Well we don't have any doctors dead yet, so he should be able to survive for a bit longer unless scum has a strongman.

Well, there's Dr. Mario, but I'm pretty sure that doesn't count...
Although, I would probably be surprised if there wasn't at least one.

Day 4

All of a sudden, there was a blinding flash of light. When the dazed crowd could see again, they were in a baseball stadium, and Astra was standing there holding everyone's worst nightmare - the home-run bat. Without saying a word, Astra walked up to ChilBill, grabbed him, and hurled him into the air. Making sure his posture was correct, Astra reached back, and swung for the fences. ChillBill was sent flying cleanly out of the stadium, never to be seen or heard from again. There was another flash of light, and everything was back to normal, except that ChillBill was gone.

ChillBill was:
Role: King Dedede
Alignment: Brawlers

You are King Dedede, and you rule over Dream Land with what you think is an iron fist. Truthfully, you aren't really a king, but you are looked up to by many of Dream Land's citizens and you just kinda wound up as the guy people went to for any problems they had. You're also bigger than them, which you found really helped when determining who got to make the rules.

Attack 1: Jet Hammer (30/80)

Ability: Inhale
Once each night you may PM me the name of a player. You will randomly learn one of their abilities. (Not everyone has an ability you can inhale.) If you learn something, you may either consume it, allowing you to use that ability as your own this night, or spit it out, preventing its usage (by that player) during this night.

Final Smash: Guardian of Dreams
When you use this ability, all players (including yourself) will be subject to the following effects:

- TOMORROW, EVERYONE MUST TYPE EVERYTHING IN ALL CAPS AND BOLD.
- DURING THE DAY AFTER THAT, ALL PLAYERS MUST USE AT LEAST TWO COLORS PER POST AND MAY NOT AT ANY TIME USE THE DEFAULT FONT COLOR. THIS IS IN ADDITION TO THE ALL BOLD AND ALL CAPS RESTRICTION.
- IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE EFFECTS, ALL BRAWLERS-ALIGNED PLAYERS WILL BE DEATHPROOF, BUT THEY WILL LOSE THE PROTECTION IF THEY BREAK THIS RESTRICTION AT ANY TIME BEFORE THE SECOND DAY ENDS. THIS PROTECTION EXTENDS TO THE END OF THE SECOND NIGHT, AT WHICH TIME ALL RESTRICTIONS WILL BE REMOVED.
(This Final Smash can only be used at night.)

Win Condition: At least one Brawlers-aligned player is alive when all threats are eliminated

Day 4

The day went by very quickly. As soon as ChillBill announced that Haunted Water could protect the Rejects, the entire group chased after him. Being a young boy, Haunted Water was exhausted rather quickly. In a last ditch attempt, he jumped off the edge of Lylat Cruise, only to be sucked into the engines moments later.

Haunted Water was:

Role: Young Link
Alignment: Rejects

You are Link. That's right - Link. The Hero of Time. Wielder of the Master Sword. The keeper of the Triforce of Courage. Anyway, even though you've aligned yourself with the Rejects, it's not like you're evil or anything. Just the opposite, in fact. But you can't stop looking at that kid who kinda looks like you... his eyes kinda weird you out.

Attack: Fire Bow (10/100)

Ability: Eeeeyup
You have access to the Wavedasher's Hangout and may communicate freely in this forum with your fellow Rejects.

Ability: Silent Protagonist
You can't speak during Day 1.

Ability: Deku Shield
Once a game during any night you may PM me the name of any Rejects-aligned player (including yourself). You will use your mighty shield to guard that player from death for that night. If you use this ability, you can't use any others during this night.

Ability: Lens of Truth
Once a game during any night you may PM me the name of a player other than yourself. Their role PM will be revealed to you at the start of the next day. If you use this ability, you can't use any others during this night.

Ability: Bomb
Once a game during any night you may PM me the name of a player (including yourself). That player will be killed at the start of the next day. If you use this ability, you can't use any others during this night.

Final Smash: Fierce Deity
When you use this ability, the damage of all Rejects-aligned players' attacks is increased by 20. This effect lasts until you die, and can only be used once per game.

Win Condition: At least one Rejects-aligned player is alive when all other players are dead, or nothing can prevent the same

Ecstatic at having found another Reject, everyone went to bed happy.


Night 4 begins now and ends April 23 at 6 PM

Night 4

The Rejects didn't take much time deciding who to kill. Wolf went out and proceeded to violently eat Bisharp37's head. Cuz y'know, wolves like meat.

Bisharp37 was:

Role: Luigi
Alignment: Brawlers

You are the man in green. For almost thirty years, you have lived in your brother's shadow, and you've grown to be almost okay with that. You've had a few games of your own, but the goal has always been to save Mario... You love your brother, but you'd be okay if he were to suffer an unfortunate "accident."

Attack 1: Fireball (15/100)
Attack 2: Fire Jump Punch (40/70) If you have more than 5 votes on you, effect is (100/100)

Ability: Super Luigi
If Mario is dead, your vote weight is increased by 1.

