have to fight for votes late. Generally, you want to have a day or 2 left when you get down to L-1, which is when you would get a claim from the person up for a lynch. If people believe the claim it gives time for people to switch their vote to others.

Your metagame sucks. I know non-WW forum where a day last 3 IRL days and that generates loads of discussion and it's still always enough.

For smaller games, sure. Votes can be swung fairly quickly. But a 25 player game with a large group of players that barely post? We're going to need more than a day to swing the votes there.

You know, I have an idea. This may sound bad and rather unwise for team play, but if we're going for an all around victory for the town and not focusing on killing people on the opposing teams, why not have one of the people who has the QT to one of their chats donate it to the entire town so we can have that for night chat for the entire town? If not just for the merits of night time discussion, we'll have one person who is confirmed to be on that team and as such, town. Unless the person with the original QT link passes it to someone else who passes it around, that is... But yeah.

Needless to say, either town works together and gives scum a hard time, or town decides to kill off their enemy team and let the scum be the scavengers.

It is obviously much easier for a team to win by eliminating their opposing team than eliminating scum. Just to save you more time in the future, if your idea reveals a team, it isn't going to work.
