I'm going to get into the mind of the wolves to answer this question. They obviously wanted the town to waste a lynch on you so that they didn't have to kill you. They knew that Keeper was probably going to get lynched soon and so they waited to reveal until Keeper was dead.

Still doesn't explain why they didn't try to kill me as soon as they "found out" I was the "SK". The SK is still too dangerous to the wolves to be left alive if they really knew who it was

I would disagree that it's a last ditch attempt because WW lynches never change that fast he knew he was dead the moment he got half the votes on him.

Fair enough. It might not save Keeper's life, but it would still effectively do the job of keeping the focus on me instead of potentially one of their fellow wolves.

However, I don't understand why me not posting since my accusation would make me seem suspicious. What would I possibly have to gain by not posting since my accusation if I were doing it on purpose?

Not at all. I was simply explaining my general lack of activity. This also still doesn't explain the point I made and left quoted within this quote.

I don't understand how it gets the attention off of his "fellow wolves". The only person who was suspicious to us at the time of Keeper's lynch is SF. So if SF is a wolf - then it's only one. And if SF is town it completely disproves your theory. We're probably going to lynch SF today so we'll get to find out.

It would keep the town too focused on me not just today, but in future days. The town would be too focused on me instead of other, non-SF suspicions they may have or too focused on me instead of picking up on anything else the wolves might do that the town would otherwise pick up on if they weren't focused on one false lead.

I didn't realize how few votes were already on SF, we can definitely get a Cinesra lynch today. Cinesra is definitely the better lynch for today, we really want to try to go for the SK before the wolves, so he can't take out any more of us.

We need to find the SK and fast. Cinesra is our best lead and if this is just the wolves WIFOMing props to them because I'm taking the bait.

I'm not convinced about Cinesra being the SK. The wolves could have decided to reveal him to us instead of killing him themselves so they don't have to use a night on him, but that's just one possible motive. It could have just as easily been them trying to get us to kill a random person, with the bonus of putting the focus on Cinesra which reduces the chances of us finding one of their comrades. We have no reason to believe it's one over the other, so choosing one and lynching someone over it doesn't make any sense. You can hardly even call that a "lead". We've just kind of latched onto it because nobody has brought up anything better.

The "acting scummy" case against SF seems weak as well. He wanted to end the day quickly, yes, but this is his second game. It's understandable that he would want to get to night so Things Can Happen. Obviously, this isn't how the town wins games, but if you look at it from the viewpoint of a new player (whether wolf or town) it's at least understandable. We should take that bit of context into consideration before reading it as a wolf move.

I'd rather go with a no lynch than either of these two at the moment. Lynching someone based on shoddy evidence "for the info" is tempting, but it has a great chance of hitting a townie and that won't get us any useful info. We saw it happen with Reinforce, and I'm not keen on performing a reenactment of that.

Because we need to have a lynch today, no lynch is not an option. It is way too far in the game for a no lynch. The only reason I was voting Scorched Feathers was because I thought a lot of other people were voting him and it would be extremely hard to get them all to change their votes to someone else.

No lynch is not an option this far into the game.

I understand that if SF is lynched then I'm scummy and am probably worth FoS'ing, however, there are two points that I would like to make in premature defense. Partly because I'm bored... actually yeah I'm just bored.

1) If I were scum, then I would have just sat back and let the lynch on Cinesra happen. I haven't been particularly active thus far due to irl issues (but the other day I was very big on not lynching Reinforce) and so it wouldn't have been suspicious for me to do so. I genuinely don't believe KoN when he says that Cinesra is the SK, and I do believe my read on SF.

2) At least I'm attempting to contribute. Realistically we should be FoS'ing every inactive player in this game who aren't even attempting to contribute (I do recall Cinesra trying hard to contribute a couple of times though). Flying under the radar is a common mafia strategy, so after today I will be applying pressure to you inactives. If you don't want it, then start contributing now!

The super mods were feeling good. Sure, they had lost a couple members, but every war has casualties. They'd just have to play harder. They decided to ban Cinesra. WPM saw them try to do it and said, "wtf ya fuels don't ban him." And the super mods asked, "Don't you think that's a little counterproductive?" And WPM replied, "Maybe, but it's my site so what I say goes. "

Defeated, the super mods all went to bed.

The Admin CP hacker was riding high after finding out he'd inadvertently banned a super mod. Desperate to find out if he could do it again, he scrolled through the list of players and tried his luck with WanderingWolf. Would he be one of them, the hacker wondered?