Final Smash: Negative Zone
When you use this ability, any three players of your choosing will suffer from the following effects:

- Receive 3 lynch votes each
- Restricted to 5 words per post
- Vote weight reduced to 0
- Loss of all abilities

This effect will last until the end of a day, and a randomly selected one of the chosen players will die when this effect ends. If you are within 3 votes of being lynched and are alive when the day ends, all of your chosen players will die instead.

Glace, coming from back from a relaxing night-time fly, found his headless friend lying on the ground. In a fit of rage, he committed suicide.

Glace was:

Role: Meta Knight
Alignment: Brawlers

You are Meta Knight, masked swordsman and denizen of Dream Land. You are the best character in Brawl by a million miles. Your relationship with Kirby is kind of a mystery. You've got some sort of love/hate thing going on, but you guys will team up to take out the more troublesome foes when Dream Land is in real danger.

Attack 1: Shuttle Loop (10/80)

Ability: Sneaky Snatch
Once each night you may PM me a player's name. If that player is holding an item, you will steal it. If you try to pass an item and use this ability, your ability will fail if your pass does.

Ability: Sword of Friendship
Once a game at any time you may PM me the names of two players (including yourself). Those players will become best friends and their lives will become linked from that point forward. (They will become aware of their new friendship with the other player.)

Final Smash: Boost
When you use this ability, all Brawlers-aligned players (including you) will gain boosts to their night abilities (if any) for the next night.

Win Condition: At least one Brawlers-aligned player is alive when all threats are eliminated

Meanwhile, Some Loser was lying in bed. All of a sudden, a pair of bullets came flying straight towards him. With some quick thinking, Some Loser immediately did an epic barrel roll, completely dodging the bullets. "Thank god for the Z button," he thought.

The town woke up the next morning, finding two of their missing gone. With no time to waste, they got right to discussing the next day's plans.


Day 5 begins now and ends April 30th at 2pm. 16 players left, 9 to lynch. You will be fighting on Mushroomy Kingdom today.

Suddenly, someone came up on Astra from behind, wound up, and released a deadly punch that sent Astra TO THE MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON! When everyone looked to see who did it, they were gone, leaving only a blur behind. Astra landed on the moon with incredible force and exploded on impact. Astra was:

Role: Master Hand
Alignment: None

You are Master Hand, king of the Smash Bros. world. How dare these peons break into your realm and claim ownership? Hell no. Time to lay the smack down.

Ability: ...You're Kidding, Right?
You are immune to all Final Smashes.

Ability: 300 HP
You are deathproof until Day 5.

Ability: Grab
Once each night you may choose any player other than yourself. That player will be crushed in your mighty grip, restricting their ability usage for that night. (50% failure rate)

Ability: Bullets
Once each night you must kill a player other than yourself.

Win Condition: Eliminate all players or let nothing prevent the same

Day continues as normal.

Apparently Glace was telling the truth about his role. Unfortunately, now he's dead, and Jay/Bisharp37 with him. Sucks to be them, I guess.

What confuses me, though, is Astra and his Home-Run Bat killing ChillBill. Why on Earth did he just up and kill one of the town's most useful players?

Well, that bullet ability seems to be what I dodged last night. Snake uses bullets, yes, but he's probably a Brawler-aligned character.

Disregard what I just said about Astra, now that he's dead. Good riddance. ...and he was lying about his deathproof role, but he's all gone now. Thankfully. Sadly, we lost ChillBill, so now Kirby and Dedede (both the role copiers) are gone. Dang.

His target was apparently Some Loser, who managed to dodge the kill attempt like a boss. Good for him.

Well, I didn't expect Master Hand to be the guy shooting everyone. Good job... guy who punches people.

If Master Hand is in this game, then who knows what the other Indie characters could be in this game? Maybe Taboo?

Some Loser has to be a Star Fox character. That doesn't really prove anything, since Wolf is on the Reject's team, and Fox and Falco are on the Brawler's team (assuming they're both in this game).

Well, shall we go ahead and lynch DNA then? I like that idea, a lot.

I am ready to accept my fate, but you guys have time. Don't go for a hasty lynch; share your guys' information with one another. If you are so sure that you want to kill me, then there's no harm in waiting and seeing what everyone has to say, right? I'm clearly not going anywhere.

In retrospect, I realize that Astra's weapon of choice to kill ChillBill - the Home-Run Bat - was not fully explained. I'd think it was an item that allows the holder to kill someone, though, and after that it might be used up. But as to why he chose to kill ChillBill, I guess we'll never know.

So yes. Use every hour of this day to try and find new leads or suspicions. Don't let it end quickly. I'm not going to run or hide.

... anyways, it's interesting how Astra role claimed Yoshi, a character that is practically guaranteed to be in this game, without anyone going "HEY THAT'S ME YOU'RE LYING". I'm guessing the real Yoshi is an indie, so a role reveal was out of the question, but Astra shouldn't've had any way to know that... agh. This is all just very strange.

I also wonder if Some Loser barrel rolling means he's Fox/Falco/Wolf. I don't think we should read too far into it, because it's also likely that that was just PMJ spicing things up, but it's worth noting.

Yes I'm a wolf. Yes I know I'm going to be lynched today, unless someone brings some fascinating new revelation to light...but I doubt that.
