The cycle isn't right, but I somewhat agree with your points (I'll reread part of the thread tomorrow since it's night for me now and I'm not 100% awake).
With a mass alignment claim we're not really going to know who's scum unless there's something else to go by. However, it would (probably) allow at least one or two people to join their team's QT so long as the team leader believes their claim.

Haven't read it all yet however after a quick skim I have this: Don't reveal! If you reveal then the team trying to kill your faction will gun for you. Mass claims are stupid in multi-ball. PMJ must have some kind of safe claim for the scum / indies. Not to mention now we will just all be gunning for each other.

And aside from joining a QT, it's gonna lead to a massive killing attempt.
A mass role claim wouldn't be helpful. Not only scum, but also town, are likely to lie. Even if the numbers don't add up, how are we gonna distinguish who is scum among the 6-7 people of a faction with more members than it should? And how will we be sure that those who claimed to be of an alignment are really of that alignment? Chances are we'll clear people who are not clean.

Let's be realistic here.
Lemonade claimed a side, so if he lives through the night he'll be in contact with his team.
RaichuGirl claimed to be in contact with her leader.

Since we have no scum suspects, wouldn't it be reasonable for most of us to want them dead?
I mean, the Astra vote is fine and all, but he could be anything. Sure, I'm not in contact with my team, so RaichuGirl could be on it. But I don't think normal Arceus is in my faction, and I'm not with Lemonade either.
I think that, to make other factions weaker, we should prevent them from communicating as much as possible.

Anyone else have a Hunger Games feeling? Working with others who want you dead and knowing you'll want to kill them? Good times, good times.

Balance is explicitly not guaranteed. I tried to make each team unique but I already know there are a few places I could have improved upon. I'm not saying that the game isn't balanced--I certainly tried--but this is an entirely new idea and I know I've already messed up in one or two spots. We'll see how it plays out, though!

Some of us form a pack like the career pack, where we work together to eliminate the others until only the pack member remains. If my faction member don't contact me early i may just accidently help to get them killed.

i'm sure the unique part is well potrayed by each of the arceus own type..

Secondly, Teal, you need to forget the whole idea of "town" and "scum" since that doesn't apply here.
We all want each other dead, with a few exceptions. I don't want my ENEMIES to communicate.

I want to point out now that Teal is either physical and protecting Lemonade, or normal Arceus and protecting RaichuGirl. Because otherwise his post makes no sense.

It actually does. Wanting to kill people because they can communicate is crap logic. It's like "Hey! These guys are neighbors! We must kill them, since they can communicate!"

Agree.. since the town itself is so split into their own agenda (most likely)

It makes perfectly sense and has nothing to do with my alignment. We should aim to lynch scum. You suggest we don't even try to lynch scum. Scum has different winconditions that for all we know (we know nothing) could end the game any time. The more scum there is, the bigger the chances that one will end the game pre-maturely, potentially before any team can wipe out the one team they should. The second wincons will step into the game at a later point, there is little way around that, but we should focus to at least TRY to lynch scum atm.

He could just easily die on night 2. But dying in day 2 is also a possibility
