RE: Werewolf XXI-0 - Left4TheWolves - Day 1 ends 3rd July 9am AEST

Just because a player is a confirmed innocent does not mean their ideas and hunches are automatically correct. The only reason I'm not immediately jumping on alex for that incredibly awful sheep is because he probably also recognized that a jump onto TT is the only thing right now that can save his sorry ass from the votes he was gathering earlier. It's also very amusing how quick and simply he dumped his NL.

I'm actually starting to suspect Teal a little bit. He... I don't know, seems a little too passive, more so than he usually is. He's not as suspicious as alex and TT, but I'm gonna keep an eye on him.
Because I have a life (celebrated a friend's leave for Japan yesterday the whole day) and a deadline (worked the whole Friday and Saturday on this) and a test (on Thursday) coming up.

If you want to suspect me because of my life, then good job. I find your posts suspicious too, just so you know. (However I found them suspicious last game too and you were town. >_<)

Also, I didn't join "Celever's wagon", I typed up my suspicions towards TT as I caught up and in the end noticed that he already had votes, which is good because I was going to vote for him too.

##UNVOTE: TwistedTurtwig
##VOTE: alex

Didn't you want a no lynch no matter what?

The move reminds me of what Keeper did last game. He did whatever it took to shift the town's focus off of him, supporting bogus lynches with the mentality "anyone but me."

In general, I believe self-preservation is affiliation neutral, but in alex's case, his actions are just leaving a bad taste in my mouth.

I'm going to do what you are actually SUPPOSED to do D1, which is to follow the only confirmed town.

So Celever is a confirmed town. That's great. But does he have any sort of investigative ability, or any sort of ability at all? No. He knows just as little, or possibly less than the rest of us. Blindly following someone just because they're town aligned is a recipe for disaster.

And building off of what Athena said, you didn't think twice about forgoing your custom to always vote for No Lynch on D1. Only five minutes after Celever posted his reasoning for my lynch, you went right along with him and changed your vote to me. It's pretty scummy when someone changes their opinion that easily.

My vote stands.

You know... I've been talking about alex for a while, but I guess I really ought to put my money where my mouth is. ##fingergun: alex

I know why alex switched votes and you should know why. This last you post you made, I don't like it. Celever might not have a power role, but we can at least trust that he isn't scum. Even if his hunches turn up wrong, we know that he is performing in good faith and not trying to mislead us. I'm switching my vote because that post is just... terrible. You're making a mountain out of a molehill (and so is Teal with his vote).

RE: Werewolf XXI-0 - Left4TheWolves - Day 1 ends 3rd July 9am AEST

(That post was directed at TT, obviously; I should just learn to quote posts.)

Clearly he's doing it to save his own behind, I'm sure everyone realized that. It doesn't make it any less suspicious though. In regards to my comment about Celever, I'm not saying that he's trying to mislead us, just that he doesn't have any more information than the rest of us. I thought that it was obvious enough, but apparently it wasn't.

RE: Werewolf XXI-0 - Left4TheWolves - Day 1 ends 3rd July 9am AEST

You claimed that following Celever is a disaster when at this point in the game... it's not.

Don't twist my words. I said that blindly following someone just because they're town is a disaster. People need to use their own judgement as well.

Also, I'm leaving now and won't be back until later in the day, just a heads up.

So you don't want to know why alex suddenly changed playstyles? Voting is not just used for those you want to definitely lynch, it's also used for pressure. Although you must surely know this...

(I'm also leaving for a good chunk of hours now. Guess I might say it as well if TT does.)

Not on day one. At least, it's forgivable.

Teal: I won't say why alex changed. I know why, but I'll let him explain himself so as to not give him any legitimate reasons.

RE: Werewolf XXI-0 - Left4TheWolves - Day 1 ends 3rd July 9am AEST

Vote count:

L-7 Alex: 4 (Twisted Turtwig, PMJ, Haunted Water, Scorched Feathers, Teal)
Sillykyle : 1 (TheGuy)
Camoclone: 0 (alex)
Teal: 1 (Celever)
L-8 TwistedTurtwig: 3 (alex, Teal, Eron, PMJ)

RE: Werewolf XXI-0 - Left4TheWolves - Day 1 ends 3rd July 9am AEST

Alex is blindly following Celever and he has been since before Celever was confo-town. I don't like it. I find TT scummy but to a much lesser degree.

RE: Werewolf XXI-0 - Left4TheWolves - Day 1 ends 3rd July 9am AEST

Celevers logic is far from sound because it applies to a whole bunch of other players in this game as well.

RE: Werewolf XXI-0 - Left4TheWolves - Day 1 ends 3rd July 9am AEST

Was my vote missed or did I mess up the formatting somehow?

RE: Werewolf XXI-0 - Left4TheWolves - Day 1 ends 3rd July 9am AEST

Hey, WW, if somebody doesn't get 11 votes by the time Night comes, do they still get lynched?
Only reason I ask is because I'm only voting for alex because of his NL vote, and to keep it parked on him only to not get a lynch is I dunno, redundant.
I think I can use that there.

RE: Werewolf XXI-0 - Left4TheWolves - Day 1 ends 3rd July 9am AEST

I haven't been voting for no NL since the first couple hours of the game...

Implying that you have to follow someone. I think TT is scummy but Alex is more scummy.
No, I suppose we really don't have to follow anybody... But we'd get nowhere if we all stuck to our independent votes.
In regards to this:
Camoclone said:

Actually, that's exactly why I don't suspect alex. He may be sheeping to an extent, but he is following a now confirmed town. It doesn't really make too much sense for a wolf to suddenly jump on a non-wolf's logic (when they aren't confirmed). And since we know Celever is town, I'm willing to look over alex for the time being.

TwistedTurtwig said:
Also, it wouldn't be a bad idea to look into the people who are voting for me. Out of the five, two are Celever and Eron, one who's town and one who's likely town, leaving alex, Teal, and MtC. These are all people I'd like to keep an eye out for, because they seemed a bit overeager to join Celever's wagon.

Ok, now I'm done, I promise.
You want us to suspect the lynch against you, when you know at least two of the people on you are (most likely) town. I'm not sure what to think about Teal, as, like MtC said, he's been too passive. I also don't like that he had to point out prs for all the world to see, but meh.
MtC I don't have a reason to suspect yet.

I agree with the bolded section. No, confirmed town doesn't mean always right, but do you have anything better today?
The rest of your post is pretty much void because you did the same thing shortly after:

Seems like you just waited to see if more people would vote before trying to come up with a good excuse for jumping the lynch.

Your word means nothing, honestly. You actually do have good reasoning for your alex vote (flip-flopping play styles) but overall, lynching alex doesn't even make sense.

Alex, following the "only confirmed town" doesn't mean he's right. He knows as much as the rest of us.
However, I get defending him.
TT, regardless of what I just said about him not being automatically right, that doesn't make it a disaster.

I agree with the above post. While Celever being town doesn't make him right, it also means the wolves cant have their way with votes. Especially Day 1, when its easiest for them to cause mayhem and pretty much get on anybody they like.
